I just had a wonderful party at the Kelsey Road House. It was for my son and daughter’s graduation. We had thirty people present for our party. The restaurant did an outstanding job of providing this option for us. The food was excellent and plentiful. The service was wonderful. Our waitress did a splendid job of serving us. She did it with a very professional style and friendly warm attitude. The children thought it was fun to enter a “castle”. The adults were able to visit with one another at the party tables while the staff busied themselves with food preparations. My husband and I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the helpful staff and owner, reasonable prices, and the excellent and plentiful food. If you haven’t been to the Kelsey Road House, I suggest you stop by and pay them a visit. You will enjoy the food with ample choices and variety. The first time my husband and I were there, we tried the mushroom soup for a first course. My husband still talks about how wonderful it is and I definitely must agree. Another favorite of his was the filet mignon wrap on honey wheat. I think many of their choices are interesting

Sadly Unfriendly.... we wanted to bring a small group (about 12 people) of cubscouts (ages 6-7) here to have pizza for our cubscout meeting. Our usual location was closed. We asked if we could use their small semi-private room on a Monday 5:30-7:00. The reason we wanted this was simply to be able to have our usual "meeting" stuff... say the pledge of alegiance, hand out badges, talk about old and new business.... and then enjoy our pizza together. The room was not booked. They admitted that it was not a busy night or time for them. And yet they were inflexible about the $300 minimum! The room is not even actually private, its just sort of set back near the kitchen so there was no extra expense to them. I politely pointed out that wouldnt it be better (for them) to be a little flexible and have our business than to not have our business at all.... apparantely not. They just said "thats our policy". Sad... Its not even about the money for me (or them apparantely)... its just seems that no one is willing to make a kind gesture anymore. Even for a group of young boys who would have been more than grateful.

Love the new addition on the porch of the overhead garage doors for the open air experience. Also really like the chairs and tables painted in all the fun Florida type colors especially on the outdoor tables to catch attention from traffic on Route 14. The pelican graphics on the walls are really cute too, in general its become a cute porch. All they need now is a few lit up palm trees to really catch attention on 14. We also had a great server and the food was good. The decor inside is more pub feeling with cute boxer dog posters. I do love the beer garden and wish that it was in use. Dont let the medieval, castle looking building fool you, check it out.

This place has the worse customer service ever! After they screwed up an order, the manager basically told me to get over it and he didnt care if I was going to write a bad yelp review. This was after we paid a tab of $250.00 - its unfortunate that somehow a mediocre bar in the northwest suburbs has decided that because they get busy during the holidays that they will treat their customers like they do not matter. Plenty of other places to eat so stay away!!!!!

Terrible... burned pizza, warm beer, and a waitress with so much perfume on, it made you physically sick to your stomach. And they will not do separate checks, so they can add a gratuity to your bill. The waitress actually would have gotten more of a tip by giving us separate bills. We put the extra money back into our pockets, and will NEVER be back to this establishment...EVER! Thanks for the lesson KRH!

This place just isnt what it used to be back in the day. Their menu is to big which means they have to keep more product on hand. They dont seem to be doing the amount of business that would allow them to keep freash product on hand. I havent had the pizza in awhile so I cant comment on that. They seem to use the mirowave for alot of the food. The French Onion soup is still great!

Kelsey Road House used to be the place to be, not so much anymore. They were understaffed on Fathers day, only two servers in the entire restraunt, which is huge now, and our food took forever to get,, some of which was cold when it arrived. The menu is too BIG. The food is just o.k. and as such is overpriced. It could be so much better with the right mamagment.

Friday Night Fish Fry, "all you can eat" meal comes with fish and one side, coleslaw or fries, not both. When ordering more fish, thats all that is brought. You must pay extra for seconds on sides even though the meal is advertised "All you can eat". Greasy, tough cod, coleslaw good, no bread basket. Also, no separate checks, Party of two! How hard can it be?

Chicken and biscuits good. But not the same as the fried chicken they have had in the past. That was a really treat. French onion soup is awesome. And always love the decor of the place upstairs or downstairs. Please, please bring that fried chicken with the honey in the breading back, to die for!!!!

Even though they no longer serve Ginos, this is as close to the original recipe that made their former Rolling Meadows location a hot spot before Meijer walked in and cannibalized the entire area. Their burgers a good, but rather unorthodox in that instead of a bun, its between two slices of rye bread.

Terrible rude and nasty staff. I called and made a reservation yesterday for 9pm so my 13 and 16 year old daughters could see their decorations. When I walked in tonight after Christmas service at church Kelsey staff denied they took the reservation and turned me away. Never coming back!

OMG I love this place and its a perfect place to bring my dog! This restaurant has an outside patio that is dog friendly ! I hate leaving my dog at home whenever I go out for dinner this place is perfect to bring my dog and order him his own meal off the doggie menu.

My fiance and I stopped by there, because we have always enjoyed it. When I went to step out of the car, the front walk was all icy. NOT SALTED OR SHOVELED. Easy to slip on. If I was a suing person I would have. VERY dangerous!!!!! Not coming back.

Great Place! Its more of a mom and pop, but thats in a good way. The food is wonderful, the kinda pizza you can only get in the city, and Its right here! Awesome decor, the patio and the basement are the best places to sit. Come in for fun and food.

I dont know who handles things in the evening, but afternoons are lacking in service. 2/2/16 lady couldnt fill draft beers for six. Texting away tho. Sass on the phone for ordering deep dish ahead of arrival. Two thumbs down for service.
