My friends were there tonight and everything was great until I cut into my omelet and on the bottom was a piece of hair. I cut a quarter of it and placers it on another plate and gave it to my waitress. She didnt say a word tome she brought the plate to the management and no one came to speak to me. I ate about 3 bites of the opposite side. The waitress then brought our bill and I noticed they hadnt taken my meal off the bill. So I went to go pay for my bill thinking the manager was going to address the situation and he didnt say a word. So I asked him what he was going to to about the hair being in my food and he said well that was only a small piece you didnt eat . I said did you see my plate ? There was only a couple bites missing. He then looked at me and said " what do you want me to do about it? It was probably your hair" I was appalled . I have never ever been treated this way . He then turned around and took my 8.99 meal off the bill. This was are first time ever eating there. And we will not be returning.

Went here for breakfast with my wife as neither of us had ever been before. Waitress was less than stellar. Spilled coffee on the table every time she filled a cup. She stopped at our table twice and started to give us the plates of food, only to say Oh wait, thats not yours". She didnt ask me which potato I wanted with my omelette. She did ask me which type of toast I wanted, but brought out the wrong type anyway. I didnt say anything and ate it because I was starving. My omelette was okay I guess. They had put slices of American cheese in it which was just too much cheese and not all that appetizing. My hash browns were under cooked and had little taste to them. My wife said her skillet was okay, but nothing special. Overall just an extremely underwhelming visit and not a place well visit again. Many better options out there for the same cost and much better service.

Might have been one of the worst places Ive eaten in years. From the time we walked in the service was terrible, we didnt get menus for a good 5 minutes, then gave my daughter a disgusting look when she ask for a sprite. Food was gross and could tell that the sauce/gravy was from a can and the biscuits were not fresh. The topper on the whole thing is when my daughters were standing my the table as we were getting ready to leave and the waitress got angry and shook her head cause she was trying to get by instead and politely saying excuse me. Wont be coming back here anytime soon.

Waitress not around. Food came and fries were double cooked stale and dry. My pork was 100% raw. Called manager/owner over explained situtation and he said honey its cooked but that one is not. First off Im not your honey and second of all how can it be cooked if its raw not even pink raw. Horrible didnt apologize for it said oh well do u want something else. Um yes some customer service and a Im sry. Horrible experience I wouldnt ever go there again. Dont waste your time you will be served raw meat which is unacceptable and you will get sick.

Dont understand the prior negative reviews; they must have been authored by those who have it in for the owners or lack taste buds. Theres no "chain" with service as good as the Triangle. I was there during a fairly busy lunch hour and they got my food out quickly and it was superb with a very homemade taste to it and not zapped out from a microwave or a deep fryer. Generous portions and a very good value for your $. Ill be back on my next trip through Grayslake.

First time my husband and ever ate there. Staff was great. The food was Ok. I had Eggs Benedict with hash browns and my husband had Country Fried Steak. We noticed that my hash browns and his gravy had the same funky taste we could not quite put our finger on it. We both agreed if we ever came back it would be for their stuffed catalope or California fruit plate.

My wife and I have gone to this restaurant for years. For a great quick breakfast or dinner, you cant beat it. The food is simple, but good and priced economically. The service is fast and friendly. We will continue to come there and chat with the owner and waits staff. I guess everyone has their opinion, but ours is A+.

This resturaunt is amazing. My family goes there every sunday/monday and it is awesome! They serve excellent food, especially the chicken rice soup, and the waiters and waitresses are extremely polite, funny, kind, and warming. NOTE: You should go to this place. Its amazing. 5/5 stars. 11/10. :D

Food was lacking flavor. Soup on the day must have been sitting there all day- complete mush. Turkey Club sandwich is pretty hard to mess up- except the meat is at least a half inch thick. On the bright side: Saganaki was great...only thing I would get there...if I ever go back.

The food here has been very good quality. Some soups arent as good. Will serve breakfast or lunch any time. Plenty of room at booths and tables, accessible for disabled. There is also a counter with seats for single guests. Great steak and eggs and skillets! Coffee is good.

Used to go frequently until one night we took my parents. No one really there but we had no one stop by our table for 15 min. Got up to leave, then they noticed us..and their profits leaving. Havent been back since. We now give Hillside all our diner business.

Wow...service. Theres a point that it really doesnt matter what the food tastes like! We dealt with the owner too! The food just looked gross, when we tried to return it the owner said "thats all you ever do is return food". This guy was just plain mean.

I agree that you are hardly noticed at the new triangle... Their bread pudding is a joke; I ordered it once and ate a couple of spoonfuls and paid the bill. I prefer the Hillside… because they are much more pleasant.

Good food and a friendly staff. Weve been going here for breakfast for over ten years. Always consistent. A little crowded Saturday and Sunday mornings but never more than a 10-15 min wait.
