Not impressed. Ordered a side of rice, the pork buns, the korean tacos, and half spicy and half garlic soy pot stickers. The biggest mistake was asking for soy sauce. We were given packets of soy sauce from a cheap Chinese take out restaurant. The pot stickers had a heavy flavor and texture of red pepper powder. They were also supposed to be crispy, but obviously sat around and were sauced afterwards. The pork buns were not great at all. Not only was it a cheap cut of pork belly (less than 25% actual meat). Of the meat, it was extremely dry. Parts were so dry that I couldnt bite through. The fat, soggy (should have been crispy). The bun was flat and chewy. Bao or Hirata buns should be fluffy and soft. There was little slaw added, thus not providing a good combination, and the cucumber was hot and cooked through. And the rice. The rice was equal of that for chinese take out. Not only was it long grain, the rice was dry. The customer service was a bit off too. Limited language skills led to short conversations. If you want to know about the korean tacos, I didnt even bother.

Spent over $70-80 on small portion food. Some of the chicken was overly cooked and dried. They refused to change it and when they did they gave me a huge attitude. Then went back to try their wings another day we order 4 rice with the order. Rice tasted like rubber and too dry to the point we felt like we were chocking. We asked for a refund for the rice and they refused to and told us last time I came I got a chicken exchanged and that since we ate some of it they couldnt take the disgusting rice off. When we first made a complaint the waitress didnt come back until 15 mins later so we were so hungry we ate some... desperately...they refused to the point where they were being loud and rude, I felt ripped off and disrespected. I paid but to told them I will NEVER return to that disgusting rip off place. You dont get what you pay for and the food is trash. The service is HORRIFIC. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY THERE! You will be served overly cooked or uncooked food and they will not refund you. Even if you dont eat it or take it.

Please dont let this one deter you from enjoying the good wings here. Although they could use some more of the sauce, they were tasty and crispy! The one star comes from the lack of customer service they have. I ordered the shrimp dumplings and only found a tiny piece of shrimp in one of 3 of 8 dumplings that I opened up. One of the servers (he wasnt my original server) tried to go back and forth with me trying to make me order something else off the menu instead of taking them off my bill. He finally agreed once I pointed out to him that my food was getting cold because he wanted to argue. This is my first and LAST time here as Im not going to spend $20 on my meal alone (10 wings and fries) to have to fight about what Im not pleased with as a paying customer.

I was kind of afraid that this location wouldnt be similar (aka as good) as the Northern VA Bonchons Id been to. Luckily, I was wrong! We got a medium combo half and half (half soy-garlic and half spicy). The spicy version tastes like gochujang (delightfully garlicky, sweet, and spicy) and will make you sniffle even if you have a decent spice tolerance. SO WORTH IT. This is really nitpicky, but the radish was cut up weirdly small and not in nice cubes like the other locations Ive been to. And the service was decent, but didnt come around very often even though the restaurant was pretty empty (at 3pmish on a Sunday). Overall a great experience, and would definitely come here again if I was in the area. I missed Korean-fried chicken so much.

It is no secret that this city has an abundance of great Korean restaurants. And it isnt hard to believe that 90% of them are between Clairmont Rd... to north of Satellite Blvd, which is why this eatery is notable. It is no where near there. The decor isnt particularly imaginative but it is sleek and uncluttered. Red, black and wood form a standard pallette meant to give off a generalized Asian vibe with a few dashes of white. The menu is extensive presenting Korean staples along side inventive culinary fusions that effortlessly reward the adventurous. /// Insider Tip: the portions easily feed two. Leftovers for lunch tomorrow. ;) SCORE = PLEASANTLY SURPRISED

To the comment regarding how this restaurant is nothing like Korean restaurants in Duluth. "I walked into this place thinking it was going to be like Duluth" You are in Fayetteville which is a good 1 hour away from Duluth. This is obviously Fayetteville not Duluth. Bonchon is known for selling Korean fried chicken, their menu items do not consist of most of the things you can find in Duluth. Its not your traditional/authentic Korean food. Consisting of other Asian dishes make it sort of a fusion. This place has amazing fried chicken! Give it a try !

I always bragged about how good Bonchon strips were. I recently ordered 2 ten piece strips.... $25 freaking dollars thrown away.. the strips were thin and waaay over cooked.. they were more like chicken chips instead of strips..I called to complain, but the guy never offered an apology, nor did he offer to replace them.. ONE CUSTOMER, PLUS THE FRIENDS THAT I TELL..LOST...why cant the food continue to be the same quality as when they first opened...

I walked in thinking the place would be like Duluth. I was highly disappointed . Nothing like Duluth restaurants.. The Popcorn chicken was burnt and bad tasting I had to use a lot of dipping sauce. For the prices not worth it and expensive. I can get 3 tacos at another korean restaurant in Duluth for $5 and delicious tasting. I will not eat at this place again.

I took my family out for our Sunday dinner and from the beginning the service sucked. Took them 30min just to take out order. On top of that our wings didnt show up at all until when we was about to leave after sitting there for 40min. Management sucks and still made us pay for the wings after it showed up 40mins later. NEVER WILL I GO BACK TO THIS PLACE!!!!

Not only does this place have great chicken, it has many other great food items. It also has vegetarian food options, but the reason Im giving it 4 stars is because the portions are large. Other than the foods with specified amounts, if it is not specified the amount is huge, so bring someone with you to help you eat the food!

They only have 2 flavors first of all and its a mainly friend chicken restaurant. Dish sizes are small. Little plate big price! Menu is small. Good lunch spot maybe not dinner. The bathroom looks like an old truck stop bathroom. Like they ran out of money during construction so they slapped some yellow pain on the wall.

My brother and his wife tried Bonchon on vacation in New York and loved it, so we drove 45 minutes from Douglasville to try it out. They both thought this one lived up to the New York location. If you havent tried Korean fried chicken, you need to try it now. Super crispy, super spicy chicken, and great service.
