There was one guy there named al who owns the business and was a truley nice person who knows how to treat his costumers with the respect they deserve when they go to a restaurant the food was Top Notch best rib tips Ive ever had I will definitely go back anybody that says that the food is not good and that the service is not good in the people are not nice theyre just mad because Joliet finally got a barbecue place better than Chicago sorry but Truth Hurts sometimes the guy is a great guy so when you go in and ask for al and sit down I need some of the best barbecue youll ever eat

Friendly owners, great food. I also love to support the mom and pop places when i can. But, for the joliet area, i was used to baby back blues (which is great bbq), but i was very happy with the quality, and quantity of food here. I had the rib tips, i purchased a tray (about 5 pounds), exactly what i was expecting for taste and quality. They make their own sauce. The hot is awesome, and not too hot. The mild was tastey as well. Give this place a try, you wont regret it.

I came in for some lunch after a long morning of working outside in the heat. Seeing that I was hot and tired, the cook gave me a free can of pop and some snacks to munch on right away while he prepared my lunch. He was extremely friendly, warm, and made me feel right at home. The BBQ is absolutely delicious. Look no further if youre in the area and would like some amazing food and quality service. Thank you, Louisiana Barbecue!

I got a lil hungry googled food around this area and this lil spot popped up.... right when i walked in it smelled soooo good..... let me tell ya the pulled pork is one of the best sandwiches i had by far..... hands down and thumbs up to Louisiana barbecue..... thanks for the great tasty finger licking food

I went there a couple of weeks ago and there was only one guy there. His mood was foul!! And to top it off I wasnt wowed by the food. Next time I want some "real" bbq, I will drive to Chicago. Make sure when you are in a business to serve, you learn how to treat your customers. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Got the full size rib tips they came with fries and Cole slaw. I thought the Cole slaw was small it was in a one ounce container that wasnt full. The ribs were pink and they had more fat than meat somebody said they smoked thats why they pink but thats too much pink and uncooked fat.

Amazing food and wonderful people! A couple that truly takes pride in the food that they serve. My family went for dinner and we had their pulled pork sandwich, beef brisket, and their BJ Burger. All were perfectly moist and tender. We have all already agreed that we will be back!

Very friendly folks and great food - its so popular locally that they sell out of brisket, red beans and rice and ribs quick! Portion sizes were VERY generous - totally value for money - pro tip : unlike other BBQ joints they dont use the smaller wings - check them out!

Food was good location not so nice, also you cant eat inside unless you want to stand. Its pretty much pick up only. No real complaints but dont expect to take someone on a date here. Just a place to grab a quick lunch if youre on the go.

This hole in the wall place features the best BBQ around, period. The owners Al and Theresa are great people and treat everyone like they are family. Every time I get food from there it is consistently the best.
