I started going to delta Pizza when I was young. Growing up in delta their wasnt much else to see or do. Sal knew this and saw the community needed something more. The pool hall was free the food was great. Sadly the old shop burnt down due to faulty wiring and with it went the heart of the town. The freezing winter that followed saw a kindling flame as the shop was being redesigned and rebuilt. In a matter of months the hearth was at full flame and delta was alive again. A few comparisons to take notice of are the changes in the food, the entertainment, and the family friendly environment. The food was great originally but is now outstanding in my personal opinion. The ingredients are as fresh as we can possibly get them and are prepared by some of the most splendid chefs, myself included. The new DP as its referred to now has weekly entertainment including Trivial Tuesdays for those who wish to show how much random knowledge theyve acquired in their life. As well as musical talents Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Now you might ask yourself where a band would play in a pizza shop? Well in the New DP Lounge of course. And of course Mr. Ferranti invested in a beautiful bar to watch football at , chat with friends over some drinks, or simply relax and unwind after a hard day of work. The pool hall is still free to this day and holds APA pool league several nights a week. Overall my experience at Delta Pizza as a customer is amazing. But my true joy is having the chance to give others that same amazing experience. - A DP Cook

This place has amazing pizza! Garlicky crust, gooey delicious cheese, and the perfect amount of toppings. Best pizza in the world (which is really saying something!) You really get your moneys worth: the pizzas are huge! I have also tried most other things on the menu, awesome subs, salads are humongous and they dont skimp on the toppings. They have a pretty good beer selection for those who are into craft brews or just want a generic beer. After the fire, they re-opened and now have a beautiful eating area with huge tvs, a quieter front eating area where you can view the pizzas being made, a great bar and a back deck with a wooded view (which I love!). The service is pretty good most of the time, nothing stellar or phenomenal, but not bad, which is why my rating holds at 5 stars. I have been eating here for years, and will continue to! I love Sal and his team, and especially the white pizza (YUM!).

Delta pizza is a wonderful place to sit down and relax. Have the option to eat great food or have a beer or two. All the employees are excellent and will provide you with any of your needs or wants. Also have the option to go down and shoot pool show what your made of or could possibly join APA pool leagues and test your limits to high ranked players. Delta pizza ranked 1st place within five counties for the best food and lounge to include Hartford county. If you never came to DP check it out and see how great the place really is.

Outstanding. I was sad to see the old Delta Pizza go after a fire but Im so happy to see the new Delta Pizza and Lounge. The food is absolutely fabulous. My wife and I had two different dinner entrees that were absolutely outstanding. We also ordered the sweet and spicy wings and the crab cheese bites. The wings were as spicy as I could take it and were so delicious that I could not stop eating them. The crab bites were just awesome. The service was outstanding. Cant wait to come back from Baltimore. Great Job.

We went there on a Saturday night to see a local band the band was fantastic they are called Gable however you would think a Saturday night with a band would justify more than appeared to be only one waitress also had to wait a long time to get a beer at the bar because the bartender wasnt behind the bar food was okay fried pickles and fried mushrooms were a little over cooked and the pizza definitely needs some flavoring kind of bland wasnt offered any Parmesan cheese or other piece of condiments

Been going to Delta Pizza since the 80s, love the fact that they deliver out here in the country. Yes it may take a little extra time to get to us, but we account for that when we order. We tend to order from them a few times a month. Awesome food and service! So glad they decided to rebuild after the fire a few years ago. The back bar is great for bands and hanging out. Last time I was there I so my buddies The Jane and it was like a high school reunion in there! What a great night.

Food is great but the delivery sucks! By the time the food gets to you it usually is cold/soggy. If you pick it up or eat in then its wonderful but the delivery part needs a little work. The owner sal is also very professional and nice. The employees are also friendly and nice. The only complaint I have is the time they take for the food to come. They give you a time estimate when you call but almost %99 of the time is like over a hour late even if you live on the same road.

The owner Sal is absolutely amazing. He does more than anyone I know for the community from donating his time to helping anyone and everyone in a time of need in any way he can. He really strives for a better reputation of the town his business is in instead of the reputation it has now. Sal also stands behind the food he serves 100% and is a wonderful boss and genuinely cares about his employees!! Keep up the great work!!

Food is the best around. Theres a sign at the entrance that says they won an award for best food in the 5 counties and after trying a bunch of dishes on the menu, I can see why. They have a home made bread that is awesome. Their pasta dishes are rich in flavor and size. They have live entertainment on weekends. Really cool place with a full bar. Awesome atmosphere. We love it.

I am From Baltimore City and i was very surprised that this little place had the best pizza I ever ate. Its authentic New York style. The man who took my order asked me "how my day was?". Great service and great prices. I was very suprised since I live about 2 hours away and get less quality food for about %30 more cost. I say try this place over any big chain!

I think this place is fantastic. Food and service is some of the best I ever had. Owner is always there to greet you. They have a lounge in the back where they do daily events. My family goes to this place all the time and we can have a great time without spending a fortune. Worth the 25 mi. drive for sure. This place is def. a 5 star.

Delta Pizza is back and better than ever, the atmosphere is so wonderful and the food is delicious and so much more affordable than most places. It is by far one of my absolute favorite places to eat. My family loves it as well and Sal is such a great guy and really goes above and beyond for his community and his customers!
