Potentially great food. I always order a ribeye at every new Resturant I go too. Its kinda my personal gauge. The ribeye was 35 dollars. Broccolini, mash potatoes and the steak. I feel like Im seeing these same side at a lot of places lately. I ordered it medium rare. It came in a reasonable amount of time. The plate was nice and warm and the presentation was good. The steak looked great First off I tasted the broccolini and it was fabulous. It was tasty and somehow infused with a perfect smokiness, best broccolini Ive ever had. The mash potatoes were good but nothing special. Then I cut into my steak. It looked perfectly medium rare. As soon as it hit my mouth though I noticed it was ..... Cold. The mash potatoes and broccolini were perfect and the plate was warm but the steak was cold. I touched other spots on it and it was all the same. I would like to add though that the seasoning / chat tasted spot on. If this steak wasnt cold. It would of been great. I told the server and he took my plate away. A manager returned with my plate. It was noticeably more charred. It was hot now, but it was also not medium rare any more. When the manager returned to ask how it was I explained all this. He apologized and asked me if we need anything. I asked for another drink and he returned with it. At the end of the meal the bill came and nothing was discounted or offered up free. Maybe a drink or something. Nothing. I didnt ask for a discount. But considering the experience I found it a bit odd. Overall I really want to like this place and I want to give it a second chance. That steak had the potential to be great. But I left a tad disgruntled.

Got seated right away, it was around 6-7 on a Thursday night. The server was very nice and all experiences with the staff was positive. So that wasnt the issue, unfortunatly the food was. We ordered the pretzel rolls for an appitizer and while the outsides were warm the centers were ice cold. Dipping sauce was okay, but nothing to write home about. We each had a sandwich. I was happy with mine which was the roasted chicken with pesto aioli, however, my tater tots were over salted. my guy got the briskit sandwich which he said tasted like pot roast slathered in BBQ sauce and with a ton of cole slaw and fried onions. He was also unhappy with his french fries as they were limp and cold. Our third person ordered the carolina BBQ and only ate half because she didnt really like it. Overall we were incredibly disappointed and wont be coming back. we spent $60 on a meal that was something I would maybe just pay $30 for. Too many corners cut and there was not many other tables filled, maybe 5 more groups then us in the whole resturant, there is no excuse for the poor quality and treatment of the food. I recommend Granite City just 5 minutes away if you want something nearly exactly the same but far superior quality and near identical prices.

Went in for lunch with a friend, it wasnt crowded at all. I believe they recently had a soft opening so its not well known yet. The cheese curds were recommended to us as a starter by our waiter, they were delicious. They had a different breading than what I was typically used to but the cheese and the breading had great flavor. It was a large portion too, easily enough for 3-4 people to share. We ordered the Electric Lemonade and Harvest Apple cocktails, both great. If I had to order again, I would choose the Harvest Apple... It was basically an Autumn/winter in a cup type of cocktail, very balanced and not too spicy. I ordered their Carolina Pulled Pork entree, and although it tasted okay, it definitely had too much BBQ sauce on it. It looked like a sloppy Joe and tasted similar to a McRib (last time I had one was maybe 18 years ago). Highlight the meat, dont smother it in a sauce. I think it would taste better if it were on the side or at least halved in its amount. I sampled my friends rainbow trout and I thought it was a great dish. For dessert we ordered the peach blackberry cobbler, and I would definitely order it again.

We dined at Kinfork last night and overall had a great time. Our server, Cassandra, was very nice and attentive, and our food arrived fast and hot. We got the hush puppies as an appetizer and they were really good (although it says theres jalapenos in them, I tasted no heat at all which was fine by me but might bother someone that likes spicy). My boyfriend had the smoked wings which were really good and the white bbq was a great addition. I had the grilled cheese with tots. My sandwich is supposed to have a couple types of cheese, with pot roast, spinach and tomato. My problem was, there was so little pot roast it couldnt even be considered a garnish. Couldnt taste it. We let Cassandra know and she bought out a side of pot roast in no time and said they were working on fixing that since they had a couple other complaints that same day. Tots could use salt too. And so, this would be 5 stars if it werent for the obvious fast one pulled with the sandwich. But service made up for it and theres enough interesting dishes that well definitely be coming back.

I was nervous about coming here after reading the reviews but from my visit, I have no complaints about this place(I know they are new so the bad reviews could have been the growing pains). We went here today, a Saturday evening during Schaumburg restaurant week and had no problems with the service. The only thing is maybe that the drinks took a bit longer than expected to come out. The menu was reasonably priced and had a variety of non red meat options(several types of fish and salads and vegetables). I ordered the Carolina Pulled Pork and it was really good. You also get a lot a food for your payment, mine came with coleslaw, cornbread, a baked potato and texas toast on which my meat was on top of, I also had a side of broccolini which was $2 extra. I dont eat red meat a lot but I still want to go back there(I also tried a friends order of bass and that was excellent).

After a long and hectic day I stopped in here for lunch with my daughters and was served by a pleasant young lady by the name of Sarah. I was having a pretty bad day and was just not in the mood to conversate but Sarahs positive energy quickly changed that. She recommended the burnt ends and oh my gosh they are to die for. Sarah also engaged with my 2 young daughters who were quite hyper and actually informed me of your free sundae bar for the kids. Sarahs upbeat personality and kind heart certainly radiated thru her service. I will be returning soon and will request Sarah. Your food is amazing but your waitress made for a wonderful experience :) keep It up Kinfork!

First the menu shown on Google maps is incorrect, but that is not the basis of this review. I visited on a Tuesday evening and they were not busy. I was seated immediately. I ordered the ribs and chicken. Unfortunately the ribs were over sauced and very salty (and I like salt). The chicken was dry. The cornbread was good. Im not sure what my waitress had going on, but it didnt involve servicing my table or even walking by. I had to ask the gentleman that brought my food for more water, and later he came by to clear the table and had to ask him for the check. Too bad, other reviewers had a better experience, but for me they struck out on both food and service.
