I read the reviews of this place before coming, and wow, what misleading information. The pho was the worst pho Ive had in Chicago (and my life), which is saying a lot because pho happens to be one of my favorite foods and I make it a point to visit each Vietnamese restaurant and taste their pho. The pho here looked so enticing when brought out, but has this really strange tanginess to it that reminds me vaguely of spoiled meats. The beef also had this sour flavor to it. I dont give this place a one star because there is very quick service, but overall the pho, number 26 on the menu, was disgusting. I will not come here again.

This place was appalling! I ordered a stir fried dish, and after waiting for more than 30 minutes - they brought some peculiar hard shell clam dish -- which I had not ordered. The waitresses barely spoke English and did not apologize. But in the interim - a table of Asian customers were served almost immediately. When I complained - the semi-literate Asian woman at the cash register, pretended to not speak English. I paid them for the preliminary spring rolls and will never go there again. I really dont think they want English-speaking customers. This place is really a joke!

The food is the best. Everything is brought with plenty of fresh green herbs and lettuce, crisp and delicious. The vegetarian selections are wonderful. The eggplant, water spinach, papaya salad, fried tofu, and vegetarian crepe are all fantastic. The fried rice is special as well, (i know you may be laughing at that, but dont miss it). The crispy and soft noodle dishes shine, as do the seafood dishes. If you like restaurants for the taste of the food, this is it.

I thing this restaurant has really good food- the pricing is proportionate to the the food and quality you get. The service is lacking, I was a bit surprised... its not mean or anything-its just non existent. It wasnt a big deal, but when your drink gets a little low you think- are you going to get an offer for more? Overall the food was so good the service didnt matter, I would go back.

I am a vegetarian and they have marvelous meatless entrees with a product they use that you will swear is meat. As a matter of fact, the first time I was served I tried to send it back because I was sure the chef had accidentally put meat into my dish. But it was a veggie product. All of their entrees are wonderful, and dont miss the birds nest soup.

I had just called for some information and when answering the women seemed to have low English understanding. Which I can understand,But while I was asking about the food the women just said yes and then hung up before I could order which I planned on doing. I have never been inside,but the employees seem rude

I have been eating at this restaurant and ordering take out from the place for the past 4 years, if not more! Combination Pho, amazing. Good, clear and tasty broth, without heavy MSG flavoring. Bahn Xeo reminds me of my moms cooking back at home. Easy parking here, and never over crowded.

Definitely my go to place for my vietnamese fix. Nothing better than a great bowl of pho on a cold winter night. I always get the special "dac biet" pho that has every possible cut of meat in the broth. The quality has always been consistent and delicious.
