The food is delicious. The customer service is *terrible.* The staff is rude and inefficient, doesnt bother telling you if any item you order is not available (seriously, when a dish did not arrive at my table, I had to ask about it, only to be told that oh, gosh, they didnt have any that night; this was information that would have changed the rest of my order), and respond to problems with deliveries by shrugging off any responsibility. Its a shame, because I love their food, but Im not willing to be frustrated more often than not by something going wrong that they feel no need to do anything about.

Food is supposed to be "fresh" as I was told by the server. Instead, I got microwaved Samosas, a cold piece of naan and the actual dish was extremely bland. Pretty much a waste of $15. Edit: Returned to campus and tried out this new Indian restaurant on campus called "Ambar India." Was pleasantly surprised by their quality. Im surprised they havent shut down Bombay yet.

I went once. I yearn for south asian food, and was delighted to be in a town that had a south asian restaurant. Yet I never went back. bad food. Blah service. (What is it with most indian restaurants that they take one look at me - Im Pakistani - and they treat me with way less respect than my (white) spouse gets?)

Best Indian food in all of U of I, hands down. Their curries are all excellent. My favorite is lamb vindaloo. It simply is delicious and the lamb is succulent. Ask for "spicy" for the authentic experience. The prices are reasonable, but go there during lunch to get their lunch prices.

I recently moved here, the owners are very nice and they have really authentic grilled food, try the mixed grill platter if you are not into curries, food is very fresh. The serving size is pretty food for Indian food and its real close to campus. Also try their daal, its delicious!

Horrible Indian food. I'm Indian and I love Indian food. Ive never had worse Indian food. People writing positive reviews must verbose who work there or know the owners. I tried it three times to give the benefit of the doubt. Terrible.

Loved it. The chicken tikka masala was excellent. Make sure to ask for spicy and youll be in for a treat. Service was decently fast and the people there were very polite. Would definitely recommend this place if youre craving indian.

Many of my friends were hesitant to try Bombay because they had never had Indian food but after finally convincing them, they all love it! The Chicken Aloo with Naan is my favorite!

I got chicken tikka masala and chicken curry, the quality of the food and the service are terrible. I make better chicken curry at home and am not even Indian. I prefer Ambar India.

Excellent place for Indian food!! Delicious and served hot. Great service and its a warm and cozy place right on Green st. It is however pricey with entrees easily going to $10.

A lot of the food tastes the same (heavy on the tomato and butter). Their naan and butter chicken are great though (even if the butter chicken could use a little less tomato).

Food is good but not great. Came here a couple of times. I think they overcharge you for the food and added to that its too pricy for the amount of food you get.

Not authentic food, not even close to it. Very oily food, no taste. Every dish tastes the same. I think they use same curry in every dish. Would not recommend it.

Service was okay but the food was BLAND, this was the most boring food I have ever had at an Indian restaurant. Try someplace else.

Good food. Their fresh naan is fantastic, you can get a huge pice with your order instead of rice.
