What a horrible experience. So my family and I wanted to try something new and decided to have breakfast here. We were seated and my nephews girlfriend asked for a chocolate milkshake. This is exactly what the waitress said: "Oh I was hoping you wouldnt ask for that. I hate making those. Ill make it but its so hard to make those thats why." We really didnt care that she said that since she gets PAID to do her JOB. after about 10 minutes, she brought the milkshake. It was CRAP! it basically was vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. My mother then asked one of the busboys to bring us water since no one brought it out like its usually given. we were also never given the usual basket of complementary bread unlike the other customers. We waited for more than 35 minutes and our food was not out yet! we had enough and asked the waitress to charges us for the drinks (coffees and "milkshake") because we were LEAVING! She then went into the kitchen yelling out stuff in spanish to someone (guess she didnt know that we spoke spanish). The manager then came out and was being very rude yelling about the food being wasted and other BS. we got our check, we left. and went to Dappers (a restaurant down the street), where it was twice as crowded and got seated and ate in less than an hour.

Writing this review after my third visit over about a year. Always had good service, the guy that seats us is always talkative and pleasant and never had issue with a server. The Greek chicken is awesome but the sandwiches and paninis are great too. Quiet clean place to grab a bite or even a few drinks and relax, or bring the family.

I go to Chicago frequently on business and love to have dinner there. Lots of home-cooking type entrees at very good prices. And very friendly and attentive service and management. Highly recommended for casual, comfortable down-home dining.

Waited 15 for a waitress to come to my table and ask me "would you like something to drink" uh yes I would. Also put my order in 22 minutes ago. French toast eggs and bacon does not take that long. And my coffee has been empty for 10 minutes

If 0 stars was possible, I would rate this place that. The waiter was rude and telling us to move things while we are just sitting down. Also, we couldnt even eat because they served us water with a roach within the 5 minutes we were there.

There steak and gyros are not good. Hamburgers I think are frozen. Service is the type that will get to you when they fell like it. If anyone rates this place better its because the are related to the owner. Boo
