If I could give it 0 stars I would. Yesterday it was my first and last time at Pizza Time, unless they do something with their staff. The pizza was ok, but Im still chocked on how horrible I was treated. My first stop was Gelato Time and the girl was nice and professional. Then my son wanted a pizza, so I crossed to get 1 slice of cheese and 1 of pepperoni. There was no one in line and no one talked to me (the people who were making the pizza), so I assumed I had to pay first. So I tried to do that and the lady asked me if put in the order, for which I responded no. She said that I had to do that first. So I went back and asked the lady I wanted a cheese and a pepperoni slide (again, she never addressed me, so it was really confusing) and right after I went back to the cash register to pay (no one was there and in my entire life the flow I have experienced has been; "order, pay and wait") and she aked me to go back. Then I asked where? and she pointed back and said; "you have to go there". She insited two more times and I felt extremely confused becasue so far no one explained what was going on. I asked her why I couldnt just pay for the two slices (again, no one was there paying) that I just ordered (which I dont find that complicated), and this guys comes to me and with the most horrying rude attitude tells me "becasue you have to go there", pointing back, for which I asked if I was going to be able to pay there and he repeated "because is confusing and you have to move there!". First, so far I have never felt so confused in my life and second, I felt horrible this guy was coming in aggresive towards me. After he said what he said, I told him it that was my first and last time going there and that I have never been treated that way before. Then he made an expression as if he didnt care at all and said "oh well, is ok it is your last"! Really?!?! I coluldnt believe this guys was saying that to me in front of everyone. So sad and dissapointed, since as a business owner myself, this is exactly the kidn of employees you do NOT want representing your brand or business. First, no one greeted me or smile at any time and to make it even wore they were rude, unprofessiona and disrespectul. At this point I feel extremly bad for the owners, but it has to be a wake up call for them. I would never allow this type of behavior, and even more toward any of my clients. You can have a great product, but if the service is bad and you dont do anything about it, it can ruin what you have worked so hard to achieve. The girl at the cash register tried to apologize, but I only was able to tell her that the problem it was not on the message, but on the delivery . She tried to explain that their "method" of doing things was to avoid confusion, but cmon, I was confused the entire time. There was no logic at all on what they were doing. Again, you usually order, pay and wait for your food, or dont you? In the meantime, I hope they take note. Im sure they are doing great since that place is alwasy busy (have seen it every time I walk by), but this can slowly hurt them in the long run. Im sure the owners are great people and they do have a good product. As for me goes, will keep going to Pizzalleys, which do have an outstanding customer service :) Its not only about the food but on the "experience", and this place has both! :) If you want an "ok" pizza and the worst service possible, be my guest and visit Pizza Time,

I dont know if the staff was always this rude or if being the #2 overrated pizza in America inflated some egos to astronomical proportions but this place and its staff are a joke. I was excited to try this place for the first time. Haha! Silly me. We had three different slices and some garlic knots. I requested to NOT have my pizza doused in extra oil, since I didnt know that was a thing. Apparently that is the WRONG thing to ask. I dont understand why it twisted this mans underoos so tight, but it must have cut off circulation to his head. He basically bitched me out (I have no other word for it) for not wanting extra oil, "Whyd I even come?" "People come from all over the country for this" gesturing to the oil. I guess he felt I didnt get a good enough look at it as it was sitting there. It was embarrassing to be called out in front of the entire line, whatever reason I have for not wanting extra oil should not be that big of a deal sir man child...please just keep your extra oil to yourself along with any crap comments you might feel like making. Then we get to the register...luckily we had cash on us because unlike someone stated in response to a person below NO there is no SIGN OUT FRONT saying cash only, it says ATM inside. The cash only one is at the register which is really inconvenient because you have already gone through the line at this point. I am not sure what happens to people at this point if they hold their orders while they use the ATM (not likely you are run through pretty quick, but possible) OR do you have to use the ATM and then go back and get in line all over again? Either way it seems stupid to not have a SIGN OUT FRONT that says cash only. Then we sat down to eat, and the pizza was good, but it didnt seem exceptional. Maybe we were hoping for more because "oooh Tripadvisor" and our friends and family talked it up, but yeah, for us it was a swing and a miss. Apparently this behavior is common of the staff which is hilarious, I wish I could operate a business where I could treat people like crap knowing they are probably only there for the day. #thedream Another review described the owner (I guess) as a "pizza nazi" which is perfect for Seinfeld fans. The marinara for the garlic knots was really thin...I thought it was soup when it was first ladled and it didnt coat the knots well. ***BONUS ROUND*** I vomited the pizza up about two hours later and was sick the following two days which is while I am writing this recovering. THANKS GUYS...

Good pizza. Thats about where it ends for Pizza Time. Conveniently, there are no signs stating that they only take cash. And this wouldnt make me mad if they were not so commanding that you NOT move past the end of the counter before receiving youre food. A female held her arm out just to point out how far may could go. This is because once you get youre food, (in my case; 4 slices, 3 garlic knots) you move down five feet to find a small sign saying "CASH ONLY". And conveniently there is a ATM machine. So now here you are standing in front of this teenage/twenty something girl holding a credit card. And she says "we only take cash". Again, the pizza is good and if I had known I was going to pay an extra $4 dollars just to take out money to pay $20 for pizza, youre damn right I would have gone to another place. But I would have also returned at a later time with cash. Now even if I have a million dollars on one dollar bills in a large Duffel bag and they were the only restaurant open, I would go somewhere else. Its deceptive and unethical. Every person in line behind me had to use the ATM and the girl at the register was very unapologetic about it, but Im sure she has to say it a lot. Because...wait for it. They only except cash. And idiot tourist who try to travel safely and not carry cash get ripped by this type of deception. I said to the girls at the register, "you would think there would be a sign near the door saying "cash only" but she didnt have a thing to say, again, Im sure she hears that a lot. Word to the owners of Pizza Time in St Augustine on St. George St; put a sign out front or stop being so cheap and pay the .00432 cents per transaction it would cost you to get a credit/debit machine. And try to be a good merchant instead of a scummy penny pincher. If you are going to miss that money you get from the ATM machine, just raise your prices. Im sure people will still buy your pizza, not me, but some people will.
