I had the Buiscuts and Gravy. It was really great aside from the buiscuts were dry and crumbly, not moist. Kindof like someones first attempt at it making buiscuits. The chorizo cream gravy was amazing. It came with scrambled eggs on it instead but ordered mine sunny side up, the waiter said it was better that way after ordering (made more sense to me than scrambled). The potatoes were pretty awesome, perfect infact. The "southern ham was not southern ham, or atleast not a good southern ham, however as far as ham goes it was good. My girlfriend ordered the Wallon and only came with one super thin pannekoek, very thin like a crepe and not eggy enough and too dry to be a true pannekoen. Perhaps the prosciutto makes up for the cost but overall it would leave one unfilled and hungry as a meal and even being from Chicago $14 is too much for it to be left hungry. Worth about $9, if the pannekoek was better and had two stacked. I will never go back to this resturant because of this, I was finished with my buiscuts and gravy but finishign up the potatoes, I liked them so much I saved some to eat at the end. I was about 2/3 done with them and talking with my GF looking at her and turned back around and my plate was gone, never asked if I was finished. When I asked him about it he just acted like "well darn, that suck" (attitude given not actual words) and then made things ackward and walked away, perhaps knowing I wouldnt make a deal about it given present company with me (three other people) The manager came over later and asked if he could get me anything else to eat as we were all standing up, coats on ready to walk out the door. (Pretty sure a round of filet mignon woulnt have even been appropriate but offering to get a coffee to go for us would have fixed the situation in a second)

Horrible service and horrible (overpriced and under portioned) food. Its pretty sad when we leave hungry, wishing we hadnt tried a new restaurant. My mom, sister and niece were here today around 3:30/4pm. I ordered the Pesto "noodles", my mom a burger, my sister the Bacon wrapped meatloaf, and my niece the kids mac and cheese. I will list my problems for your reading convenience, because there are so many. Firstly, our waitress was short with us and not very friendly to begin with. 1. Our food was brought out, and my sister found her meatloaf to be VERY undercooked. Not okay for ground beef! 2. My moms burger had literally nothing on it. No cheese, nothing. Just the patty and the bun. 3. My brioche with my meal was hard as a rock and was impossible to eat 4. My nieces mac and cheese was very overcooked and was complete mush. All of this and our waitress is nowhere to be found. We were not checked in on once. Not once to express our dissatisfaction and ask for something else. We ate and only when we were finished for some time, she came back and collected our plates, not even asking if everything was okay. She only asked if we wanted anything else, like dessert. We tipped her 10% and left. We were always friendly and nice, however we were obviously unsatisfied when she did not come back until she collected our plates and (with food still on them) she did not pick up on our unhappiness. We didnt say a word, so Im wondering if she simply was oblivious or was pretending not to notice so she didnt have to deal with unhappy customers. We were not told any sort of "goodbye", "thank you", or "come again" as we left even though we passed several employees at the front desk.

Just Stay Away. The food is awful. Not joking. Its awful, and ridiculously over priced. The staff also had no idea what was going on. we had a server for 10-15 min. then she said she was "being relocated." and we got a different server then another server brought us our drinks and didnt ask if we were ready to order finally our server came, took our entree order and we reminded him twice about the appetizer appetizer never came Our salads came BEFORE our appetizer with no dressing on them or on the side he said "the dressing comes on the side" to which I said: "we have no dressings at all. On the salad or on the side." The salads didnt include half the toppings described on the menu they forgot our appetizer and after 10 min. of us eating our salads he asked "are you sure you didnt get it? are you sure it wasnt sent to this table (while pointing to the empty table next to us.) then we got it 25 min. later after asking yet another clueless server if the mussels he had in his hands were ours because he didnt know what table had ordered them... and they were overcooked and disgusting tasting. (Not exaggerating) They tasted gross. Bottom line: we paid $60 for two drinks, two really awful salads and a mussels appetizer (they took the app off) also the waitstaff was clueless. Not rude, just clueless. Seriously, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!: go to St. Paul Fish Company in the Public Market or Wicked hop (both across the street and very yummy.) I cant believe this place is in business. Cool looking place, terrible food and bad staff.

Went to this location with a large group. When the food was being delivered, our waitress attempted to reach the plate over my head and hit me in the face with the plate. This resulted in immediate bleeding at the base of my nose and later bruising and swelling. After this happened, the waitress just said, “He turned into it,” and walked away without apologizing. I figured a supervisor would come check on me, but no supervisor until I went and found one (after getting the bleeding to stop). The supervisor had me leave my information, and I figured a general manger would call me the following day and at least say sorry. Three days later, no call. Felt like they really didn’t care they injured someone at their restaurant. And who reaches a plate over someone’s head like that when they are looking the other way? At least say excuse me or something!

Great rooftop patio with a nice view. The layout of the restaurant and atmosphere is really nice as well. The waitstaff is a different story however. They forgot items we had asked for numerous times, along with forgetting one persons entire entree. They insisted that they didnt forget however and they were just "waiting on the kitchen" but it seemed odd to bring out all the other entrees (we had a party of 10 and they brought 9 of them) without a mention as to where the other one was, until we asked 5 minutes later. It finally arrived after another 5 minutes, so everyones food was sitting there for 10 minutes - not the best experience and they werent too friendly about it. Food was mediocre. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. The bloodys were decent but Id walk across the street and get one from The Wicked Hop being that close.

Ive been to this restaurant twice and Ive been amazed both times. They have an amazing list of different types of beers that is over 20 pages long! Each entree has a drink paring suggestion. And they are vegetarian friendly. Ive had their mac n cheese where their cheese sauce was made out of goat cheese and brie among other cheeses. They also had an entree called pesto squash “noodles” which was amazing. They cut up vegetables in the shape of curly noodles and cooked it with what I can only assume to be homemade pesto and topped with shredded Parmesan and so much more (mushrooms, walnuts, and other veggies). This isnt for everyone since its basically entirely vegetables, but the taste is phenomenal. I hope to come here again soon for another amazing meal.
