Service was great ! Martini wasnt as dirty as I would like but good. We brought our kids and one ordered off the kids menu the 8 yr old ordered the pan seared salmon... she eat just about every bite. We had the calamari for an appetizer, both kids ate the majority of it but I found it a refreshing change for the norm served with marinara dipping sauce. The wife had the scallops and risotto which I only had one bite and I got the hanger steak with chimichurri. I requested med/rare it came out well done. I usually dont say anything but I did this time and the our waiter picked it up immediately and said they would bring me a new plate asap. Great customer service! They also brought out a comp plate of Brussels sprouts....and sweet Jesus they were top 3 Ive had.. rivaling Tyler Coles of Uchi in his Austin and Houston restaurants. Oh and the kiddos ordered two desserts. Im not a dessert guy but the creme b and the chocolate gnocchi are up there.

Nichole, Chris, Molly and Cale were incredible! And you know the food was incredible as usual...please tell chef he and his staff did an amazing job. My client was VERY pleased with the service, the food, the venue and the price point. Thank you so much for all that you do for us here at the events team when speaking to my new team mates we reference the level of service we get at other venues and use your venue and service as a benchmark.... you have simply spoiled us!! You and your team make my job so much EASIER!! I was actually able to leave my client and his guests there and go home early which was awesome. I NEVER worry about the level of service or the quality of food when I book at one of your locations... I know its always going to be incredible. I LOVE this spot! The new menu is wonderful! Get the Brussel Sprouts....I crave these, they are deep fried and have a wonderful glaze on them...amazing. Many years ago (probably 4) we were un-impressed. The food was over priced and sub-par, and we didnt want to go back. Fast forward years later, we were to meet a friend there and she insisted that the food was great and menu changed...am thrilled we listened. All the food is wonderful, drinks are creative and the service was great. We regularly dine here. In addition, I have hosted my company Christmas party here the past two years. We reserve out the upstairs and have a very memorable event. Starts with the private bar and a heavy appetizer spread, then into a sit down, menu planned, wonderful dinner for 35. Highly recommend this for a dinner date or for a larger event.

I LOVE this place! The food is really great. The first time I came here I had the Red Snapper, but by far my favorite thing is the Hub Burger. I visited with some family members the first time and we shared the Spinach Cheese Dip, which was divine. The interiors are just gorgeous, its got such a great vibe for hanging out. There is an upstairs bar which is cozier and quieter than the open downstairs dining and bar area. The service was pretty good, no real complaints there and the value was also good for the quality of food. Ive been to Hubbard Grille two or three times now and I will definitely be back again. :)

I recently dined at Hubbard Grille with my husband after doing some holiday shopping in the Short North. It was a great way to cap off our evening, the specialty cocktail took the edge off the stressof shopping! The staff was very welcoming and our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Our shrimp and grits appetizer was tasty and hearty, but not too heavy. I was able to find a wine that paired great with the Duck entree which was prepared perfectly. We will definitely go back to Hubbard Grille, especially in the warmer months when the wall of windows open up for more al fresco dining!

I had their $10 half chicken and beer Tuesday night special, and the best I can say is that it was ok. I wasnt a big fan of the grits, and I didnt really care for the gravy. It was very salty. The chicken itself also wasnt overly impressive. It looked amazing, the whole plate did really, but it didnt live up to its promise. However, I love the vibe in Hubbard Grill. They have great music in the background (think The Black Keys, The Strokes, etc.), and decor is stylish and modern. Color and furniture selection is perfect for creating a comfortable yet hip (not hipster) feeling.

One of our regular favorites in the area. Love the atmosphere of the location and a varied selection of food makes it an enjoyable experience. It does end up a tad bit on the expensive end, but just plan for it and its still tasty. Usually good service, but has had a couple times where it take quite a while for food to come out to you. We also had one evening where we were seated, and 20 minutes went by with no server checking in. We ended up walking out without even seeing the server.

Had an amazing experience at Hubbard last week! We had booked the upper level bar and dining area for our rehearsal dinner. We didnt have a formal dinner but had appetizers ans drinks instead....our friends and family loved it! Kale was one of our bartendees and he took care of me all night, making sure my water glass was always full and that I didnt lose my wine glass! In addition, the appetizers were unbelievably yummy! Thanks Hubbard for the perfect start to our wedding weekend!

Came here with my wife for lunch on her birthday. Shes vegetarian, I. Im an omnivore. We split brussel sprouts, a beet and arugula salad, a spicy cauliflower sandwich and fries. Our food was delicious. The ambiance is great. Our server was awesome, even bringing out some cake and ice cream with a lit candle for my wife. Im glad there were good vegetarian options. The rest of the menu looked great too. Previous experiences here have been great as well.

Way overpriced, if you are going to spend the money go to Alanas, Basi, Black Creek Bistro at least the food will be good but please go any place but here. The service was HORRIBLE, the menu says if you are not satisfied speak to the manager. That only works if the manager cares, emailed them through their website never got a response. Had the fried chicken, way overcooked. Waited an hour and half past our reservation time.

Very great quality meals and appetizers with a beautiful environment. The Short Ribs and Shrimp and the Crunchy Brussel Sprouts appetizers are always excellent and the Cajun Spiced Mahi Mahi is my favorite meal yet -- great flavors. The manager Greg is incredibly friendly and left us with an awesome experience! My father rarely raves about restaurants but after coming here he could not stop. Highly recommend this place.

Prices seemed a bit high for quality of food under regular circumstances, but not unreasonable. However in this visit I ordered a sausage-shrimp gnocchi that Im pretty sure was responsible for food poisoning (hadnt eaten anything else all day) as the taste did seem a bit off. My guests fried chicken and our mutual appetizer were fine though. Im hoping I just had a fluke of off food. Atmosphere otherwise was pleasant.
