If youre looking for the freshest, fastest, and feasible on your wallet fire oven cooked pizza then you must try Mod Pizza. The setup is very similar to that of chipotle, except the choices are never ending! Toppings, toppings, and toppings oh my! Anyone is sure to find their perfect pizza here and its also done all right in front of you. Cant decide on what to get because of all the topping choices? Then choose from the many unique specialty pizzas on their menu. To top it off the staff is super friendly. Mod Pizza stands out from other pizza joints because of their huge selection of fresh and healthy options for your pizza, the use of a traditional flame burning pizza oven (wood burning would be even better but this is a great start), and their prices. The business model is very attractive and will succeed. Great job guys keep it up!

I was at the Naperville location on Saturday afternoon. I thought the food was not bad and might go back again. Not sure. the reason is I am not sure what their FOOD SAFETY practices are. But today they were pretty lax. Also, no one wore a name tag so we had no idea if there was a manager on duty. When i asked for the store managers name the person said sure Ill get you his card. Not a word about is there something I can help you with. Very curious. My problem was that when the girl came out with about 4 or 5 large plastic containers to "refill" the pans on their line, she didnt change the pans she just put the new product on top of the old product. This is very much against food Safety. Everything should be rotated each time new product is brought out to the line.

This review is for the Northbrook location. Its barely worth it. If youre going for the pizza, its kind of inventive, and fresh. But the menu is confusing, and its kind of overpriced. I ended up with a $10.00 pizza salad. Which was only a mixed green salad, and a fresh baked piece of flat bread ($ ?) If youre going for the atmosphere, its a small place, and it varies with the crowd. The place is populated either by some of the most ill mannered teen age girls you can imagine. ( I think theyre part of larger the local Police family set- meaning mortgage broke and end of the line) I guess they dont get out much, in Northbrook. Anyway, I was disappointed, and looking forward to it, as an alternate to Jewel Deli. Shouldve saved the $5.00 bucks.

The reason I didnt give this place a five star is that I didnt feel appreciated by the woman handing me the pizza. She seemed careless and didnt even bother making casual talk or even eye contact. The chefs or the guy making the pizza is always super nice, explaining the product and recommending his choices as any good chef will do. The vibe is great with lots of young people and the pizza is to die for since they use an actual brick oven, unlike other american pizza places. I went here on my bday and accidentally ordered the large size but the guys were so nice as to let me eat for free, without even knowing my bday. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a lunch spot.

Ordered online. Showed up at the store at the time the website said it would be ready. The employee at the cash register told me it was in the oven and they would call my name when it was ready. Half an hour later I asked to speak to a manager and was directed to a "captain" who told me my pizzas had been sitting there waiting. No one ever called my name. The pies are good and members of my family are Gluten and Dairy free which MOD can accommodate. Just do yourself a favor and dont order via the internet.

My boyfriend and I happened to stumble upon this true delight, as we looked for another restaurant all together different. We were curious about it enough to park up and go in. Boy, am I glad that we did! What a fabulous way to have a pizza. We couldnt get over the list of toppings to choose from. It was brought to us in remarkable time, and the guys working were totally cool. Well done. Cant wait for our next trip! Oh yes, some very good, cold beer!

Had I not been to a Blaze Pizza, I would have thought this place was amazing. A make your own pizza place with unlimited toppings is great idea. I even like that they had mini pizza option that would be perfect. What I didnt like is they burnt my pizza crust, and it wasnt like it was accidental. Every pizza I saw come out of the oven had a black crust. In fact, from eating it, it would be hard for it not to be with the thickness of their crust.

I recently became a vegan and have been craving pizza TERRIBLY. I heard through the grape vine that MOD had vegan cheese and sure enough they do!! A lot of places will charge you extra for it but not this one! As many toppings as you want for a low price. Tons of veggie options and great customer service too! Will be coming back thats for sure!

This place is a show-stopper. The variety is unbeatable and there is something for everyone because you decide all of the toppings. The prices are fair, the staff is friendly, the food is delicious. I visited during some pretty busy hours and I received my food in about 15 minutes which was impressive. Well worth the visit.

Friendly staff and quick service and food. Easily create any pizza you want with toppings and sauces. Sizes range from mini to large. The mini which seemed to be perfect for just one person. Great place for food right after a movie or anytime. I highly recommend it.

I loved my pizza! With my dietary restrictions, eating at restaurants is difficult. I ordered a gluten free pizza (tapioca crust), dairy free (Daiya) pizza. They used garlic rub instead of tomato sauce. I was very excited to have pizza again! So far its very good.

You cant beat the price and the food is great. Add all of the toppings you want. They even have gluten free dough (thats not for me but for those interested they have it.). They are super fast and friendly. Good atmosphere for an evening with the family.

Fantastic! First time here my pizza burned some on the crust and I had a fresh replacement in minutes without asking. Amazing friendly service, and the pizza was fantastic. Also there blackberry lemonade is really good. I will be back often!

The general manager is amazing! She helped me one time like a year ago however she has always remembered my name and gave me a personal greeting upon entering the store. The food is always great! Highly recommend MOD Pizza!!

The staff was super friendly and it was a nice chill atmosphere. The pizza was thin crust and delicious! Reminiscent of NY style pizza. Will definitely be going back again when I have a NY pizza craving!

Great pizza. Worth the drive from the far western edge of Joliet. Great staff. Very fair prices for what you get. Very fast service. Ask for light bake if a dark crust bothers you.
