Ive been here multiple times and will go back again. Two things you have to be aware of, however... 1. Service - Poor customer service. The women and cooks who work there are pleasant, but not overly friendly (little to no talking when interacting - possibly due to unfamiliarity with the English language). As the other reviewers have stated, the taller guy who waits on tables is borderline rude. As soon as you get your bill, you can tell he cannot wait until you leave so he can clean off the table for the next customer. It seems that he views his job as to get you out of there as quickly as possible. I dont believe he is the owner, as theres a shorter man who walks around, but doesnt wait on any tables. I get the BBQ and water, which means I dont have to worry about having to interact with the waitstaff very much. On the plus side, if youre in a hurry, you can get in/out fairly quickly. 2. Food - Ive never ordered from the menu. The only reason to go here is to get the BBQ (which means putting your meat, veggies and sauce into a bowl, which they cook up for you). There is a small food buffet with some vegetable dishes and fried meats. The only thing Ive found on it that was decent was the chicken wings, sweet and sour chicken and the green beans. Everything else is pretty bland and not worth taking. Bottom line: If you can put up with the service and want the Mongolian BBQ, its worth going here. If you want to order anything else, youre better off going to another Chinese restaurant.

I understand bothersome toddlers not being appreciated at restaurants, but I have never encountered such an unfriendly greeting. When we walked in we were told to sit at a dirty table. We stood next to it and waited for someone to wipe it down, while staring at the cobwebs in the corner. When it was wiped the "waitress" didnt hide her dislike for us, her grimace was rather the opposite. I put together a bowl of food that was okay. (it was by far the nicest part of this lunch) I choose a few things off of the heat-lamp buffet, that were sub par and not heated through. I think that the worst part was when I asked for a teaspoon for my daughter to eat rice with. I was completely ignored by the person that I asked. When I said," excuse me" and asked for a spoon, the look of shear disgust from this person was more than startling. Finally, to top it all off, the bill was put on our table when we had barely started eating and the total read $18.50! I dont think that my 2 year old should eat a few noodles for free, but $9.25? After some harsh words from the manager to my server, she came back and said that they would take $4 off of the total. (small compensation) I will never, ever attempt to enjoy lunch there again. Bad food, and worse service!

First off can I just say "hahahahahaha!" You will understand the humor in the awkwardness if youve been here before. My husband and I went in for lunch at 2pm on a Monday and it was dead! (Disclaimer, anytime you walk into a restaurant and there are no other customers that is a sign that the food is no bueno.) We got the lunch buffet that comes with 1 bowl for the Mongolian grill (your choice of raw meat, vegetables and sauces, cooked on a hibachi grill by the cooks) and then also a modest buffet selection, containing of mostly tan colored foods and fried foods. The Asian lady that works there greeted us and had a table for two already prepared with water... *ahem* okaayy?? Then when I requested a straw she brought one without a wrapper and stuck it in my cup for me... lol, okaayy? My noodle bowl was very delicious however the broccoli tasted bitter, not cool. My husband ordered a coconut bubble tea, probably one of their better items on the menu, but it was mostly sugar :(. What can I say? If you like the Mongolian grill and dont mind the awkwardness, or people peeking over your shoulder then this restaurant may be for you. I would consider coming back here, but not in the near (or far) future.

Ive been coming to this place as long as I can feasibly remember. In the past it was good and its held up very well over the years. The staff has always been very kind to me, and theyve never left me wanting for drink or for anything else for that matter. I admit Ive never tried ordering anything from their menu and have only ever had the buffet, but many of the other reviews I was reading seemed to gloss over the fact that the buffet isnt just a bunch of stuff sitting around under tepid hot trays like most Buffets. You get fresh ingredients that are cooked with an array of sauces to your taste, you build your own meal out of what is there, and its a unique experience each time. Im probably going to go there today. Ive been craving it lately.

The last time I visited this place was approximately 3 yrs ago. It was great then. Now, not so much. The BBQ had limited veggies and the meat is fatty. The cook did an awesome job of preparing the food and we tipped him. The woman who served our water wad rude and had the personality of a rock. Our two kids had the buffet only yet were charged full price. Guess that wouldnt been a prob if the bill was itemized or if the prices for food were listed somewhere. For 5 people the bill came to about $60. Total rip off considering the food was ok, the waitress and owners are assholes and the place was dirty. I will never eat here again. By the other reviews on this page it seems there are others who agree with me.

Ate here with a group two weeks in a row. Dudes on the grill have a hot job but keep up with the crowd. I enjoy sampling and the bottomless buffet allows me to make a couple trips with smaller bowls of ingredients trying different sauces. Pre-made steam table item selection is not extensive but good and they bring out just enough freshly prepared amounts at a time to keep it stocked. Waitstaff is fast to fill waters and clear dishes. Kikkoman soy sauce at the table. And despite no separate checks for the table, they take individual payments of cash or plastic at the register. A couple noisy kids but thats life. Reasonably priced and fun to watch the chefs at work. Bring an extra buck for their tip cup.

We used to love this place because of the food & how it was prepared right in front of your eyes, but our last experience was horrible. I used a credit card to pay for the dinner & when I checked my statement, I found that I was over charged. They took the liberty of adding extra tips, although we had tipped them enough (both at the grill & at the table) for the buffet. The managers response was not too good too when I reported the matter. If they can skim money off your credit cards, god knows what else they do with the credit cards. This is a crime. Check your statements or pay by cash. Better to avoid a place that cannot be trusted!
