The food choices are great BUT I lost my appetite when I saw unsupervised children with their dirty hands into the food and running around. I thought the chocolate fountain would be a fun experience until I saw the kids putting their fingers in it and licking them and putting them back into the fountain. Food that was obviously bitten into stuck in the fountain. THAT was sickening and gross. Rude people were pushing and shoving...no manners or care for anyone else. I guess that comes with the trashy types that come there. The floor was dirty and so were the tables IF you could FIND one that was empty. The bathroom was the most horrid sickening thing I have ever seen. I got sick just walking in there.That was my first experience. The second time I went here I couldnt even get into the door it was so crowded. I just couldnt stomach the thought of trying to fight my way to the food, trying to find a table let alone a CLEAN one. Dirty floor and dirty counters where people had spilled food. Such a shame this place has run down. You folks need to get the children under control. Nothing more disgusting than ill mannered kids with dirty hands into the food and parents who dont give a damn about their kids or anyone else. You lose business that way. Thought I would try breakfast one day but to me its 2 strikes and youre out.

I went tonight with my daughters. From the entrance to the table all I saw was dirty tables, dirty dishes, and dirty floors. We set our drinks on one of the few clean tables and I went to the restroom to wash my hands before eating. The entrance before the restroom was filthy. Someone had just thrown up their dinner in that area too, so I was eager to step over that to get though the restroom doors. I wish I had just walked out the restaurant then but I didnt. The bathroom was more filthy then any Ive seen in a long time. Part and parcel to a roadside gas station restroom. Four stalls, the one "clean" one had no toilet paper. The others had toilet paper all over, open period pads with blood, water around the base of the stool, I hope it was water, and just general filth. Needless to say I had seen enough. I went to where my daughters were standing to get food and could see the visible food all over the floor, even behind the counters where the cooking staff stood. I contacted management and they returned my money without incident. I didnt get the chance to try the food, but I wasnt about to let us eat from there. We traveled 40 minutes to get there and had to leave and go some where else. Its a shame that they take such little pride in cleaning a place where families eat. I wont ever be back.

My first time here was crazy. The food and staff were great. The problem with this place is the people that go there from the surrounding area. You have all the trashy people go here from Waukegan and let their kids run all crazy. Parents dont watch their kids. I had three kids just lean up on our table and at one point hair all over my plate. The parents did not even acknowledge it or apologize. They run all to the desserts and eat their desserts right as they finish covering it in chocolate. Kids playing at the soft serve machine and no parent in sight. People cut lines while you have been there waiting for 15-30 minutes. You also have the people from Key Lime Cove / gurney mills show up there so it gets even more crowded. PARENTS: We all pay good money to enjoy a meal. CONTROL your kids or STAY HOME! Management: please figure out a more effective way to have a line for the steaks where theyre not blocking the rest of the food around there. I had people wanting to nearly kill me because they thought I was jumping in front of the line when all I wanted was veggies and mashed potatoes.

This place is FILTHY!!!!!!! From the floor to the tables to the serving trays to the bathrooms.....FILTHY!! The table had just been wiped off before we sat down and it was still sticky, the filthy rag used wouldnt have cleaned much. There were peices of food dropped all over the floor and the employee walking around sweeping was barely sweeping up any of it. My son chose the place for his birthday celebration so we suffered through it by being careful to eat from trays that had just been brought out. Children are always unattended and employees say nothing to them, I saw young children eating off the serving silverware at the buffet, dipping food into the chocolate fountain taking a bite and dipping it back in the chocolate.....I even saw a child taking bites of desserts and putting them back. The bathrooms are the worst. Customers throw away used toilet paper into overflowing garbage cans. The smell is unbearable. I left to go to a nearby hotel to use the facilities. This place has gone downhill fast!

The service was alright until I noticed the waitresses were rude n pushing their way thru without using their manners. Then their is food all over the floors which they should have a designated person to continuously b on the floor keeping up with keeping the floor clean. Also the bathrooms were absolutely horrible. I asked the manager lady if she was going to have someone clean them. She replied with a no why. I said these are discusting, tampons on the floor, toilet paper built up soon much behind the toilets, poop on the seat of the toilet, and the counters were filled with water everywhere. For all the staff they have their, there should be a designated person continuously checking and cleaning them every half hour especially when u have that large amounts of people in and out of this place. Time management and cleanliness is a BIG factor needed in this place. If I were to call the health department they would be closed till they got everything at top notch.

We went to this place around 11 a.m. when they opened expecting everything to be warm and fresh since its the beginning of the day. When we got there we were immediately helped since there werent a lot of people there. The food was very bland and somewhat warm. The rotisserie chicken was hard and dry, definetely not from the day it was being served. The rolls were ok, not great. I wanted to give this place a fair chance so I ate a little bit of everything and thats why I give it 3 stars. It was hit or miss with all the dishes served there. I got dessert and while the pudding had great texture, it was fat free and sweetened with splenda, I hate splenda so I couldnt eat it. All in all, i would not go back. I liked their fried chicken but I can get better at Popeyes or make it at home.

I appreciate that this location was very busy the day that my family visited. This means that anyone reading my review should keep that in mind. There appeared to be a management issue at this location. There was one manager going around talking to all the employees and reminding them he was on break. He would walk up to the employee running the grill and cut off a customer just to joke around with that employee. This manager continued to bounce around while the employees that were on the clock did the best they could to handle the busy meal time. The minimal support the employees received from management can be demonstrated by the prime rib station that night. There was no one to work that station and despite going to the special for prime rib, you couldnt get a slice.
