B E W A R E unsanitary business with terrible customer service and sub-par "Japanese Food" owned by Chinese people. Ordered "Tom Yum Soup w/ shrimp" after waiting for the delivery guy to show up 1.5 hours later. I open the bag and the lid of the soup was practically melting into the soup. Yummy right? I try the soup and it tastesd like fermented cabbage and spoiled seafood masked by spicy flavored water. Then, I remembered the soup is supposed to have shrimp in it...I finally find 2 small pieces of shrimp at the bottom which were ultimately rubbery. I couldnt take another bite. The sushi was soggy and not fresh! I ultimately called them back to ask if I can have my money back since the food was inedible. The owner started barking at me like a dog. He literally said you ate the shrimp "I cannot give you your money back, give me my shrimp back." I was really confused and asked him were you planning on using the shrimp in another customers dish. He said the shrimp costs money, I need to run a business." I was baffled... I will never come here again and you can look on yelp for all the 1 and 2 star review he gets for similar complaints. Most of the other reviews are bought. There are many Sushi spots around the neighborhood which will not leave a bad taste in your mouth. Eat at your own risk.

Best sushi ever! I have eaten here dozens of times throughout the years and I have never been disappointed. The fish is always fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is low key casual, all about the food. Wait staff is always on point. All the rolls are great, sashimi wonderful. As far as the hot food goes, lets just say, the sukiaki is very tasty and one of my favorite dishes, especially on cool nights. I love all of the various udon dishes as well. This is my local go-to Japanese restaurant.

Id say its one of the better sushi places in flushing. Reasonable prices. Pink Panther roll = good, Beef Negimaki = Not so much, unless you love Scallion breath. I like how many rolls have a sweet kick to it. I gave it 4 stars bc of food and price, but the website actually is wrong, its a Takara in California. The menu is very different. Ill definitely go back there.

Im very particular about sushi. This is the best fusion sushi place outside of Manhattan! Must try the Tiger Roll and Pink Panther Roll. Very, very fresh sashimi and traditional sushi and rolls too! Ive been coming here from Jamaica Estates for years. Worth the drive from anywhere.

The worst Japanese foods meal Ive ever had in my life... KatsuDon was burnt and I wondered why the cook and the waiter didnt smell that and still brought it to the table in the first place. My wifes Chirashi was the first and only one that weve ever had with dried out Sashimi...

Been looking for good sushi in my area, so I popped in and took out a couple of alaska rolls. So...much rice and hardly anything in the middle, and it fell apart as I tried to pick it up. At the end I was left with 1 1/2 cups of rice on the plate. Bad Idea! Ill keep looking

Whenever Im in Queens I try to make a stop at Takara. The sushi is amazing. The staff is super friendly and attentive (which is typically the opposite at similar restaurants). Great menu with diverse sushi rolls. Just a great restaurant overall.
