Organization is wierd. When I did find the location of items I was looking for there was a very limited selection and only three of one of them, every other item being blank. I was getting something for a friend with UTI so it isnt like there should be a run on this category. Checking out with a few items took forever since one item Tang up very wrong. Getting assistance took forever so the machine locked and the associate just came running over to unlock it, never giving a chance to question why I triggered the call button. When she finally came back again she rescanned the item, said thats strange and offered 10% off. Not scci since the real price was less than half of what this rang up as. I have up. So, this location had pricing errors, lack of selection, check out issues, lack of stock. This is not what s Meijers should be and not what the other locations are.

This is the worst Meijer store Ive ever been in. I find everything Im looking for only about 40% of the time go there. They really could take a lesson form the Brown Road store, which I often go out of my way to go to. In many casses you have to buy the store brand because they dont carry the name brands. the whole store is poorly stocked. The pharmacy section carries enogh Bayer Low Dose to sink a battleship but you wont find the Bayer Back and Body (the one thing that works well), also you wont fine Renalds wax paper, you have to buy the "Meijer brand" brand wich is despite all arguments is inferior to the name brand. In addition to these experiences I find deficiencies in sporting goods and automotive departments.

If you live in Oxford, this store is just - convenient. I lived there before there was a Meijer and it was sad to see the rural atmosphere morph into sprawl but I have to admit that if one finds themselves in need of almost anything its really nice having it there. On my way up to visit a parent for their birthday - stop in and get a last-minute card and gift. Need gas? - pull in to the gas station part. Visiting said parents on a holiday, making a meal and find were missing an ingredient - swing on over. Its a Meijer - the only thing I have to distinguish it from other Meijer stores is its convenience to me. There isnt any glaring deficiencies to mark it as a "bad" Meijer.

This store has some pretty good deals. Their biggest problem is customer service. Which leaves much to be desired. There is never enough cashiers and some are rude But , they have a hard time keeping employees. My guess is they probaby need to pay them more. But who knows. I only shop there because its closest to my home. I prefer Costco and Target. Sometimes Sams club. But for things that I cant get at the other stores , Im stuck going to Meijers. I wish Krogers would come into the area.

What used to be a good store has dropped.returnables area was almost as bad as the smelly mostly inoperable equipment. A remodeled store has lost its gleam, looking dowdy. After remodeling I have difficulty finding things but Ill take part of the blame since my usual logical brain seems to not follow theirs when I enter the store. Maybe if we had any competition nearby thered be motivation to do better. But their gas prices are good for the area.

New system and maybe its cuz I was tired but the cashier rang me up so fast and bag my stuff gave me a total I inserted my card totally forgot about Mperks because its usually staring at you in the face or the cashier always says do you have any coupons or Mperks. Im sad cuz I had $5 in rewards and $3 in coupons that I didnt get to use.

The cashier at the u-scan did not like it when I wanted to keep an item that had a UPC barcode on it. I had to walk back to get another one with the UPC on it during theyre busy time she wanted me to keep the one without the UPC barcode on it. There is a lot of attitude during my way. I apologize to the cashier

I love shopping at Meijer stores, but this store seems unorganized to me. They also do not carry many items that other Meijer stores would carry. I normally shop at the Auburn Hills location, however, this location is much closer to where I stay in Lake Orion so I shop here for the convenience of its location.

Ive been shopping at this Meijer many times now, and I still confirm this is one of my favorite stores to shop! Good service here, and the greeters are nice too. This is definitely one of my two main Meijer stores to shop, Meijer #177 at 26 Mile Rd. and Van Dyke Ave. in Washington Township being the other!

Everything you expect of a Meijer, except check out lines are always an issue. They have lots of lanes that could be staffed with a cashier, but they are typically closed. Leaving a few self-check out lines and many closed cashier lines. Usually a wait with impatient people all around you.

Asked a worker to help us find Firestarter for campfires and she was a bit flustered. Took us to kindling and insisted that would work on its own (it didnt). Would have thought that a Meijer so close to Addison Oaks would have more knowledge.

this Meijer location is very nice, it has been recently remodeled, and is kept clean. i stop by here weekly for groceries, and it also has a Huntington bank branch (My Bank) in side, and an ATM outside.

Not sure whats happened, but standing in long lines has become the norm here. Doesnt seem to matter what day or time you go, there are always lines, and tons of cashier stations unmanned.

Very good grocery store good meats, good produce, good Staples, very good Pharmacy. Carries a good variety of auto supplies, housewares, hardware, just about anything one would need.

Theres a "secret shopper" who talks to the employees and never buys anything. She follows you around the store to make sure your not stealing but its uncomfortable

They have a dead bird in there garden section that they trapped and killed, and they probably dont even care. You just stare at it and watch it die.

Very good on returns have never had a problem. Even had a defective electronic item that was way over the return policy date and they exchanged it.
