I went with my 2 year daughter to get the kid meal and use the bathroom. When we get in, there was a old guy with really bad attitude and the first question he asked " r u going to use the bathroom and i said yes. He said that i and my daughter werent allowed to come in to the restaurant just for that. It is really bad service if the restaurante has this kind of employees. It was my first time to go over there. Also when i was for the manager, he ignored me and walked way. My daughter start crying because she really want to use the bathroom .

We visited this new restaurant last weekend for dinner and had a great experience. The food was excellent and the menu was extensive. Contrary to some other reviews I have seen, the food goes beyond the traditional Mexican-American fare (tacos, burritos, tostadas, etc.) to include some unique regional dishes and sauces that you dont typically find in most Mexican restaurants, such as enchiladas divorciadas, shrimp and fish salads, pipian sauce. I had a hard time making up my mind with so many new offerings to try but I finally settled on the Vallarta Salad, which was great. The mango-citrus dressing was delicious and the varied ingredients in the salad (mango, cucumbers, avocado corn) made it an unusual and welcome mix. My companion had the Steak Jalisco, which was equally delicious, with peppers, mushrooms, and onions smothered on the steak. There are plenty of other dishes like these on the menu (the insert that fits inside the larger book). Oh, we also shared an order of the Tortilla Soup, which was the best Ive ever had (forget Panera or Applebees, this was the real deal, not overly done with tons of cheese). The drinks were also top-notch. Our favorite was definitely the regular Margarita, although the Margarita Vallarta was also excellent--sweet and smooth, and the original Margarita would suit those who prefer a more tart flavored drink. The prices are reasonable ($8-17 per dinner entree, more or less) and it seems like their lunch prices make it a good place for mid-day dining as well. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone interested in a great dining experience. The decor is attractive and inviting, the background music is pleasant, and the service was excellent. Theres plenty here for traditionalists who want to stick with whats familiar in Mexican-American cuisine (chimichangas, nachos, etc.). But if youre willing to experiment and go beyond your comfort zone, youll find that there are many other unusual and delicious offerings to tempt your palate.

Mi Mexico is my favorite place to go for Mexican food, within a 10 mile radius. Its conveniently located, easy to find, and theres always plenty of parking. The owners are usually there to offer you a friendly greeting you as you come in the door. Watch your step as you enter into the dining area, down 2 stairs. The service is friendly, and prompt. Complimentary chips and homemade hot salsa come to your table immediately. The decor is typical for a Mexican Restaurant, with traditional Mexican music in the background. Plenty of roomy, yet cozy booths line the walls. The food is above average, with a quite extensive menu. The only thing I have tried that I wasnt crazy about, was the mole sauce, but thats really a matter of personal preference. I prefer mine with more coco and sweetness. I also think the dirty rice could be better, but this place still beats - on whole - any other Mexican restaurant in the area, and the prices are reasonable. The Margaritas are also above average and they have a nice assortment of aged tequilas at the bar. Bon Appetit

I highly discourage people from dining at Mi Mexico Restaurant. I have had two terrible experiences involving the wait staff and their policies. First, they refuse to provide separate bills for parties of 6 or more. They wont tell you this beforehand and will just throw a massive bill in front of someone at your table and expect the paying customers to divide up the bill and split up the tax and gratuity. I have never been to an "upscale" restaurant that refuses to provide individual bills because they are too busy and would rather have customers spending their time to do the work for them. In addition, their staff is unfriendly and borderline rude to customers. The best part is their food is mediocre at best and the wait times are long. Until they improve their customer service and wait staff, I cannot recommend dining at Mi Mexico, even on one of their good days. At best you can expect mediocre food and lackluster service. Your money is better spent at any other Mexican restaurant.

When we moved to the area we struggled to find a good Mexican restaurant, and we thought Mi Mexico Restaurant was our answer. The food was great, and the services was good. However, we will never step foot in that restaurant again I and encourage others to save your money. The manager is awful. My wife and I would order and the manager would not allow the kitchen staff to make the food as we had ordered it. Three out of four times they messed up my wife’s order, due to the manager who changed the order. We would have paid the extra money for what we wanted, but she interfered between the waiters and the kitchen staff. The last time we called ahead, and they changed our order. I asked her to make it right, and she was incredibly rude and would not make it right. We were spending a lot of money at this restaurant and we loved the food, but this manager has ensured that myself, my family, or our friends will never step foot in the restaurant.

Food is good and service not bad but the customer service from the manager is terrible. This guy - GM (the owners son) should not hold this position as he is ruining their name. He has such a bad attitude dealing with customers, I asked for to go cup to take my ice tea with me and he would refuse. I am pregnant, had gastric bypass surgery and cannot drink at the same of eating so I wanted to take this with me as I paid for it. He was so mean and refused giving me one covering with some stupid GM rules. I have been there before and never had problem taking ice tea home with me. He is just this kind of person who wants to have it his way. I will never go there again neither will recommend this place to anyone.

Not really authentic mexican restaurant I wanted a mexican torta and they said they dont have it like wtf, portion were kind of small ordered a steak burrito meal and a coke, burrito only had steak and thats its no vegetables no rice or beans etc... in the burrito. got some and rice and beans on the side but thats included in the meal next to the burrito. Burrito was soaking in some kind of sauce which I dont know why it would be making the burrito imposible to grab and eat as it should be. Honestly I wont be returning to thus restaurant for what I paid Im just going to Chipotle next time it will be cheaper and better.
