UNLIMITED PICKLES! They are good! The burnt ends are one of the best BBQ entrees i have ever had at a bbq location. I couldnt believe the amount of meat on them and the taste. Im definitely going back for these. I also got some brisket...that was a bit drier than I would have liked, but the taste was excellent still. The service was pretty slow waiting for the food to be made, but they are very friendly. The dill potato salad is absolutely amazing. I will be coming back just to have that as an a la carte item. Best potato salad Ive tasted if you like dill flavor. A friend of mine uses them for catering holidays/parties and says it is excellent as well and gets good reviews from his guests. The seating is kind of limited here, which is a bummer. This competes very closes in quality to nearby Real Urban, in my opinion. The burnt ends, pickles and potato salad will keep me coming back. :)

My husband and I just moved to IL from Arkansas we are used to Memphis style BBQ and have been in a dyer search for good down home BBQ.... Today we visited Firewater and saying it met our high standards would be an understatement. We ordered a Pulled pork Bucktown combo with Cajun fries and fried pickles along with a two meat combo (pulled pork and brisket). The meat alone was extremely tender and smoked PERFECT! The choice of sauces... Everything from Texas heat, Alabama White, Georgia Mustard, Carolina Vinegar, and of course their original Sweet Home Chicago. The original was a big hit to us coming the closest to our Memphis Southern Sweet. Personally I mix the Texas and Original... If youre looking for a good Southern style BBQ in the Chicago land area be sure to come here. Its the best!

Short version: Extremely tasty homemade food all around. Go here. Amazing BBQ. The sauces were good but after trying them I actually prefered to eat my food sauceless because the meat is smoked so well. That is a sign of well done BBQ. The guys working there were polite and you can tell theyre passionate about their craft and you can taste it in the food. We tried the brisket, pulled pork, mac n cheese, beans, garlic fries, and cole slaw. Every item was stellar and I was surprised that their sides were just as impressive as their que. They arent relying on just a few good menu items with other entries being substandard like most places. This is our new BBQ place.

A wonderful western atmosphere with the western music, and the pulled pork is really good! Especially with barbeque sauce! I tried the Sweet Chicago sauce and it still made my nose run and made my mouth water! The other employees are really kind and super enthusiastic! If youre looking for a place to eat great barbeque, or if youre just really hungry for lunch either while taking a walk/riding your bike/shopping/etc, stop by Firewater BBQ and eat delicious and mouth watering BBQ!

This place is amazing. Went there today with my husband and he had the beef brisket sandwich and I had the pulled pork. Very good smoked well and the choices of BBQ sauces are the best. I recommend the Georgia mustard sauce good on the pulled pork had the garlic fries. The best part of this visit hands down is the customer service the guys behind the counter make you feel at home. This place has that southern downhome feeling. Kudos guys your doing a great job.

Im getting significant and lengthy dental work which entails 2 visits per month, all this inconvenience is mostly ameliorated by amazing BarBQ right next door. This has meant that instead of dread I now look forward to my visits. My family also looks forward to my visits because. Ive been bringing enough BarBQ to have for dinner and a lunch! The food is amazing and consistent, the only complaint is the lack of normal civility from the in store personnel !

Food is great...service is lacking. DO NOT call your order in you either sit on hold because they forget about you or if they did remember to answer the phone they forget to make your food until you show up. Is it worth it? Absolutely! There is very little to dissuade my family from eating here. The sauces are amazing, and you get 2 full size sides with each meal. Lots of food for a good price. One of the best restaurants in the Western Suburbs.

This is my go to BBQ joint; its father from work but worthy of the drive. Wings are *dope* with or w/o rubs 5 stars and they are BIG. Fries are good not amazing 3 star its nice they offer sweet potato fries and rubs. Tripple porker 4.5 star ... so many flavors and textures for one mouth. Pulled pork is a little dry but I like mine w/ sauce so its ok. Fried pickle chip was not good would not get again.

This is the best BBQ around hands down. I come for the BBQ, not so much for the sides. The South Sider is my favorite thing on the menu - a sandwich that has pulled pork aaaand brisket! The sauce is amazing. Perfect combination of smoke, heat and sweetness. If you havent been here before, I highly recommend trying it. Even if its a bit of a drive!

When you first walk through the door and smell the wonderful BBQ scent you know your in for a treat. The food is off the bone GOOD! Excellent staff and a good place to get your BBQ on. Try everything, its the best, but dont take my word for it. Get off your butt and feed that belly something good today. I give this place 5 ☆☆☆☆☆.

Hands down, Firewater is one of the best BBQ I have had in a long time. I had the Triple Porker with the Bacon and Chive potato salad, and the coleslaw. FANTASTIC! The staff was so friendly and made the experience so much better. If you are in the area, be sure to try them out, I am really glad I did!

My wife and I have eaten BBQ all over the central and southern part of the country. Our verdict: BEST BBQ weve ever had! Doc, the manager, was very friendly, and even gave us some complimentary brisket and special sauce to try. This is not fast food, and a little wait is well worth it!

Okay at best. Brisket at in water and took on a sponge effect. They should be ashamed of their mac and cheese...who puts nacho cheese sauce over noodles and tries to pass it off? Also, do takeout; their exhaust fans are way underpowered for the amount of smoke they put out.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and always so much of it in the combo. Only reason not 5 star is one time I got sweet potato fries and they had been salted and sugared. Was not edible but had gotten to go. Would still recommend to everyone

The grill master burger was unexpectedly exceptional. Ground brisket cooked to medium well, topped with pulled pork and thick cut bacon. The smoked wings were delicious. Sides and sauces were above average. Live music (acoustic blues guitarist) on Friday night.

The BBQ here is legit. The sauces are amazing and you get a much better price than your chains ie qbbq. Would highly recommend the brisket sausage and pulled pork. For sides, you cant go wrong with the potato salad and beans!
