WE FOUND HAIR IN ALL THE FOOD!!! BEWARE! BE READY FOR A HAIRY EXPERIENCE AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE This is the WORST experience Ive ever had in any restaurant in my life. My three friends and I decided to order this food as take out and it was a terrible idea. While we were at home eating it the four of us found HAIR in our food! At first, I thought I was going to let it slide when I saw the hair in my food but then my friends told me they had hair in their food too. It was truly disgusting. So I decided to call the place and ask for an explanation. They told me to go back in and so we did. The person there was probably the rudest person Ive ever encountered in the food industry. He kept denying what happened even though the hair was there. He was mean and disrespectful. He whipped out his iPad mini and took a video of us while we explained what happened until I asked for him to stop. Highly unprofessional. Not only that but he was yelling at us and said we were just "teenagers" when first of all it does not matter! and second of all our crew was in their mid-twenties. Just disrespectful. Then a lady came and told him to just give us a refund for the overly expensive sesame chicken, orange chicken, and pork. We werent looking to get money back we just wanted to make things right and give them the chance to fix the problem. He did not want to do this but when he did he threw our credits cards around and was just overall rude to our crew. He kept laughing at our faces saying how this is impossible. The lady kept saying how its not right for us to lie but so we were accused of lying as well. I drove back 15 mins to the restaurant when we found the hair. Why would I waste my time, gas and come back just so I could do this? The reason why I came back is because I find it unacceptable to find 4+ hair in our meat. I will try to upload pictures of the hair so you can see for yourself. I understand sometimes mistakes happen but finding hair EMBEDDED in every type of meat we ordered is not okay at all. And what makes this even worse is their TERRIBLE customer service. We were treated like nothing but trash. The least they could have done is giving us an apology but we were met with extreme anger.

China Chalet Like many authentic Chinese restaurants, the chefs head pokes out the kitchen door to see his countrymen when other Chinese/Chinese-American people are seated. The menus written in Chinese come out, and the grand negotiation of what is good that day and how many people feel like what the waiter deftly decides what it is that will finally be communicated to the Chef and its off to the races. Grandly prepraed appetizers with carved bird heads in mellon and other presentation delights emerge from the kitchen - spicy razor clams, and other spicy hot appetizers and entrees pile on. That has been my last years experience of attending almost weekly lunches with a table full of Chinese-American colleagues - and they do not suffer fools or bad food. This is in stark contrast to my own experinece at the same restaurant two years ago - ordering from the english menu. The service, necessarily stiff as I could not enter the song of the real-thing .... the hot & sour soup was not spiced well - in deference I suppose to assumption about my more local tastes ... and this was the backdrop to my suprise enjoyment by attending with a table full of foreign locals - So - really very good authentic food - youll get a better meal if you bring along a translator that you give ordering authority to and join in family style dining.

My wife and I have tried this place four times. Ive found this to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. Their Mushu pork dish is excellent and have consistently liked the steamed dumplings. I took the previous posters advice and asked the waiter about their sichuan specialties and so far have tried the chicken with 3 peppers and the beef with cabbage. Both dishes I loved, but you MUST like very spicy dishes to order them. The had a lot of flavor. Weve tried a couple other dishes on the menu which we have mixed feelings about. I cant remember exactly which ones, but something on the order of a beef and broccoli type dish. We found them to be very low on greese, which we really liked, but also somewhat mild in flavor. Overall, very consistent, tasty, and good service. Ive tried a couple other places in the area since moving, and this is easily my favorite.

Excellent Chinese food, at a price. Ive eaten here several times, and find it to be Chinese food at a level thats definitely above your average neighborhood Chinese restaurant, but beforewarned that its a little more expensive too. Its not Chengdu 46 (Clifton) expensive, mind you, but its not cheap. If youre in the area and want decent Chinese in a clean (read: date-appropriate if your date is not Paris Hilton) dining environment with good service, go here, but if you want food at a similar (good) level or slightly better, check out Petite Soochow (waaaaay worse service, somewhat better pricing, somewhat better food), or Chef Jons (slightly worse service, substantially better pricing, somewhat better food).

I have eaten sichuan food all over the world - including in Chengdu ,China (sichuan provence) - and the food here is the real deal, and absolutely amazing. Chef makes it hot and tingling if you desire - try the Kung Pao Chicken with peanuts - and ask for it "MA LA" (spicy) and your mouth will dance with flavors. The whole fish - with spicy brown sauce is perfection... and for those desiring a real authentic treat - try the cold appetizers Tripe with spicy vinaigrette - or Sliced beef tender with roasted chili - it is very much like beef jerky in an amazing sauce... you will come back over and over again...

Authentic Chinese. Delicious. Ridiculously fast service. The food must be (partially) pre-prepared, but you cant tell. The thick and starchy sauces are what makes the difference. A little on the price-y side. ~$3 more per dish than average. Pretty seating area. Recommended: Diced Chicken Sauteed w. Three Types of Pepper (Sanbeiji) - Doesnt resemble the dish in the slightest, but its delicious. Not spicy, a little peppery; Luffa with Tofu (Sigua Doufu) - Pricey, but tasty Okay: Crispy Fish with the red, sweet sauce - Tasty, but the sauce was too sweet (as is common in restaurants).

The food was amazing. We chose to eat our food family style. We got the heavenly chicken, moo shoo pork, green beans, cashew shrimp pawns, pork buns, and shrimp toast. It was all delicious. The service was excellent and very attentive. What we especially loved was that the food wasnt soaked in oil. We cant wait to go back.

The food was quite good, but it was the most expensive Chinese meal I have ever had. 3 adults and 2 toddlers and it was $82. Strangely, they dont serve Egg Foo Young. Szechuan Lamb was nice, fried rice was good. All good, but not substantially different than any other Chinese restaurant, except the price was quite high.
