Ive been in Tinley Park for 3 years, and Im not a skinny minny by any means. I like food and my fiance and I have tried a ton of places over the past 3 years. Chinese is one of my favorites and Bamboo garden has been the best chinese food in this area in all of these 3 years. If youve never been there, I highly suggest you go. Its tucked away next to a laundry mat right at 167th and Oak Park Ave. Its a small mom & pop type place and the 2 women that man the front have always been nice, courteous and just as sweet as can be. If you want something cozy, familiar and warm then this is a great place for a nice date or family meal. The food is always great here, not overly greasy olr over cooked, it comes just right. I am a huge fan of the house fried rice and the sweet & sour chicken. My fiancé loves the General Tsos as well as the beef/shrimp/tofu fried rice. But this is not all they make well. The wonton soup is one of the best Ive ever had anywhere! Their egg rolls (vegetable & pork) are made just right and not too greasy or sit heavy in your stomach. (if youve had a greasy egg roll, you know what I mean.) Their crab rangoons are to die for, along with the fried shrimp. THe other dishes I recommend are Mongolian Beef Spicy Basil Beef Sitr Fry Prawns Once I find something I like, I tend to stick to it so I pretty much revolve between all of these dishes each time we order. Thats no ill bearing on Bamboo Garden, each new thing Ive tried from them has been delicious! If you live in the area, then you definitely need to eat here! As a matter of fact, Im going to order some now!

If you like Chinese, Thai or Japanese, Bamboo Garden is the place to go! Owner-cook Lisa provides an excellent experience in sight, taste and atmosphere. Everything is the freshest possible and perfectly cooked and seasoned. There are too many wonderful dishes to name all here but a few of my favorites include the Almond Chicken which is like no other-even better than the same dish Ive had in San Franciscos Chinatown. Fresh, sauteed chicken dipped in Lisas own home made honey-soy sauce and rolled in slivered almonds then served with fresh steamed rice and vegetables, absolutely wonderful. You cant go wrong with any of the Thai curry dishes, all wonderful and perfectly seasoned. If youre in a hurry, try the Asian Wrap, again unique to Bamboo Garden, hunks of stir fried onion, green pepper and chicken or beef in a light and tangy sauce all wrapped in a Chinese green onion pancake-delicious! Standards like Sweet and Sour Chicken, Noodle Beef and Pepper Beef all are above and beyond anything else available elsewhere. Everything is made from scratch from soups to sauces to desserts. The restaurant is exceptionally clean, warmly decorated and everyone is made to feel at home while here. Prices are more than reasonable with lunch specials starting at 4.99 and 5.99. Dinner specials for two or more are featured and quantities are generous making this an excellent value. Dont pass this gem up!

Like a lot of people, every so often Ill get a craving for some Chinese takeout. For a while, I thought I would not be able to satisfy this specific hunger, if it happened to occur while I was in Tinley Park. The local establishments I had tried were "okay," but they just didnt hit the spot. That is, until I discovered Bamboo Garden. The food, customer service, and specials are the best in town. They offer a good variety throughout their menu, and have a nice selection of lunch & dinner specials. I usually order shrimp entrees, and there is always plenty of prawns to balance with the rest of the ingredients. Customer service is always super friendly on the phone, and in-person. And they offer delivery. They do business well!

I ordered a beef fried rice with extra bean sprouts and extra beef. I also asked that they not add extra rice. This was one of the worst beef fried rices Ive ever had!!! There was extra rice and no extra beef or bean sprouts! The beef was so small that you couldnt really determine if it were beef or not! This was my first and last time going there. How they are rated with a 4.4 star rating is beyond me!

IF YOU WANT EXCELLENT CHINESE FOOD, GO HERE! Ive been coming here for years, since college. If I ever want Chinese food, I think of Bamboo Garden. The owner/hostess knows me very well, and Im always happy when I order either over the phone or in the restaurant. :) Update: They now have smoothies. Literally, the FRESHEST banana smoothie Ive ever had. The smoothie really complimented the dish too!

Good food. We dined in. The music way WAY too loud and made it difficult to follow a conversation with an elderly person. Also the waitress did not speak English well enough to converse with other than to place our order. But the food was really good. It came out made properly and hot. The prices are reasonable. I would probably just carry out next time.

Ive been faithful to Dragon Palace for a few years. I tried Bamboo Garden for a change. Wow, I had no idea what I was missing! Bamboo Garden is the BEST Chinese in Tinley Park, in my humble opinion. Ive never known another Chinese place to give you shrimp fried rice as the default choice for their lunch and dinner specials. Im sold. :D

Some of the worst chinese food Ive ever had. We had the crab ragoon, egg roll, fried shrimp, general tsos, and sesame chicken. It was all incredibly bland. The sesame chicken tasted like elmers glue. Great place to eat if you like being totally disappointed. Otherwise, stay away...

I live really close to this restaurant for 4 year and it is the best Chinese food in Tinley Park. I love their wanton soup and their egg rolls are amazing. The chicken lo mein is the best. They catered a party we had a few years back and they deliver the most tastiest food ever.

I would do take out would not dine in again. The inside of restaurant was little dirty and interior was boring. They had several gaming machine that were loud. Food was good had little twist on traditional Chinese food I get. I had BBQ chow fun and pineapple chicken fried rice.

Ive lived behind this place for a few years and never tried it. Then, on a whim I decided to go for it. Now I order delivery from here once a week. The food is great, better than other locals, and not too expensive.

They have chinese, japanese, thai, and sushi here which is all amazing! The best asian food I have ever had. You can eat in or carry out, and very good service. I would give them another star if I could.

They messed up my order then argued with me about it. I was told that is what i ordered and that they would not replace or refund my money. I will never order from here again.
