My family and I have gone to this restaurant since it opened and has always loved the food and service. Today, 2/25/16 was a little disappointing. I did hear an employee say they were short staffed today and I truly understand that. I had ordered the steak tips, asked for Med Well, some pieces were, some were Well done, some were Med Rare. The server Kyle was great, although I did ask for a dessert/cake for my Grandsons 4th Birthday, the cake was brought over and just left on the table, my daughter and I had told him (Kyle) who it was for and we have in the past had Happy Birthday sung to whom ever birthday it was, so we were disappointed this wasnt done, he was so excited this was going to happen so we sang to him.

Food and service are always very good. I cant give a five star rating because the music is horrendous. Its always way too loud. I usually ask if they can turn it down a little but am just tired of having to do that. I feel it should be in the background so you can have a conversation with the person sitting across from you. Last time I asked to be moved from under the speaker... Today I asked ahead of time to sit in a specific area.... Sigh... Please do something about the music!

Never had a problem with them. Their business policies literally drove me out the door and I wont go back. No fault of any employee; the food being bad; nothing like that - just their policies. For example: They do not allow their bartenders to pour tall drinks. So you keep paying for the small glasses of any particular mixed drink. I have never heard of any other establishment that does this. But thankfully those other establishments welcome me into their bar and take my money.

Consistent, good food and good price. Perfect for when you cant decide where to go. And if you go to the bar, I hope you have April tending to you. She always remembers us, and is so friendly and easy to chat with! I was feeling a little sad today but she really turned my mood around. Thanks, April!

Didnt expect much from this place, but the chowder was phenomenal. We also enjoyed the boneless buffalo wing appetizer. Finally, the hot lobster roll was great. Portions were a bit small; I left still a bit hungry. Unexpectedly good food. Ill be back.

Only one person serving. Had to wait a very long time for everything we ordered. They told me it would be the same price for a regular burger instead of a turkey burger and then charged me more for the regular burger.

99 is usually consistent from one location to another, but in this case I found the baked stuffed haddock failed the haddock taste test...it tasted like Scup. I know Scup because I catch and eat Scup often.

Once again, a MUST stop when in the area. Service is beyond exemplary. Prices are more than sweet. Food is so much better than the other food/bar chains. I just wish I lived closer; Id be here every day...

Friendly and welcoming. The Vermont burger or the steak and cheese flatbread are two of my favorites. Excellent service and perfect medium rare burger every time.

Just went to the Tilton 99, my husband ordered ribs, I ordered country fried chicken, we are both very sick now, from food poisoning. Never going back.
