The food has always been a good amount for the money even if its not the best tasting. The reason I am docking stars though is because of their business practice and customer service. The main concern is they up charge you without any warning. For instance: if you order a "BBQ Pork Chow Mein: Large" the price next to that is $8.99. When you get to the register they charge you 10.08 (before tax), a $1.09 extra. If you ask why they say because its only 8.99 if you get HALF white rice HALF BBQ Pork Chow Mein. If you get all BBQ Prok Chow Mein in your large order of BBQ Pork Chow Mein then its an extra $1.09. This makes no logical sense. When I was there and pointed this out multiple customers noticed this too. It all moves so quick you normally dont catch it. Ive eaten there many times before and not noticed. Also they are well aware of this and the receipts only have a single price so you dont look at your receipt and notice the up charge. Secondly, when we all noticed this people began asking for refunds. They are unable to refund your credit card (which is unheard of) and so instead they will argue for a long time and then give you cash back and leave the charge on your card. Many people did this during my visit after we noticed. Third, they do not have a manager, boss, owner, etc on the property and if you ask they will say come back tomorrow. They also will never give the name of any manager, boss, owner, etc and there is no listing of any management on their website. This basically allows the employees to just say "sorry, the manager is not in, I cant do anything." for any issue. Very bad business practice, bad customer service, and very shady pricing. I know its only a dollar and come cents extra but it is the principle of the matter. They are falsely advertising a price and then up charging without people noticing, and if people do notice all they can do is give you cash in hand and ask you to come back tomorrow to complain.

I love this place for a plethora of reasons. One of them being their singapore rice noodles, the second one being their barbecue pork. God must have come down from heaven and put his foot in the grill that cooks up that savory pork. Its sweet with a bit of tanginess and the smokey flavor that permeates the pork has you craving every bite and crying when its gone. The portions are great too. Man I am so full and satisfied after I eat that one two punch that is the singapore noodles with barbecue pork. Definitely one of the best chinese restaurants in the city. The mongolian beef is spicy greasy of course but damn its a guilty pleasure and the orange chicken is to die for. The rice is awesome but I prefer the rice noodles. You owe it to yourself to enjoy a quick and wonderful lunch or dinner from this fine establishment.

They serve the best fast food Chinese cuisine Ive ever had anywhere. Stick to the basics (beef & broccoli, Kung Pao chicken, fried rice, lo mein, egg rolls, etc.) and you will be satisfied. Pound for pound it is the best quality good deal in the Loop. The combination deal for just under $9 is literally at least a pound of food! Ive even been to the other 65 Chinese locations, and this one seems to be a notch above. Dont expect Chinatown here, but expect tasty, freshly prepared food at a great price.

The bbq pork chow mien is AMAZING!!! YOUR restaurant is the only place I will order chow mien from! It is my absolute go to at Sixty Five! The food is always fresh, and appealing to look at. Ive only had one experience were the chow mien looked like it had been sitting for a long time and looked quite dry. I asked for a fresh order and they IMMEDIATELY brought out a new pan of chow mien! PLEASE open more restaurant locations. I HATE driving downtown, but you all are SO WORTH IT!!!

The food is decent but the main problem here is the portion of food being served. At any rice house they give you a box of fried rice and what ever else you order for the reasonable price . Here they give you a small ammount of rice and they flood the rice with sauce. I just want you all to know that if youre hungry and u also want to save this is not the place to go because you will get very little for a whole lot

Choices: tons! But dont get overwhelmed with their large menu at the top. Look at whats already there behind the glass, in front of you. Chances are youll see what you want before you decide by just looking at the menu. Portion sizes are good enough to fill you up.

I love their egg rolls. Pork loin mein good when fresh. 65 is a place I frequent because the food is like the Chinese fare I ate in and around Chicago when I was a kid. I rate as more like 4 stars for myself, but that includes the fog of memory.

Portion size was just fine, beef fried rice was very good, chicken with broccoli was very good. My only complaint is that they dont have a fountain soda machine, so its bottles or cans only. Id love to see chicken chow mein on the menu though.

I consider this as an upscale Panda Express. Its the same way to order, one rice or chow mein, plus one or two main dishes. Cost about $6 to $12. Good choice for lunch. Come early, otherwise it would be hard to find a place to sit down.

#FMMChi it is a popular chinese restaurant to go to here in the loop ... doesnt break the bank, money wise. Food is awesome and they give huge portions of food...its a quick place to go to during your lunch hour! Give it a try!

Ive eaten at 65 Chinese many, many times. There is usually a large line at lunch time. The food portions are quite large and tasty. It sometimes can be difficult finding a table when theyre super packed.

I buy cakes from them very often. The cake is very very soft and fresh all the time. It is a little pricier than places like Jewel-Osco, Costco etc., but there is a significant difference in the taste.

This is one of our spots for the guys at work. They always pile on the meat and I end up needing an afternoon nap. I definitely recommend 65 if youre looking for good Chinese food!

Decent food but expensive. A large with two entres is a little over $15. And a medium with one entre is about $11. Id likely not go back because of the price.

Very generous amount, even for the medium size; more than enough for lunch, with leftovers. Typical American-style "Chinese" restaurant food selection.

If you can get there when the salt and pepper fish is right out of the pan it is really good. The price is great and the portions are huge.

Ok food, rushed you in the line to get your food. Almost no time to decide what you are going to get. Restaurant tables were dirty.
