This place is disgusting!! I ordered the chicken fried rice, the rice was mushy and not fried (you could tell it had been sitting around for a while), they used a frozen bag mixture of vegetables that were hard (Ive never had fried rice with corn, carrots, peas, and green beans), as a whole it was flavorless except for this odd flavor it had. Even when I tried drowning it in soy sauce, there was a horrible flavor that nothing would cover. I think that the fried rice you get in frozen foods at the supermarket would taste better than this! When we tried to tell the waitress, she would either walk away or cut us off or over talk us about something completely different, she disregarded anything we said. We were still charged for it and they would not take it off the bill, so she got absolutely no tip! Save your money and dont go here!

I have enjoyed sushi at this restaurant for about 3 years now. I average 2 - 3 times per week. I find that the ingredients used are extremely fresh and the combinations that the chef prepares are palate-pleasing. He will even custom make sushi to your personal preference (I personally recommend the spicy scallop sushi or rolls; both are excellent.) I have tasted sushi from a number of Chicago and suburban eateries and to find this little gem of a place so close to home is the best! Be warned: the outside is not much to look at, but the service and atmosphere more than make up for it.

I went with my husband and two friends, the sushi was AMAZING, I was nervous to try raw sushi but to my surprise it was very good. Both cooked and raw. My husband had the chicken fried rice and my other friend had the teriyaki chicken and said it was amazing too. Everyone was SO nice, felt very comfortable and was a very relaxed environment. Sadly we are from out of town and wont get to come back for some time:-(.

A hidden gem in Crest Hill. Dont let the exterior or location fool you, you can get quality sushi and friendly customer service at this restaurant. My husband and I have ordered carry out on numerous occasions and have dined in numerous times and have never been disappointed.

We have been coming here since 1998. Husband spent time in Japan in the military and he says this is the best sushi hes had in the US. Service is always great, and all of the foods is excellent, not just the sushi. Best teriyaki chicken Ive ever had. I also recommend the gyoza.

By far the worst hibachi place ever!! Wouldnt give us the live grill cause we only had 3 people. Ordered surf and turf and only got the surf, and when the turf came, it was harder than a hockey puck and burnt. Definitely would not recommend this place to my worst enemy

Went here with my friends and I will say this, you feel like family eating here with the staff. The friendliest and welcoming staff Ive ever seen at a restaurant. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was awesome. I definitely recommend it!

When you look at it from the outside you might think this is a run down sushi reasturant but it is in fact some of the best sushi i have ever had. The workers treat you like family even if you have never been there before.

We called ahead and asked about reservations for the hibachi grill and we told them we had three people. We got there and they said we couldnt sit at the hibachi because we didnt have enough people. We left with a sad kid.

The outside of this restaurant is unassuming, do not allow that to fool you though. Inside is some of the best sushi Ive had in the area. They offer some unique rolls and are always adding on to the menu.
