This branch is not only the worst branch of Panera but this would be the worst cafe I have ever experience. not only the food is mediocre but the staff/management is highly unprofessional ! I normally order a Rapid Pick Up order and was giving the restaurant a try due to few gift cards I had received. Today was my 6th (and now last) order from this location ! Never on the five occasion have I received my food as intended/ordered. The management keeps you excited by screwing up differently every time - from missing ingredients to completely different salad than I originally ordered. In the initial orders, they missed the ingredients. This led me to check my order when I pick it up and ask it to be corrected - and it used to happen all freaking time. In the last two orders, they found unique ways to surpass their last mess-up : they gave me completely different salad (with same meat and add-ons). Obviously I cannot open and scrutinize all ingredients of the salad at pick-up time. This is after I have written about and pointed their mistake to the management ! Kudos to the amazing management and staff to being so innovative in finding out ways to piss off the customer ! I am sure you will keep on excelling at this but I really hope you loose customer at faster rate than that.

Their service here was so aweful. Their food was stale and it took them 20 minutes to make it. They made the sandwich first and then 15 minutes later they made the salad. By that time the sandwich was cold. Their manager was so rude and didnt even apologize. I have never felt so offended. When we ordered our food instead of taking our order they asked offending questions about our ethnicity and then said something about why we were in the United States. I will never go here again. Very unprofessional. After complaining about the food and telling them that we felt offended about them talking about our country of origin they threw us out and threatened to call the cops. My wife and I feel so mistreated. Oh my god! It is so bad here.

Terrible service and terrible food. I love buying my team bagels every few weeks and I will be going out of my way to Einstein from now on. I dont even like their bagels as much but after one of their employees refused to give me the souffle I ordered because she took too long to take my order and someone who came in after me ordered all of the souffles and she didnt understand why I wasnt ok with her explanation that it was easier for her to refund me than the other person who didnt actually have the food in their hands yet... Yeah, the risk of their notoriously undercooked souffles is no longer worth it.

Not a very big location and often out of things. Unlike other reviewers, Ive actually had a lot of positive interactions with the staff, but I agree that the line for ordering is awkwardly set up. Also there are very few outlets, and the tables are a little too close to each other and set up somewhat randomly. Ive been to other locations where each booth has its own outlet and there are lots of corners to settle down in; this location is not like that. Generally a poorly designed interior.

Try new things

We went there on a Saturday evening. There was only one girl taking orders, washing dishes and making smoothies all by herself. It took a long time to get to order. The coffee selection was limited and it also took unusually long to get our order. Although we told the girl that we were eating in , my salad appeared to be "thrown" in in a carry-out box. The food was good but the service needs a lot of improvement. Other Paneras are much more efficient. Sorry!

I eat here way to often. Probably 3 times a week. I usually use the rapid pickup and order in their app. Unfortunately, they have consistently messed up my order, forgotten something, or not had the item at all. So much so that I have gotten on a first name basis with their managers. Something I am not proud of and they should be embarrassed of. Their food however, when correct, is great.

The service is always outstanding slow at this location. And they never clearly show where people should line up to order. Too many times, Ive waited at a register that just took someones order before realizing the server wasnt coming back and having to line up at the back of another line. That being said, I enjoy the window seating, and its been a great place for getting some work done.

I just dont understand the operational deficiencies with this panera. The food is already overpriced and every time I go there, I never know if Im supposed to wait for my buzzer, or listen for my name to be called, or listen for my order to be called. The lines seem to move pretty slow as well. There are better options in downtown Evanston. The meeting room is nice though.

Its time for the staff to take "Customer Service Training". The food was OK the staff well all I can say is woooow! Smh I placed a phone in order and my bread was not good and someone forgot my cake. I ordered again and explained to the woman manager about my slice and she gave me an extra piece of bread. Tell me where does bread translate to cake?

Worst management out of any Panera Bread location Ive ever been too. You can clearly see every manager standing around not doing anything, while one MAYBE two cashiers help get through a large morning rush. Its bagels and soufflés and coffee. Half the time theyre out of coffee in the morning and coffee creamer. Clearly nobody is keeping tabs

Great place. Wanted to give it 4.5 stars (no such option, wanted to take away half a star because of slow wifi and too much crowd during afternoon), otherwise amazing place to have a meeting or study. The food is really great. Their turkey cafe sandwich is amazing. I love their half-sandwich soup option.

Looking for a place that offers you delicious without the "heavy load?" Look no further...Panera is the best! MUST TRY their bakery items...I dont think theres one I hate. And the soups and sandwiches are good too. They also offer rapid pick up and believe me when they say 10 minutes its ready fast!

Nice decent place to eat but i just learned that the recycle receptacle under the counter where you leave your plates and tray was fake. They trash your plastic bottles anyway because their landlord wont give them a trash bin outside the building. Evanston businesses should step up to fo more.

Not only the Cashier but the cleaning girl too! I believe her name was Tray..A very beautiful young lady and good hearted person she makes my day every time I walk in to this cafe weekend nights and always greets me with a smile! Love to see her more often

We used to enjoy the bagels here, but the recipe seems to have been downgraded. The bagels are sort of sweet and spongy, now. Some of the other pastries are tasty, though. The sandwiches are uninspiring and expensive, especially for vegetarians.

Service is slow. I wasnt asked if i wanted chips or an apple. So i was given chips. And when i got to where i was rushing to, they only gave one bag of chips for two sandwiches. Sandwich is sloppy
