We were seated and served with no problem, the food was only OKAY. It was what happened upon payment of the check that this review is owed to. Apparently the server swiped my debit card twice; once for our check of $93.55 and once for anothers party check of $77.12. Not only did the restaurant / server NOT make me aware of the matter but they did not return my card. I didnt notice I had only been brought back the receipt to sign and not my debit card. Twenty miles and one hour later I realized I was missing my debit card, I immediately contacted that the restaurant to check if it had been left behind; informed that it was, I asked why it had not been returned to me. The only thing they could offer was that "maybe I left too soon" (Despite the fact that our party remained in the restaurant at least 20 min. after payment of the check) It wasn’t until the next day I discovered (ON MY OWN) that the card had been swiped twice. After calling this time the manager insisted they "investigate" the matter and get back w/ me. Upon speaking w/ him again (after I called HIM back), he offered no explanation as to why I was charged twice and not given back my debit card, only that the second amount would be voided out. More than anything I was disturbed by the restaurants attitude towards me as if I had done something wrong, no compensation offered, NOTHING. I predict that I will never again spend a dime w/ this business.

After coming here with my family for several years worth of birthday celebrations and other various occasions, Im finished. Two weeks ago, the hibachi experience was completely lackluster and phoned in. The staff whisked us to another table to finish the desert segment of our dinner?? We are not long winded talkers. Can you say greed?? Fast fwd. to 11/12/16 for my sons 21st bday..his choice to visit chi-tung. We were 10min early for a 4pm hibachi reservation. They were nearly 25 min late seating us. They expected our group to cram in and fit 6 people in a spot for 5, or split our family up, while others at the same table had ample room. Im not ponying up $30 a plate for an late, uncomfortable, experience, where I have to split my family up, in order to obtain service. Way too many other choices, by people who care. Choose wisely! After reading recent reviews, it seems Chi-Tung is trending towards decline. My middle finger is waving at you for your careless, and rude treatment. Anyone can have an off visit. This was way beyond. Im censoring quite a bit of what occurred. Welcome to the jungle. Read between the lines...

My first few experience with Chi Tung were all carryout and my wife and I were really impressed with the food and the service. Chi Tung is super busy on the weekend (for good reason) and the carryout system is very efficient. I finally dined-in for the first time this past weekend and had a great experience. We had to wait for about 30 minutes (not bad). It is loud in the dining areas but thats because it is crowded and they seem to get a lot of big dining parties. Overall, there was a lot of laughter and fun so the atmosphere/noise didnt get obnoxious. Just make sure youre in the right mindset for that. As weve come to expect, the food was fantastic. The thai noodle dishes are really a strength. So far Ive only had a few of their simpler sushi rolls but the quality is very good and the fish tastes fresh. I look forward to checking out some of their other sushi offerings. All in all, a great restaurant with a large menu that should be able to satisfy any patron.

TODAY JAN 4TH 2014...I ORDERED MY USUAL ORDER OF LARGE CHITUNG SPECIAL(EXTRA EGG AND GREEN ONION).I ARRIVED AND PICKED UP MY ORDER ,LOOKING IN THE BAG I NOTICED THEY GAVE ME A SMALL,WHICH I IMMEDIATELY INFORMED THEM THAT I HAD PAID FOR A LARGE.THEY IN TURN MADE ME BELIEVE THEY WERE MAKING ME ANOTHER ORDER ,TO WHICH I HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER 15.ONCE I ARRIVED HOME I LOOKED IN THE BOX ONLY TO SEE THAT THEY HAD DUMPPED THE ORIGINAL SMALL FRIED RICE IN A LARGER CONTAINER.I GOT ON THE PHONE TO NO AVAIL WITH THESE PEOPLE, NOTHING WAS OFFERED TO ME ( A DISCOUNT/FREE ENTREE ON NEXT VIST) NOTHING...I HAVE BEEN COMING HERE TO THIS RESTAURANT SINCE IT OPENED.WHEN AN ESTABLISHMENT STARTS MAKING A LOT OF MONEY THEY FORGET ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE PUBLIC AS A WHOLE...I WILL BE LOOKING FOR A NEW CHINESE/THAI RESTAURANT IN THE FUTURE,BECAUSE CHITUNG WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER DIME FROM ME!!!!!!!

We ordered take out last night from this place. Im not from around this city, but Ive had a lot of chinese take out in my day. I must say this ranks among the better take out experiences Ive had. We got chicken fried rice (which included chunks of chicken) a veggie dish, crab ragoons and 2 soups (hot & sour and a wonton). The wonton soup was probably the best Ive ever had! I could could taste a hint of ginger and it had strips of flavored pork swimming with the wontons in the broth. It was very affordable and we still have leftovers for the next day! I want to come back for the buffet! This place must do take out a lot because there were a ton of people at the counter, there was a digital sign with names of orders that were ready and our bags were neatly organized. This was a great and very time efficient experience and I would definitely recommend it and return!

As much as my foodie snobbery wants me to write "this Americanized Chinese / Asian restaurant is generic and not good, even though its popular for some reason", I cannot. Its incredibly popular and usually very busy, which I dont quite fathom. However, each time Ive eaten here (times or so over 2 years?), Ive enjoyed the food and the experience. The Chinese and Thai items Ive tried were yummy, albeit not unique in any fashion. Id say the one let down, which really doesnt surprise me, is that the sushi is nowhere near on par with offerings from a dedicated sushi restaurant. However, Ive had pleasant experiences each time Ive come here. Service is generally very good. Parking can be a pain if its busy, but my recommendation is that if its a pain to find a parking space, go somewhere else and come back to Chi-Tung during a less-busy time.

Ive been eating at Chi Tung for so long that I dont remember not eating there. I used to live an hour away and would make the trip at least once a month but now I live down the street...lets just say they know me and my son by name! I have never had anything at Chi Tung that was not delicious, hot and exactly what I ordered. Even when I thought to be adventurous and get something spicy and it was too much for me they remade it to suit my delicate palate. They go out of their way to make customers happy and feel welcome. The staff is awesome, friendly and patient. The only negative Id be able to say about Chi Tung is the parking so in the warmer months we just walk. Now we go at least once a week for a meal and we always have plenty for another meal. Chi Tung is absolutely my favourite restaurant in the entire world!
