This was my first time ordering from Skillman Wok and I would not recommend this place to anyone that loves chinese food. I ordered the China Town Special and honestly, it wasnt what I was expecting. It comes with beef, chicken, shrimp, crab meat, and scallops. I chose to get fried rice with it also came with an egg roll. I would not call this fried rice. All they did was take some white rice and they fried it with a little bit of soy sauce. It tasted very bland. The egg roll tasted like it was sitting there for hours. It was cold and didnt taste good at all. I got 2 small pieces of beef and 3 small pieces of chicken and the rest of the meal was stir fry veggies. The shrimp was the only seafood in the meal that actually tasted good. Other than that, I would give this chinese place 2 thumbs down. It is not worth the money and I will never order from this place again. I wouldnt even give this place one star. It just tasted old and bland.

Food is OK not the best in town but service is defiantly the worst in town! I ordered online and they change my order and charged my card a different total. I told the delivery driver it was the wrong order he laughed and said sorry but there isnt anything he could do. so i called the office they replaced the order but then the new driver complained about not getting a tip!!! Why do i tip if you messed up my order? Another time i ordered they didnt even bring my food. i called they said its already been delivered. Then why isnt the money out of my account?? so after the first 2 hours wait they offered to put in a new order but it would be 45 minutes till i get it. so 2 hours and 45 minutes to get food?? No thanks ill take my business else ware

never order from these foreigners again. Cant read English, get orders wrong and are horrible idiots Not to mention they profit off Americans. Will NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER order from people who give someone stuff they are allergic to and just say " o i give you faie dolla" when I spent 30. Yup, getting sick and eyes puffy already and throat closing......good English reading. Allergies, guess they dont care to read or care at all. Never going to order from this place again. What a bunch of jerks who cant read or speak English. Thanks for the awesome food that might kill me :) good job. Oh this this is the 8th time they have done this and dont talk to the sarcastic owner, cuz ya, hell help you. or not.

The restaurant is under new management says their menu. I guess that means a new cook too because lately my lo mein has been dry and plain. I like that the new cook adds a variety of vegetables in it. I think they use peanut oil and soy sauce and they are leaving out the soy sauce. I frequently get their cashew chicken. Its decent plus I like the vegetables. Their orange chicken comes in spicy only it seems and I have had better sweet n sour chicken. Too much breading& small pieces of chicken. The female who took my order was a bit rude. I prefer Lucky Rice by walmart off of Cockrell Hill and I30. Also. The fried rice statements are accurate. Its like white rice with soy sauce. Worst rice ever.

The food is really good and the portions are a good size, but the delivery sucks. Weve ordered from here several times, and EVERY TIME my husband has to go find them. They seem to never know where our apartment is, even though every other delivery place has no problems. They never come up to the door and most of the time it takes longer than they say it will. Considering that we have to walk to go get the food once they are here, I doubt well be ordering from them again. They arent the only place that sells sesame chicken, and delivery is supposed to be convenient, not a headache. 5 stars for the food, 0 stars for delivery.

This is the second time at work that weve ordered from them and both times they took over an hour to deliver our food. They are only 13 minutes away, and it takes them 2+ hours to deliver our food. We had to call twice asking about the status of our order. Then they eventually called us saying that the delivery guy never took the food with him but that the food was ready and it would be another 30 minutes after waiting two hours. They have horrible service…nothing like cold food after being super hungry.

I have loved Skillman Wok since I first tried the original place on Skillman in Dallas when I was about 16 years old. I work in Irving and was happy to discover this location. I still love the food, especially the sesame chicken. My one complaint, is the fried rice. I mean you cant even call it fried rice really. Its bland white rice with some soy sauce to make it brown. No flavor and just disappointing. I get the lunch special and I would love to have some REAL fried rice.

DONT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE This establishment has horrible customer service , horrible food. The chicken wings looks suspicious. They portray that their pork looks like chicken but if it looks and tastes like chicken its chicken. Instead of giving me a refund for untouched food they assumed I ate it and they could do nothing about it. They wouldve seen otherwise by coming out and seeing for themselves I had the full plate of their disgusting cuisine.

Me and coworkers have ordered here 3 times...Everytime they have forgotten some of my order. I am on a scheduled break an cannot eat at my convenience. When I called the girl that took the order over the phone was rude. I will never order from here again. And I will deter anybody else whenever possible. They need to work on customer service and food runners should check orders before delivering to make sure order is complete. Thumbs down

Horrible customer service.. Please can you hire someone who has manners. Or at least wont be totally disrespectful. The young lady that answers the phone and takes the over must hate her job! I have never seen her smile or say a kind word. If you hate being busy than dont Work at a busy Chinese food place. I have been going there for 8 year. Not anymore . Call me when yall have manners.

The food tasted good while I was eating it, but I had a very upset stomach for hours afterward. Ill probably try them one more time to see if it was an issue with the food or a coincidence. Edited from three stars to one, because my mom and a friend of ours also had similar bad experiences here so now I know it wasnt just me, it wasnt just a bad night. Avoid.

Best Chinese in three Counties, huge portions, great food, and they deliver. I have been eating at Skillman Wok since High School and I am thrilled there is one in the Irving area. I love the Shrimp Fried Rice and the Fried dumplings. Get the Poo Poo platter its wonderful too. Great Value for the price and great service!!!

For what this is, you get REALLY good Chinese food at a really affordable price. This is mainly a to-go place that has a few tables. Its not fancy, but the food is honest and very good. Forget ambiance though. Just get your food and head home. I highly recommend the San Sien Fragrance or the Kung Pao San Yien.
