I have to say not only was this the most expensive pizza Ive ever had, but it was also among the worst. My party of 3 arrived and were told it would be a 20 - 25 minute wait and they would text us when the table was ready, no big deal so we went to the car to listen to some music. After about 15 minutes we got a call, not a text, that our table was ready. When we went back inside the hostess was talking to a waitress for a solid 2 minutes before even acknowledging us. They then proceeded to seat us outside, in the blaring midday heat. They claimed that we said outside was fine when we put our name in but none of us recall that. We decided to take the table anyway and when we were seated one of my party members asked if she was allowed to smoke outside, since there were ashtrays over by the bar, but our waitress didnt know and said shed get back to us. Our waitress came and took our drink order, 1 beer and two waters with lemon. Only one water came back with lemon, which if you know Florida tap water, is not good. At first glance of the menu I was floored by the ridiculous prices, $25 for a "large" Gourmet White Pizza. "Large" here being a small anywhere else. However, after hearing so many rave reviews I thought maybe it was worth it, so thats what we ordered. About 10 minutes into waiting for our pizza my girlfriend informed me that they had one of my favorite beers, and for the next 10 minutes I attempted to flag down a waitress so I could order one. I even called out to one once after she finished tending to another table but she kept on walking, even the party at that table looked shocked because there was no way she didnt hear me. Eventually I just gave up and figured Id order my beer when the pizza came. When our pizza arrived the first thing I noticed was how small it was, then how uneven the thickness was around the entire pie. They barely even cut the pizza and it was very difficult to cut with the pizza server we were given. The onions and tomatoes on top were completely raw, and there was literally one sun dried tomato on the entire pie. The cheese was.. cheese, the menu claimed there was feta in there but it definitely did not have the salty acidic bite I would have expected. There were several parts of the pie that were all crust with no toppings at all nearly 4 or 5 inches into the center.. which brings me to the crust. This pizza crust was an absolute abomination to the world of pizza. I am thoroughly convinced that everyone raving about it is stoned out of their mind. First off, it is extremely dense, almost like an English muffin. Secondly, its yellow? Why is it yellow you ask... A little poking around the internet lead me to the speculation that it contains molasses.... MOLASSES!.. in pizza... My entire Italian ancestry turned over in their graves. It has the color, texture, and flavor of a cross between an egg bagel and a whole wheat cracker, no business being part of a pizza. Im not the kind of person to complain at a restaurant just because something is bad, there wasnt anything technically wrong with the pizza, its just not good pizza. So we just ate it quietly and left. I understand this location just opened as well but I doubt I will be giving it a second chance. Oh and nobody ever got back to us about the smoking outside.

This was my first time that I have ever been here, and I would defently recommend anyone and everyone to go try out Mellow Mushroom! It was great! We had a group of us (6 adults, and a baby), and we all fit in one of their big booths right to the left of the front door, and next to the bar. Plenty of room for all of us. So dont worry if you have a group that size. Let me mention how great our waiter was. .. His name was Uryan (Something like that, and not sure of the spelling), but he was great! Very attentive in our needs and always refilling our drinks, and a very nice guy. Always smiling! :o) Now for the food. .. Yummy Yummy, in my tummy! And I mean this too. We had a few Ceasar salads, good. Also these yummy garlic parm pretzels for appetizer, soooo good! They also have other flavors, even desert ones. I will try those next time. Now for the pizza. One of the best pizza places Ive ever eaten at. We had 2 large pizzas, and split one of them into two types. We had half a buffalo chicken and half a house pizza, and one whole large with feta, chicken, unions, and red peppers. They were all very, very good! Now we didnt get desert, but it looked really good. We were too full by that time. Next time I will get the one with the peanut butter cookie and have it sundae style. I cant wait! Also they have really cool shirts for sale, and I will be getting one of them next time also. So cool! Now for an end note, If you go to Groupon they may have a deal for you. We used are deal from Groupon and it worked great and saved us money off our total bill. So if you would like to try this place, go there first to see if they still have the deal going on, or keep an eye out and they may have it again later on. Enjoyed this restaurant a lot, and I hope this review helps you with your decision to visit this restaurant.

First review, do note, I never write these things ever. I normally just deal with issues and go along my way. As long as no one messes with my money Im good... Our server wasnt too knowledgeable on the drink menu and upon her recommendation of a specific drink (she brought the sample to me), she ended up bringing me the wrong drink. She never showed up again until dinner was ready. Im glad the manager showed up and explained that the server had hit the wrong button for my drink. Once dinner arrived, our server reappeared and blame the mistake on the bartenders... Okay... anyways, after dinner I got my bill and put in promotional dollars (covers only food) worth and my card for the difference. Soon after I get the receipt, I leave a tip and I am about to sign the receipt. I noticed a reprint on the receipt and just assumed that the receipt paper ran out of paper (that happens all the time; I use to be a server). After I get home, I get a charge notice from my bank (they are always on point). The charge was for the entire bill excluding the promotional dollars. Maybe Ill be scheduled a refund for the difference, I dont know; regardless, for our server to not say anything, is pretty appalling. You messed up? You own up to it! I know I have back in my serving days. I will be calling them to ensure I get the difference but still, this is the 2nd time I dined with them at this location and something went wrong. Ive also dined with them in West Palm Beach multiple times (my ex loved their food and but we hated their service) and I think Ill pass on Mellow Mushroom... Id give them four stars because their food is great, but they get two stars because their servers could be more attentive and honest.
