Ive lived in the area for 7 years plus now & this was our favorite stop. We normally order delivery or pick up but as if late we have started to dine in. We came in ordered our normal dishes at & were ready to leave. There were 2 other tables there full of guest, one table was asked if they wanted their food wrapped, the waitress took their food to the side boxed it & brought it back as usual. She comes over to our table asking if we wanted our food we said yes, she walks away and brings us the boxes. My husband asked her "when did we as guest have to box our food as we frequent this restaurant a lot & have never had this treatment" she replies we sometime make you pack your own food. I asked her if she could please pack our food, she walked away. The next table was ready to leave she took their food and wrapped it, bagged it as they normally do, all while our food is still sitting there. I ask the hostess if she can wrap our food she said she was busy. After both women having a brief conversation in their native language the hostess comes back right at our table dumping our food into the boxes spilling a little on the table. She then says I wont close the boxes because Ive been touching money & walked away. My husband was so upset he wanted to just leave so we went to pay the bill & explained how we didnt appreciate their service & the hostess said Ill let the manager no. We will never go back!!!

We used to eat here all the time till about 2 years ago once my son as born. Sadly this place has gone downhill since then. Extremely rude staff when dining in, even worse over the phone. I just dont understand the issue with finding someone in america that you could hire that speaks and understand English to better help communicate to your customers. But the last time I called this place for take out I only got a quarter of the way threw my order before I had to just hang up. I was being very patient with them but after 6 attempts to order one item. The lady on the phone had coughed up a attitude with me, because I could not understand her and vise versa, she then continued to put me on hold for 15 mins.....when dining in you can tell that the staff must hate their job, none of them will even talk to you let alone provide any service whatsoever if you need anything you will have to get out of your seat and walk to the front counter and ask the cashier to find the waitress. Waited 10 mins for a pop refill after sending the cashier after the waitress. Top that off with the rice tasting like its been reheated in the microwave. I could go on and on about this place but overall its a sad disappointment lurking in the shadow of what used to be the best Chinese food in Plainfield.

Food is authentic and delicious. We originally discovered this restaurant when we lived near the Theodore location about 15 years ago. When we moved further north, we missed the flavors from this restaurant so were very happy when we found out they opened another restaurant in Romeoville. Some our favorite dishes are Singapore noodles, lemon chicken, happy family, shrimp w/garlic sauce (among others). Weve never been disappointed with any of there dishes but we do have our favorites:-) Their egg rolls are excellent and if you like hot sauce, theirs has a nice kick but also great flavor. Portion sizes are good and a value for the money. We almost always need to take some home which are great for quick meals later on. All in all a nice restaurant with a good atmosphere, value for the money, and excellent food!

Food is good. Service sucks. Took 15 minutes just to get a drink. Turned around waitress was sitting in the booth. As I asked for a refill she tells me no refill on lemonade when I asked if she could just charge me another for another lemonade she tells me no and walks off without asking if I would like something different to drink drink. Came here last week and it was the same issue so I decided to come back and see it was different. I strongly recommend ordering take out only. When we left we asked for our to go box and noticed she boxed everyone elses and brought ours to us to box ourselves. Very disrespectful poor attitude people.

Something has changed at this restaurant. Be careful when you order your food because you may not be getting what is shown on the menu. My wife recently order a meal that was supposed to have pea pods but all she got was zucchini and no pea pods! We were told that they changed the items from what was shown on the menu but didnt change the menu. I ordered a large sweet and sour combination. I got a large container of the sweet gravy and two small sweet pepper triangles and two pieces of tomato and lots of pineapple. This place is going down the tubes!

Ive tried a lot of Chinese food restaurants in the area over the years and this was by far the best Ive had at the most affordable price. Ive only been here once so far and ate in the restaurant. We ordered beef chop suey, chicken egg foo young, and sweet and sour chicken. Everything tasted good and the final check was half the average of our previous favorite Chinese restaurant in Naperville. We were happy campers! Only negative is the décor isnt the best, but I dont care because the food is what matters. I will be back again.

My husband and I are from Texas and felt like eating Chinese food so we thought wed try this place. The food was good...big portions for the money. We had plenty of leftovers. The only thing was that our waitress didnt seem very happy at all and hardly spoke to us. No wonder they didnt have any other customers. They probably know something we dont. We have plenty of Chinese restaurants where were from and arent afraid to speak to us and do their job.

Very rude staff. Came in at 9:10 to dine in and was told 3 times how they close at ten. Yes Im well aware. It says it on the door. 45 minutes is plenty of time for 2 people to eat. The entire time they rushed us and then because its 45 minutes to close they have no tea... Ill be making sure not to dine here again. Sad because the food is great but I will not give my money to a place that treats its customers this way.

DONT PAY FOR ANYTHING more then a two-person dinner. You will not get what you pay for just paid 60+ dollars for a four person dinner and got the same amount of food as a you would a two person dinner maybe less. I tried to talk to the manager and he actually laughed at me and said he wasnt scared that I was upset? The manager even got somewhat heated and insulted me on my complaint. Such a disappointment!

How can this place stay open? Ordered pork chop suey but the pork was not fully cooked. Told the waitress and she just took the plates saying she will put it in the microwave. Pork still felt cold and not cooked 2nd time around. When complained, waitress offered to change it with chicken fried rice but she charged me full price instead of lunch special chop suey price I initially had ordered.
