Horrible experience!!! We ordered from here primarily for the Bubble Tea(one of our favorite things) and talk about MAJOR disappointment! First, the food was late. We ordered delivery and we ordered through Grub Hub and our estimated time was over an hour..so we waited knowing it was a Friday night we gave them the benefit of the doubt. well, we waited and waited and waited some more...FINALLY our food shows up, late but what ever that was the least of my worries at the time. The first thing we unpacked was what was supposed to be our bubble tea because it is an iced drink. Well, the drinks were spilled everywhere it didnt even look like there was effort put into keeping our drinks contained and then THEY WERE HOT. It was NOT what we ordered! So we called to ask if the ordered could be fixed and talk about horrible customer service! The lady who answered the phone did nothing but get upset with us and argue, completely wasted phone call! So then we get to our food, we had ordered Orange Chicken, General Tso Chicken, and Kung Pao Chicken...and keep in mind we all can take a little bit of heat with no problem BUT this stuff was all so spicy that it wasnt tolerable..we couldnt even enjoy our food after all that nonsense, really? NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN

I am from out of town new to the neighborhood and this was the closest place for Chinese. I was really excited about the good reviews. The food is terrible! I orded chicken and broccoli and chicken lo mein. The chicken and broccoli was in a WHITE chicken noodle soupy sauce with little to no flavor at all. I have eaten my share of Chinese and never had Chicken & Broc in a white creamy sauce so I assumed they messed up my order. THEN I got to the chicken lo mein which was in the same WHITE soupy sauce! The noodles were like noodles you would find in soup (soft and flat.) There was so much sauce (liquid) that I could have eaten it with a spoon...there were more bean sprouts then noodles and some carrots. I dunno, maybe Chinese is different there then in the rest of the country? Whats with this crappy cream sauce everything seems to be in? There website shows lo mein the normal way! Hungry and frustrated!

The worst place you can order from. DO NOT make the same mistake I did. Mistake after mistake which they never cared to fix by sending the correct order or god forbid a free egg roll as an apology. Third time was the charm when they as usual added peanuts when asked not to and gave fried rice instead of steamed rice (this WILL happen EVERY time GUARANTEED) and I called them and started to eat the food anyway cause they never come back. But they did AND TOOK THE LEFTOVERS AND SAID THEY WILL JUST ADD FOOD TO IT AND RESELL THE DISH I WAS EATING. IF YOU LIKE OTHER PEOPLES LEFTOVERS THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! ENJOY!

This restaurant was decent under the old management but it was sold and its just not very good anymore. I watched as a customer noted his order was incomplete and a second received the wrong thing. Forgivable if they were busy not so much when you have a total of four customers. I enjoyed going there when they had the nice girls and young man working. Now its just joyless and the food taste and quality has fallen. I would avoid going here and its a shame because I used to like it.

Worst Chinese food experience Ive ever had. I ordered the same dish on three different occasions, and every time I got something completely different. When I called the restaurant to tell them that I was not satisfied with the dish, they told me that maybe I forgot what it tastes like, and that they were "Busy with a customer" and hung up on me! Theres too many goddamn Chinese food restaurants in Chicago to have to put up with this terrible service! Please do not waste your money

Probably worst Chinese Ive had in a while. I agree with the guy who wrotethe review about the white sauce, it was on everything Ive ever ordered from there. The first time I went, I thought it as a fluke but when it happened again I didnt go back. The kitchen moves super slow if theyre busy, waited 50 minutes for shrimp lo mein and egg rolls. Egg rolls were burnt, shrimp tasted like metal. Ended up having to make something when I got home.

Heres why I hated the food at Grand China: -The "fried" wontons were balls of chicken wrapped vertically with wonton skins and left out for at least 2 hours, I couldnt chew through 50% of the wonton -The orange chicken was ridiculously sweet with some kind of rehydrated chili powder on them -The only bonus was that they were apart from grub hub. Dont come here.

This place is actually decent, contrary to most reviews. There are some dishes that seem to be very similar, and it appears that they use a similar sauce, just adjusted slightly for a different dish. The orange chicken dish is value for money, but dont order the prawns (they were terribly expensive)...

I order thier orange chicken dinner it was completely disgusting. Was like wet dyed flour and really dark rice. Even egg roll was not fresh just chicken and oily. Was so dissapointed i didnt touch the chicken. Ate a few spoons of rice and eggroll and gave it away

The employees are always friendly and helpful, and the food is good. My favorite dish is the Mongolian Chicken. Also, the prices are low compared to most other restaurants with the same type of food in Chicago. I highly recommend.

Got Mongolian Beef Dinner for pick up. Walking home, the package of food was very heavy and when I got home the styrafoam container was full to the brim of delicious fried rice and Mongolian beef. Good food, very convenient.

I liked it, great value for the price, got like 5lbs of food for 20 dollars, I had issues with a phone order and its not the best Chinese food but for the price its a great choice if you want a lot of decent fresh chinese.

Dont get me wrong, its a counter service, low price Chinese place, so there are some issues. The food doesnt appear to be one of them. Items taste fresh and made to order. Staff is friendly. I go monthly for lunch.

Its hard to describe this place as anything but average. The food is quite cheap but fairly generic, especially considering the wealth of options a couple blocks down at Argyle.

Put in an online order, show up 45 min later and the order is still sitting in the printer tray and had to point it out. Waited and got burnt fried rice and over done chicken.

As far as the basics, the food is actually better than you average take-out place. Plus they offer some more authentic offerings for your advanced Chinese food eaters.

Order from here often. Service and delivery is very nice. Food is good and warm on delivery. The folks who run it are really nice people and I like the food.

Tasty Chinese-American food. Love their pots tickers and the dinner specials are massive. Had to cut back because I frequented so often that I gained weight.
