I ordered from Great Taste after reading the Google reviews and thinking the food would be really good. This was hands down the most disgusting Chinese food Ive ever had, and possibly the worst food Ive ever eaten. And I love food. I dont waste food. This on the other hand, I couldnt even finish and threw all the leftovers out. They told me my food would take 45 min. to deliver, which made me think it was all being handmade. GREAT! Wrong. This looked like it had been sitting out for days, the taste was a close second to garbage, there were little hairs in the sesame chicken, and it had stringy tendons still left in it. Dont get me wrong, I have no fantastical ideas of how Chinese Food is made...Im no fool. But this seriously made me question exactly what it is I was eating. And the dumplings were not only cold, but mushy and a few of them had a foul order. SICK. Im going to go throw up now.

Ive gotten food here dozens of time, but Im never going back after today! I liked it because their combination plates are perfect for one person and you dont have to spend a ton of money buying everything separate. I knew it was cheap food and not that great, but good enough for me. But earlier today I ordered delivery and bit into a piece of Sweet and Sour Pork (which is just a tiny bit of meat with a ton of batter around it) and there was a staple in it! I felt something pointy and hard in my mouth and a damn staple. I have no idea how they even got a staple in there but it definitely wasnt from me, nasty as hell! I wouldnt go here if I were you, try your luck with another place.

Carryout 4-5 times this year...we have another place a lot closer but Ill hit this on the way home sometimes. You can eat in if you want but no atmosphere...just a few tables and chairs. Never had delivery from them. Were 4 miles away but they said they would deliver if I wanted, so thats a nice option. Food is good...I love the wings (tasty and relatively inexpensive) and dumplings (big). Other stuff is very good too. Never been bad. Prices are decent compared to others and they still have coupons on their menu. Well order $35 worth just to get the free entree with coupon. Leftovers good heated. Note: Parking is weird and difficult if its busy. Be prepared to park next door.

We order takeout from Great Taste about once a month. Its typical Chinese-American food, done well. Weve never had a problem with an order. The food has always been as described on the menu; delivered with condiments, fortune cookies, and plenty of steamed white rice. They also offer free items with larger orders. Weve never found a staple in our food, as one customer claims, but Ive noticed that they staple the cardboard containers to keep them closed. Care in opening the containers will probably keep staples from falling into the food.

The food is okay, but the service is hit or miss. This evening I went to pick up my order after calling ahead and they had lost it. Rather than apologizing or giving me an ETA on remaking the dish they ignored me for five minutes while they shouted at each other about the missing order in front of me. Then they told me to wait (without an apology). After waiting 25 more minutes I had to go up to the counter to again ask for my order (which was ready but again forgotten about).

Not to happy. I walked in and lunch was not $3.95? I believe is described in the photo on here. Than for sesame chicken for five it would be $33 something. Usually our neighborhood Chinese food is about $25 for all of us to eat. I just feel like it was too expensive and I just left and decided to go back home and eat there. The place looked clean when we walked in and was greeted warmly.

Had food delivered and the sweet and sour pork - a quart of it - had the sauce already on top of it! You cant deliver fried pork with sauce on top because it makes it soggy! Also, there was very little sauce, and the pork itself was very tough! Also, the shrimp fried rice had tina little salad shrimp. The hot and sour soup and Kung pow chicken also was barely edible! Gross.

The fried rice game is top notch. The flavor is deep. Also impressed by the egg fu young. They give freebies depending on how much you spend. Delivery service is fast, though it may be that I live unusually close (8 blocks). If they say 30 minutes, it will be there in 10-15. Dont fool yourself and think you have time to take a shower while waiting. Never again.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Milwaukee. I used to live off of 52nd and Lisbon and I visited this place quite often. I was just telling my wife we should got there but she didnt want to make the trip all the way over there from the south side. My make a special trip soon it been too long and good food sometime you have to make an exception for.

Placed a delivery order and they forgot to add gravy with the order. I called back and the guy who took my order argued with me saying it was not recorded and that I never said it however, Im sure I did. I could barely understand him and he barely spoke english. Food was good; service was terrible - delivery guy was nice!

Ordered delivery. Recieved large quantities of moderately good, moderately greasy chinese food. My general tsaos was the same exact thing as my wifes orange chicken. Chef prob didnt want to cook 2 dishes. Good value of you like decent (not great) chinese food for low price. Also, they forgot free biscuits.

Food is decent, I like some of the dishs over others but over all in my opinion the best in the area Tosa has crap for Chinese food. And there service and friendliness is enough to keep me coming back. I have never had a single bad experience so they are my go to place in the area

This place is great. The food was made fresh, instead of just heated up. The service was very friendly. The portions were generous. And their prices are very reasonable. They have a lunch special every day for only 3.79. They also have complimentary green tea.

I cant believe these negative reviews...people that have 1 minor inconvience and they write a review. This place has good food and has it at a great price...name another delivery place in town where you can have your food in 15 minutes....Ill wait

The Chinese fried chicken was 85% breading (that was not cooked thoroughly) with only a small portion actually being chicken. I tried the Mongolian Beef & although it tasted well, it was mainly onions & peppers

Pretty good. the hot n sour soup is phenomena. also, before you complain about small ampunts of meat, please realize you can order extra meat for not too much more. i like the place, and they deliver.

I use to come here often when I lived near Tosa. I ordered at restaurant so food was always hot and exactly what I had ordered. The lady in front who took orders, was friendly on my visits.
