Always hit and miss. Tonight was the last straw. My food was bad, my daughters was bad. When I let the waitress know she said I will let the cook know, took my plate, and walked away, never asking if I would like something else or fresh Broccoli Chicken, which is usually good. My daughters chow main came and it was so cold the sauce was congealed. We tried to tell the same waitress and she just put our check on the table and walked off. We went to the front register and they got the manager/supervisor for us. She brought the server with her. I explained that I had taken two bites of my Broccoli Chicken and stopped eating it as it was disgusting and that my daughters which I took picture of to show her was cold upon arriving at our table. I then told her about the young server and her poor performance. The manager started arguing with me in front of my children saying that I had eaten almost all of the chicken and never mentioned the chow main.(What happened to the customer is right?) I responded that the serving was small and that I had only taken two bites. Again she argued the point. She stated that it was unusual, alluding that it had to just be us because none of their regulars complain about the food. She said she would credit $3.00 dollars after saying she would credit half my daughters meal and a third of mine which was insulting, as she walked away from the conversation. I hate to tell you Maam, but we are "REGULARS" and we eat at the Hong Kong several times a month and this is not our first run in with sub-par quality of food nor the manager. (To be fair I want to mention that my other daughter Hong Kong salad was sub par and the manager replaced it with dry white rice, and then charged me for it.)As Loyal Hong Kong Customers, sadly, we will no longer go to this establishment nor will we recommend it to anyone we know. It stinks because it was the lesser of two evils as far as Chinese food in the area goes and me and the guys at work order lunch and dinner there on long shifts. I will not participate in that any longer either. I will now drive to Meridian or Boise for Chinese food with my family and spend the $50 to $60 somewhere else. If the owner reads this, this occurred the night of April 9th 2015 at about 930 pm. I will be calling Linda the managers boss and let her know how poor the food, service, and attitude of her management staff was as well. SIONORA Hong Kong....

I had a terrible experience at Hong Kong. They obviously do not know anything about customer service. We drove 15 min. back to our home and by the time we pulled into the garage, the juices had leaked completely through the food boxes and the bag to the point to where the entire bottom of the bag busted and food poured all over my husbands pants. He had been carefully holding them the entire way home so the food did not get all over my new car. I just purchased this car a month ago and Hong Kongs food leaked all over my passenger seat, poured out my door, and all over my garage. It took me hours to try to clean my garage and my car. This morning my car still smells like Chinese food and my seats are stained. I called them today to ask them to make it right by paying to have my seat cleaned (I did not ask them to pay for my husbands cleaning bill or for my time) and the manager blamed it on me. They said I must have filled the boxes too full. This was not the case. In fact, I had asked for an extra box last night b/c I knew the 2 boxes they gave me would not be big enough for all the food. I also told them they were blaming me for filling the boxes yet their waitress never offered to fill the boxes for me. I told them their boxes must be defective which they denied. I have never had this happen anywhere else before even though we go out to eat every week and always bring food home from other restaurants. My entire family had been going to them but this will not be the case any longer. I will also be telling anyone I know what happened. The sad thing is, had they been nicer about this and offered to make it right, we would have never mentioned any of this negative to anyone in spite of the damage it caused and in spite of the fact that my husbands meal was quite bland.

We went to Hong Kong on Christmas eve. Called ahead to see if we need reservations. She said no, come on down its not busy. We show up and get our table of 7. We ask for water. She said they don`t have an water glasses left. That`s strange I have seen it busier for sure. We order. After 20 mins they bring 1 plate of found for my son and say she is not sure what happened. I was about to tell her to bring us coffee cups and a pitcher of water so we can drink something. She shows up with paper cups. Lol. I get up to use the restroom and there is no soap in the dispensers. Ok, thats it! I go talk to an employee to ask what the deal is here? She says they are busy... That`s all! I look over and the one person that got their food is done and here comes the rest of the food. The rest of us eat. As I am sitting there drinking out of my paper cup I cant help but think if you can`t at least have enough dishes or employees then don`t be open on Christmas eve. Comes time to pay. The gal at the register asks me how things went. I had to be honest and tell her the story. (which I am hating now)... She says " I`m sorry to hear that". Not, sorry let me comp the kids meal that came up 20 mins early... I told her I can`t see me stiffing the waitress due to it not being her fault but this was horrible and we should have not came here... Not going back unless the pull it together.

My family has been going to Hong Kong for over 20 years. I just got off the phone with this establishment and I have NEVER had such a disappointing conversation. I was phoning in an order and wanted a large order of their Mandarin Chicken with mushroom fried rice. Normally it comes with either brown or white. I told the lady on the phone that an up charge of probably $1.00 to $1.50 would be fine. Five minutes later I get a call back saying that they can’t give me mushroom fried rice, only pork fried, brown, or white. I am Muslim so pork will not do. The manager gets on the phone and says that I would have to order either a large order of mushroom fried rice, which is too much rice for my girls, or a combination order which would give me less chicken, which would not be enough of the main dish for my daughters. When I asked why the store manager had the audacity to say, “We have to draw the line somewhere.” So the line is a SLIGHTLY different type of rice?!? Apparently, the customer willing to pay for something extra is not alright with this restaurant. Very disappointing experience, I truly hope that they realize flexibility should be standard, especially when the customer is will to pay.
