Holy cow. I think I am violently sick now. This is the second review I wrote, and reliving the experience is terrible. The reason I am writing any review is because we read nothing but good reviews, that is why we ate at the Oak Creek Diner. But.... we had an awful experience. There is no excuse for the way we were treated and the disgusting food that was served. It was atrocious. The food was slathered in butter, no seasoning, and the meet was gamy, yes they were quick, and yes they were cheap, but it was not worth going back again. The red flag should have been the food floating in the water and the leftovers on the utensils. It was not the only discern, but our waitress obviously did not want to be at work, and she did not want to serve us. She was unfriendly, I hope she was just having a bad day, but it is unfortunate because we will never be back. Very disgusted and disappointed.

I just came from New York City where there is alot of great food. I got stuck in Milwaukee on a over night lay over, and wanted some food the following morning. I found Oak Creek Diner on google maps and decided to give it a try. I was immediately greeted when i walked in the door. Within 10 minutes of walking in the door i got some coffee, my food was ordered, a refill on my coffee, and my food already brought to the table. The food was amazing, very well priced, and the diner had amazing service. If i am ever stuck on an over night lay over in Milwaukee, I will definitely be back to Oak Creek Diner, and to those who work at Oak Creek Diner, keep up the amazing service.

This will be my new breakfast spot when staying near the airport. The staff, service, and food was all great and it came out surprisingly fast. I ordered my eggs "over medium" and they actually came out that way (a little more cooked than basic over easy) which is a rarity when I eat out. I think the pricing deserves one $ not two as Google currently shows it. The only room for improvement I can think of would be to erect an additional wind screen or door during winter months because the small vestibule lets wind blow around the counter area. But thats not a big enough issue to keep me from recommending it with five stars

Food was cold and over cooked butter was not melted on the toast and the other piece had none and was as cold as the food was. Our server diddnt once come to our table untill she brought the food with the food for the table behind us that ordered 15 minutes after we did. We will not ever return. I guess its a great place for cold breakfast food if you in to eating cold subpar breakfast food

First time at the restaurant 8/8/2014. The employee at the cash register was badly coughing the whole time we were there. With a cough as bad as she had, she should have been sent home instead of passing her germs onto the thirty or so folks trying to enjoy their meals. Aside from that, the food was very good the restaurant was clean and the service was excellent.

My wife and i are regulars here on the weekends and occasionally the weekdays. The waiters are all very nice and friendly and recognize us when we come in. Their prices have gone up a little in the past year or two but its still very cheap for how much you get. I will continue to go back every weekend especially for their cream of chicken soup on Sundays.

This was my 1st time here with my mom while I was visiting Milwaukee. I am guessing from all of the new facebook post from my friends and family that live in Milwaukee this place has taken over for the cheap eats like spring garden or Zebs used to be. my breakfast was good. nothing over the top special but it was cheap. so good and cheap works for me.

Oak Creek Diner is fabulous, my boyfriend and I eat there all the time! The atmosphere is relaxed and the waitresses treat you like family. Food is brought out quickly even when it is packed (which it often is). There are tons of regular customers who go to Oak Creek Diner every week, so you know it must be good. I would definitely recommend!

This is a nice small restaurant. You get the feeling of old school service wich is a good thing in my book. I gave it a 4 star because the food portion,even tho the food was good I felt that the portion could have been better but other then that the service was great and the people were very friendly. I will defeneatly go back again.

Great friendly Diner service. The place is clean and. Out. The food was average. I ordered the Farmers Skillet. They put too much cheese for my taste. The toast was cold and the butter not melted or spread on the toast. I will give the place another try for lunch or dinner. Five stars for friendly service and 3 stars for food.

The place was sub par at most but the thing that really turned us off was when the waitress and a customer were talking disrespectfully about a mentally handicapped customer and saying he was the "R" word. Oh and the food wasnt great either. Wouldnt recommend and we will not be back. If I could give negative stars I would.

We went there the waitress was rude.we had chicken breast and it was tough and they must of took it out of the freezer.the french fries were stale and cold..our bill was $25.00 which we could of went to macdonalds save the money had better food for half the cost..never again will we go there...

My boyfriend and I went here for breakfast and the staff was very friendly as they seated us quickly. We were asked if we wanted coffee and refills. We ordered French toast and a Belgian waffle and you could tell the ingredients were from scratch. Overall I highly recommend this diner.

Homey atmosphere, enjoyable food. A change of pace, get Taco salad, but instead of salsa, try vinegar & oil, its lighter & doesnt lay as heavy. Great steaks on weekend, some available daily. Love this place for years with many different owners. Remember Friday & Lemon Meringue pie.

Horrible. I will never dine there again. First off all my steak n chicken was burned. My wife ordered a skillet it had no egg in it. Are waiter never came to refile my drink the whole hour I was there....just horrible. Wanted to walk out the whole time very disappointed

One of my favorite restaurants! It is similar to George webbs, but way better! The staff are kind and quick. The food is amazing, and also quick! Love coming here for breakfast and dinner! Ive been here multiple times and theres never been anything that wasnt liked!

Food was less than mediocre! Too much salt used in the main dishes and we found 2 bones, one bone in one bowl and another bone found in another bowl of the chicken soup! Waitress had a horrible attitude and was incredibly rude! I wouldnt recommend this place!!

We were seated as soon as we walked in, given coffee and waters as soon as we sat, and the food came out super fast and was absolutely amazing! The staff is super friendly and made sure we always had coffee and water filled, and it was all a great price!
