Brenda when you are not at Criollisimos the food and service are not the same. I visited about 1/2 hour ago. The young lady working the front was overwhelmed it appeared she spent some time in the phone while she had a line to the front door. You called while I was there and asked her how is everything and she said good which wasnt the truth. She passed the phone to who I believe was your son. Who upon hanging up came up front to help her with orders. A few patrons behind me left. I see you have cameras. I would say when you are not there if have access view what is going on. My prior visit ended with me walking out and going elsewhere to eat. I have been charged different amounts too where I had to correct the person who rang me up. Your restaurant is good however inconsistent with amount of food served, price charged, and staffing. However when you are there this doesnt happen.

The first time I visited, the food was delicious, so I returned... During the second visit, I received awesome service from the warm and lovely owner of this establishment. She helped me choose some items for a picky four year old, and threw in a treat for the kids; gratis. The portions here are hearty and the value is great. Delicious, good-for-your-soul comfort food. Ive been there several times now, and I will be back soon. Thanks for a great experience!

Went and stood like an idiot in front of the fried food for over 15 minutes, the young girl never took my order and neither did the older woman.. They took another persons order and didnt even ask me if I wanted anything.. Before me a couple had ordered the fried beef patties but they completely ignored me.. I dont know if food is good because I didnt get to taste it BUT costumer service is a -10.. Horrible, they need people that will actually attend the clients

Im from Philadelphia and frequently visit Puerto Rican food restaurants, this food here was tasty I give it that. I ordered steak in gravy with rice and beans, kinda healthy portion. But in Philly you get that plus some lettuce and tomato all for $5 bucks! When stopping through, grab one, youll see the difference. If your wondering my plater was $11 dollars. They had no more sweet bananas and this was 6pm. Wheres the food, it dinner time!

So good! Big huge tasty pile of food for a few bucks. I only ordered fried plantains and a side of yellow rice but Ill be trying more stuff on the menu soon. I do wish they had a couple more vegetarian options but thats my only minor complaint. Definitely recommend this place if you do eat meat, coworkers said the pork was great

The food here is great! I had the baked chicken and before I even opened it and got home, I could smell the chicken through the bag. It smelled sooo good, but when I had the chance to finally eat it was everything the smell was promoting lol. Highly recommend this place if youre in the area or if youre craving Spanish food.

Have been eating at this place since 2003, and is always good. This is my one of the best spanish in Connecticut every time a travel from NJ to CT this where my wife always wants to go. And must of the time the owner always there and greets you very linde. Keep up that good work!

Okay... if you are looking for some 5-star-worthy, authentic Puerto Rican food then you HAVE to come here. Large portions, reasonable prices, huge selection, friendly staff, out-of-this-world food. You can never go wrong with Criollisimo. Ask for the maduros!

If Puerto Rican cuisine is what youre in seek of, this is your stop. Theyve always got a good selection of rice, soups, meats, and fish depending on the day, and a variety of fried foods like empanadas and alcapurias. Definitely a must-go.
