I thought I would take a chance because of all the good reviews for this resturant "BIG MISTAKE" There were 3 people behind the counter and in the kitchen man,woman&child. The woman took my order handled the $ and cooked the food,she did have on sanitary gloves but she also handled the $ with the same gloves as she touched and cooked my food! ($ is #1 in very unsanitary!) She also had lots of spills and splashes on her clothing from cooking (no apron) as for the man he was going threw a flem situation trying to clear his throat while in the kitchen and the child he was just in and out of the kitchen playing with his toys. That whole place especially the kitchen along with everyone in it needed to be sanitized and as for the food YUK! NEVER EVER AGAIN I was better off going to McDonalds.I give this resturant/take out NOOOO stars!

My wife and I have been eating from here for 5 years now, and Im not sure what these two negative reviewers are talking about. Weve tried everything on the menu, and have not found one thing that we are not obsessed with. The only complaint I have, is every time we order, we have to contemplate what we want to order this time. As far as kids being in there goes, I find the atmosphere to be very welcoming and laid back. This is a take-out chinese place, not an eat-in restaurant. Yes it has 2 booths, but theyre for waiting, not eating-in. Amazing workers, understanding, accommodating, and VERY polite. Would recommend to anyone! A+

I prefer to eat there anytime I get the craving for Chinese food than any other restaurant in the area. They have good food, accommodate all my requests, and have wonderful lunch specials. The atmosphere is that of a take-out restaurant even though they offer tables for people to sit and eat if they so choose. I also find the presence of their kids encouraging. It is a family restaurant and their kids sit in the dining area doing schoolwork and such rather than sending them to daycare - makes perfect sense to me!

For those who posted negative reviews, thanks because your reviews are helpful and for those of you who have positive reviews posted, keep it up. I have inconsistently ate here for a few months now and my simple reason for not minding their service is because I can see what goes on in the kitchen. I have been working with some restaurants in the area for a while and you really dont want to know what goes on in the kitchens of your glorified restaurants.

The review below mine pretty much nailed it. The place is very dirty and the staff doesnt do well to rememedy that. Children were running around the kitchen when I was there as well. like the reviewer said the lady who handled my money handled the food as too. Not to mention you can see the dirt in the ceiling and walls. I would avoid at all costs and this place needs a inspection.

Me and my friends ate at this place and unfortunately one of us left her purse and then we decided to call first to make sure if its there and they said they do have it and we get the purse back my friends money is all gone ($100+)They denied that they didnt open the purse at all. What a sad thing. First time we visited Chicago and encountered thieves.

We have been here for lunch and dinner. The food was always good, especially the crab rangoons. We will be back numerous times! This is such a better Chinese restaurant than all of the others in the area! Keep up the good work and continue making the great food!!

Food is average, Egg Rolls were aweful. Not everything I hoped for. Prices are decent. Might have to look for another plae for Chinese in the area before I go here again.
