We tried this place because we were staying at the hotel and the menu selection looks and sounds great but unfortunately the execution isnt there. The food was really pricey and lacked flavor. The lamb was cooked well but bland, the greens tasted as if they had been soaked in vinegar and lard and the fried sweet tomatoes were soggy. The pan seared duck was still slimy and extremely bland. The service was good but the food took quite a long time to come out even though it wasnt very busy. The best thing about our experience was the server and the dessert but I wouldnt eat there again, not worth the price tag. Its disappointing because I dont mind paying $40 per plate if the food is good.

The food was excellent, not the usual deep-fried fare to be found in Nashville. My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch when we were staying at the Gaylord Opryland, and were very happy. Service was prompt, polite, and professional. Atmosphere was lovely. My husband is unable to have any lactose, so they made a special lactose-free sauce for the eggs benedict, which most restaurants dont put the effort into doing. Overall a nice experience, albeit quite pricey, but every restaurant on the resort was expensive.

While this is a little "pricey" compared to our normal eating habits, it was absolutely delicious, more food than we needed (the burgers we had were gigantic!!! AND perfectly prepared!) Our waitress was wonderful, keeping both our water glasses and my iced tea always filled. And the setting absolutely couldnt be beat: amongst foliage and waterfalls, a pond filled with large koi, and beautiful sunshine all around (though our table was shaded by a tall palm tree). Really good!

My sister and I entered into the Cascades in the Opryland Resort. Just driving in from Detroit Michigan we were hungry and tired. We were seated at a table and greeted by Patricia. Patricia was the best waitress ever. She made us feel welcome instantly. The food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend This restaurant, the experience and food was perfect. An extra special THANKS to Patricia, you took a few extra minutes to make our dinner a pleasure. .

The wait was quite long, but we did go on Christmas Eve...so I suppose that I should have expected that to be the case. The food took longer than expected to come out. Our party was ~22 in size with 8 kids and the rest teens/adults. The quality of the food was excellent. I do not intend to return here on any other high traffic day or holiday, though I will return again.

I ordered a burger with just the bacon and cheese, the budget came with all the vegetables too. I also ordered medium well, when it was actually medium to medium rare. My friend next to me for the chicken and it was bleeding, meaning it was poorly cook. I do t expect perfection, but for the very high prices this place charges, I expect something close to it.

The ambience is superb, and the dining experience pleasant. However, the food is a bit average to be priced as high as it is. I might suggest sticking to cheaper menu items such as a hamburger or salad. Worth the visit if you are staying at the resort.

First time ever eating at a "high class" restuarant, it was awful. Meal was $80, steak was literally burnt and my fish had hard chunks of meat where it was not cooked properly... first and last time we will ever be eating there.

Ridiculously long wait for service. Nobody seems to know what they are doing. Too many servers but nobody is serving! Terrible. I went there twice in one week and the second time was worst than the first! The food is not awful.

Awful from beginning to end. Food was less than mediocre, waitress was incredibly inadequate, and the price was ridiculous. Paid $38 for a steak that you can get a better one at Applebees for $12.

Nice decor and area but overpriced. Had the redfish Po boy fish was very small and thin mostly bread. Fries were cold. All for $17. Crab soup was good though.

Although the atmosphere is beautiful, the price is steep. I had the Monte christo that was very good, but $17.00 not. The others in my party felt the same.
