The decor and service at Xihn Xihn were nice, but thats not why I go to a restaurant, its because of the food. The Pho was just pretty average, Ive made as good in my home if not better and Im just an white American guy. First of all they skimp on the toppings like the lime and bean sprouts. They gave us just two slices of lime for two big bowls of pho. The pho itself was pretty bland and there was a low ratio of noodles to broth. They also didnt have black vinegar and the fish sauce was pretty terrible. We both ordered the number seven which was 7.50, it came with rare eye of round, tendon and tripe. The eye of round was pretty tough and not very flavorful, the tendon was good with a large amount in the the dish, the tripe was.....tripe :) . Also the broth had to much of a sweet flavor to it which I found strange. Average.

Being from Dallas I have been spoiled by very good Vietnamese nail salons and very good Vietnamese Phở. After relocating to this area I have found neither. I was very dissapointed with the phở here. It may have been a one time thing so I will try it again, as I love phở and this seems like my only choice. The tendon was awful, and that is usually my favorite ingredient. The tripe was good. What the soup really lacked was good, tender meats. In Dallas they use brisket and other very tender and flavorful meats, kind of thinly sliced and irregular, The beef in my phở seemed like they were just slices off a slab.

Their pho broth comes out of a can. Flavorless. Noodles soggy. Meat tough as rubber, had already been boiled separately. The broth is supposed to be slow cooked in a large pot. When the place is slow, all you order is pho, and it takes 20 minutes to come out, that means they dont slow cook their broth, not real pho. This is consistent with other places Ive been which cut corners and also serve substandard pho. Ive tried this place twice since the new owners. Big thumbs down, never coming back, save your time, money, and taste buds

Craving pho, my friends and I came across this place one early afternoon for a late breakfast/early lunch. The restaurant itself was pretty clean and well kept. The guy that served us surprisingly spoke very good English, something rare to find at a Vietnamese pho restaurant. He even joked about me asking for a fork. I went with the #113 Bun Thia Xiongnu (Rice Xinh Xinh Cafe with Char Broil Pork). We all thought our food was pretty good along with service. Craving Xinh Xinh Cafe food, this place will get the job done.

The phò itself wasnt bad. The fact that they didnt have chicken phò blew my mind. And I woke up at 2 in the morning and remained on the toliet for a half hour! Note to self: If it doesnt have PHÒ in the title, the phò prolly isnt that good. You wont see me there again.

This has become one of my favorites. The beef curry sandwich & shrimp vermicelli bowl are two of the best. For an appetizer, try any of the summer rolls. They also have AMAZING vegan pho every weekend (Fri through Sun).

Banh mi sandwiches and vermicelli bowls are GREAT. Specifically, the ground beef curry and charbroiled beef skewer sandwiches are excellent. 4 stars because their pho (the quintessential Vietnamese dish) is only so-so.

I went in there with a crying baby and ordered Pho to go. They were nice and understanding and helped me with the door. The Pho was the best in town! Great service.

Decent pho, although that relies on your personal ability to use the ingredients to season it properly. Id have liked a more well seasoned pho to start with.

The pho is horrible. I told the owner it was bland in a very polite way, and he yelled at me in front of everyone. What kind of service is this????

Their pho is inexpensive and really good. It is great to have a warm bowl of noodle soup in a cold day.
