The food is great asha is a great chef. The customer service with dawn is horrible. She should be fired. She has threatened to fight me because I addressed her serving food angry. You cant feed the soul angrily. I reported it to the owner Nancy she has not changed/addressed the situation. Tonight I order white rice and oxtail gravy it was cold and tasted sour. I went back and asked for just a mini rice and peas and Dawn had to call the manager/owner Nancy. For $3.21 its no need to call the owner. Its called customer service. Nancy your sales will continue decreasing until you address the dawn situation. She is havoc to your business. Its business over friendship. From one business owner to another.

HORRIBLE!!! Theres an African girl lying about being the manager. They messed up my order and didnt see that they gave me a chicken patty until I got in my car. Went back to wait online until the food was cold and when I asked for a refund because they now made me late to work, They refused to give me a refund after spending hundreds of dollars there. NOT to mention I notice that the rice is like the plastic Chinese rice and the bathroom is always dirty. The new owner of this building needs to fire everybody except for the young girl with glasses and Ahsha the dred chef. The chef if the only reason I would not continue to spread a bad word because thats how he pays his bills.

On Sunday 12/18/16 mid evening. I, visited Fireside (Jonesboro, GA) and ordered 1 medium oxtail dinner and 1 large oxtail dinner with peas and rice, with extra cabbage also 1 beef patty. Pros- Portions we large. Staff was pleasant Service time was between 5-6 minutes Beef patty was warm and decent tasting. Cons- Food was COLD!! Cabbage was HARD! (Undercooked) Oxtails was flavorless. $23.00 thrown in the trash. I called the business with my complaint and was told they would check the temperature of the steam table. ?? Food should be temped every 45 minutes. My suggestion keep hot foods hot and cold foods cold. No Exceptions! Customers-Check your food prior to paying!

While dining in eating there was lots of house flies surrounded my food at my table. Very hot in the restaurant while sitting eating, AC was either extremely low or no AC at all, I was sweating it was very uncomfortable i could not enjoy my food i had to leave out. And last but not least, while I was leaving out I asked a young lady that was working there where is the trash can, she pointed to it showing me it against the wall in the restaurant and it was filty running over with trash and loaded with tons of house flies eating on the trash.

A Caribbean native New Yorker looking for flavorful food and this was it. The curry goat was slightly spicy and to my liking. Love that there are many options to make your plate. Curry was rich and savory and not a curry lite like Jamaican Taste further up on Tara blvd. Rice is moist and made with coconut like my mom makes. This is back home food that southerners probably wont understand, but thats what makes it good.

Just called to ask for pricing as the prices arent available online. The woman who answered the phone was INCREDIBLY rude! That is NOT how you handle a call, if this establishment cares to flourish "train" the person you have working upfront. I was needing to make a very large order, and based on other reviews I was hoping this would be a good first experience. I will be taking my money somewhere else.

This place has really good food and its fresh. Its in the same spot as Devine Flava was. Id give them five stars but there isnt as much love in theirs. Theres lots of variety and you can see what youre getting. Good size portions and a good selection of deserts. Rum cake is so moist. Curry goat is spicy, tender and very flavorful.

Really nice people! Great food, love the cabbage, Ive had a little of everything. Jerk wings are really hot, be careful. Enjoy! (A lot of previous reviews say the cabbage is undercooked. Yes, there is a crunch, but its not hard or undercooked. They just dont cook the life out of their vegetables like some people are used to.)

My son and I wanted ackee & starfish this morning and this by far was the most freshly cooked food Ive eating in a long time. Reminds me of my grandmother cooking the first trip I visited JA. We will definitely return. Also the Customer-service was exceptional.

Served canned or frozen mixed vegetables as a side. I called to complain and was told that their vegetables are always cooked fresh. I know that greenbeans, corn, carrots mixed in cut in small cubes are definitely from the can or frozen vegetables!

Great place to eat. The food is like taking a plane to the richest parts of Jamaica and having food that was cooked for the KING himself. Mr Moore is the best cook in Atlanta and makes this Fireside THE go to Jamaican eatery!!!2 Thumbs Up!

Tried this restaurant 3 times the food was undercook oxtail and cabbage was tasteless extremely salted no flavour and the rice was as hard as a rock Prices already went up since they first opened Wont be going back money in the trash

Today was my first time coming to Fireside! The staff was so friendly and polite! I had the jerk chicken and rice and beans!!!! Amazing! The jerk chicken gravy was spicy but I loved it! I will definitely be back!

My dad wanted to go to Golden Corral for his Fathers Day dinner. Luckily the line was out the door so we had to go to Fireside. We both loved our food! Waaaaaay better than the Corral.

I had the goat meat that was good... but the rest of the stuff was dry and hard cabbage and plantain... the rice was cooked perfectly but give them a try you may like it.

Jerk chicken was a little dry and too spicy to enjoy. I usually love Caribbean style cabbage but this one not so much. Plantains & rice and peas were good though.
