My friends and I hardly have time to get together these days and we were all really excited to finally catch up over, what we knew was going to be a delicious dinner at Mignonette. We booked a reservation days in advance with excitement to celebrate Galentines Day together. When we showed up just a few minutes before our 8:45 pm reservation the hostess seemed confused and called on to (what I assume) was the manager. He looked up our name and told us that they had called earlier to confirm our reservation and we told him to cancel it. After politely telling him that nobody had called us and showing him our recent calls list on our cell phone, proving that their restaurant never called us, he continuously (like a broken record) insisted that we cancelled. We asked him what number they dialed and they told us a number that none of us recognized. EVEN THEN the manager still insisted that we cancelled our reservation. Ive lived in Miami my entire life and I have never been so appalled by such poor hospitality. There was no apology for the mix up. No willing to try to work with us and get us a table. All this guy would say is "you cancelled your reservation and now we dont have a table for you." Its safe to say that Mignonettes management knowingly messed up, overbooked and wouldnt own up to it. It is such a disappointment, since we were all looking forward to dining there. I will never recommend either location to friends, family, or visitors from out of town knowing that their management is by far the rudest Ive ever dealt with.

I have been going to Mignonette for a couple of years. The food and service have been excellent which is the reason my family and I have been going back over and over again. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience on Friday March 13th 2015. I had made reservations as I always do before going to the theatre. When I arrived at 6:20 PM the place was only a quarter full and we were asked to sit on a corner table in the back room. When I asked to sit in our usual place in the front room the hostess said those tables were numbered and reserved. I told her I never heard of all tables in a restaurant reserved by numbers and ask to speak to the manager. I explained the situation to him. He was incredibly rude and told me to leave the place since they didnt appreciate my sort of people there. I have never been so badly treated, my family and I eat out at different restaurants once or twice a week. I am certainly never going back there again.

I have been to Mignonette a few times in the last 6 weeks. The food is excellent. Always an unbelievable selection of fresh oysters, and their chowder, bisque and gumbo bowls (CBGB) are exquisite. I love seafood and this place has it. Possibly the best crab cake I have ever eaten. Mussels, clams, fish, great sides and a nice wine list round things out. They also have fare for those who are vegetarians and some things for meat lovers too. Even on a Monday night a reservation was necessary and the place was packed. It is a bit noisy and could use some sound attenuation, but when you are eating food this good, who cares if you have to shout across the table to have a conversation.

This place is fire. Straight fuego. I love Blue Collar so I was excited to try Mignonette. This place does not disappoint! Everything was cooked and flavored impeccably with amazingly attentive service, great ambience. I loved the wine and beer selection, plus fresh fresh seafood. I loved every minute. So worth the value, the group behind these restaurants are a true gem and unparalleled in the Miami scene. Im your biggest fan! =)

Terrible food, very salty and we got sick with seafood poison, that is the reason the food is very salty to change the real flavor of the seafood. We called the manager of the restaurant, Ronald, to report our bad experience at the restaurant and he told us in a very rude way to go the hospital, very poor customer skills. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Ordered: 1/2 dozen oysters, chilled king crab, lobster. Chilled king crab was cooked very well tender and succulent but was a little salty to my likings. The oysters were fresh tasting, shucked and cleaned very well. The lobsters were awesome cooked just right. Will come again for lunch soon

Sadly my experience was very dissatisfying. The white wine menu is good, but out of the selection only 30% available. Very small portions. We orders the main course and after 15 min the server informs that only one grouper is available out of the two ordered. Quality of food ok

Best seafood in Miami. Great oysters from all over the world. Great wine selection to go with it. Dessert is great too. Menu is a bit confusing at first. With oysters, a full meal, and wine, youll get out for around 70 bucks. Cannot recommend it enough.

We split the Scallop appetizer and I had the Lobster Roll for lunch, it was awesome. Chef Nick spent time talking to us and treated us to their delicious Bread Pudding. Were in town for 3 more days, and were going to eat here every meal we can!

Amazing seafood place! The service was excellent and the ambience was peaceful but fun. Their "popcorn" Shrimp where ginormous. And the potato chips that come as a side where to die for. Pricing was fair. Cant wait to go again.

Staff were not friendly. Hostess smiled once but never spoke a single word. We waited longer than is customary to take our drink order. The evening felt awkward as the staff waited on us.

Great place for seafood. They have an excellent happy hour if you sit at the bar. The service is usually spot on when it is not overly busy. I live the lobster roll and fancy redfish.

Great seafood restaurant. Small, intimate space. Very friendly staff. Reasonable prices. And most importantly, the food is delicious. Worth checking out, if you can find parking.
