These people SUCK! I ordered and paid online for my To-Go order. The website advised that there would be a 1 hour wait to fill my order. I showed up in 55 minutes. They did receive my order. I know that because the bartender had me sign the credit card slip. He told me that he was waiting for my order to "come up." So I sat down and waited. In the 30 minutes that I sat there, I saw people order from the bar waitress AND RECEIVE THEIR FOOD as I continued to wait for the (still unprepared) food that Id ordered and paid for over an hour before. But I got to continue waiting for MY food to "come up." As I sat, I also had a couple of bugs crawl on me. I saw a customer catch a mistake in her To-Go order. I also watched servers in the back scoop ice with drink glasses. When I told them to cancel my order the bartender and a server initially scrambled to try to find my food. It was only after I insisted that they cancel my order and credit card transaction that the server asked whether Id like to "speak with a manager." While I didnt speak with a manager while I was in the restaurant, I presume a manager will see this review. If you are the manager, I hope you realize just how badly you and your staff suck!

I made a reservation for 6:00 for 14 people for my sons birthday here because its his favorite place. When we arrived, the hostess was very rude and even though I clearly had a reservation, we were not seated until 7:15pm. At one point, I went up to ask what was going on and again, the hostess was rude and snotty stating she knew I had a reservation and that they were waiting for other people to leave. The manager was even standing there at this point and he did not say a word to me. No "Im sorry for your wait", nothing. I finally thought our table was ready, but instead they took another group of 15 and sat them. I looked a the hostess and she said, "Theyve been waiting for an hour." I didnt even care that we were waiting, I understand things happen, but what is the point in having a reservation if youre going to sit and wait an hour and a half to be seated?? And, I cannot believe a business would put someone up at the front to represent their establishment that is so unfriendly, and for her to be so rude to me and my family was just unreal. Just a simple, "Im sorry" would have made me happy. I was highly disappointed in the experience.

I love Olive Garden, but I guess Ive never had it in southern Illinois before (if people like this Olive Garden location they have NO idea what theyre missing!!!!). The food was horrible!!! The breadsticks were hard/stale and had no flavor (I would have tolerated the staleness if they had the buttery garlic mixture that was supposed to be spread on top of them, but they didnt... whats up with that!?!). When the food was served somehow the plates were hot, but the food was cold. Ive never seen the cheese ravioli look the way it did; it was dark yellow, like it wasnt cooked all the way or something, but I think it was just sitting out too long before they brought it out... and the cheese filling... what cheese filling!?! They hardly had anything inside of them. I was mostly just eating plain pasta with marinara sauce. This place sucked so much! I will demand that my relatives choose another restaurant the next time I visit! Never again! I feel I must also mention the server was nice, but it just doesnt make up for the horrible bland food.

Let me start by saying that the service and most of the food was great...the only reason I gave it a four star is because the 1st bowl of salad had way to much dressing that it made the lettuce wilty and I had to pick out 3 pieces of lettuce that was a little bit on the slimy side like it was old lettuce... the 2nd bowl of salad consisted of 75% carrots and purple cabbage and 25% lettuce... kind of disappointed that the salad was not enjoyable....to me the salad is what I eat most of...the waitresses did a great job our wait for our table was very short...the time it had taken to get our food was very short...one of the waitress suggested a apple drink it was phenomenal and thats what she told me and she was correct. So overall it was really good just wasnt very happy with the salad. But will be back.

Went here last night took forever to get our server to come take our drink order and to take our food order and then it took forever to get our salad and then when we get our food there was a hair it it the manager and waitress was rude terrible customer service and on top of that they werent even busy then when we was ready to pay the waitress set the tablet in front of me and said your bill is on here and then walked away I was wanting to pay cash but I paid it with my card to not inconvenience our waitress anymore than we already did and then I couldnt even get my receipt out of the printer thats on the table and then when we walked out there was at least 6 or 7 employees sitting at a table by the front door eating I will never be back there and I will never tell any one to go to this olive garden

The past couple times I have gone in there I have had the worst servers.. They are rude and are in no way, shape, or form welcoming. My last trip was a joke.. My server gave me regular alfredo instead of what I ACTUALLY ordered which was chicken alfredo.. So she fixed this by throwing so dry chicken on top.. Then she charged us for both pastas..And we just had so many problems with her and she couldnt even bring us our correct check she had someone else do it for her, even though she was in plain view and was not doing anything. She did not want to help us at all. Its unacceptable. She maybe checked on us one time...I will never go there again..Its a waste of time and money. Please save your money and time both are valuable and should not be wasted here.

I am not a big fan of olive garden, but this was by far my worst experience. I asked for angwl hair pasta with grilled chicken and picatta sauce. The brpight me angel hair with chicken and Alfredo. I sent it back. By the time my meal came back my xompanion had finished eating and it was still wrong. They brought fettuccine, chicken and something similar to picatta sauce. It tasted awful. I informed them it was wrong again. The manager made me a special bowl of sauce which was correct but by that time I was ready to go. Our server did not bring our refills, salads, rolls in a timely manner. All that added to how hungry I was. The manager was polite and took off the charge for my meal which made perfect sense since I never got what I ordered.

Management at the Fairview Heights location are extremely unprofessional. When the issue of theft was brought up, they stated that the employees stealing were teenagers and refused to address the issue and asked us to leave! Also, I witnessed employees stealing tips off of their coworkers tables! On another occasion, the dishwasher got severely burned by the scolding water and management told her to go back to work or be fired. Can not believe these managers are allowed to continue to work at this location. My family will never eat there again unless there is a management make-over.
