On 1/13/17, a Friday night, we had a group of about 20 meet at the restaurant around 5:30pm to celebrate a co-workers retirement. We decided ahead of time we would pay our own tabs as the group prices were extremely high for what they offered. Fortunately, when we arrived, the place was pretty empty so we immediately went to the outdoor patio area to order drinks and enjoy the view.....which was beautiful. They advertise their Happy Hour is from 4 - 7 pm, with 1/2 price drinks, and they have a bar menu (appetizers) in addition to the regular dining menu. The problems arose when some of our group (including me) opened a bar tab, then sat down at one of the outside tables and ordered an entree from the dinner menu. Thats when we were informed by one of the wait staff that, if you sit down at a table and order from the dinner menu, Happy Hour prices for drinks dont apply and you have to pay full price for your drink. As a result, those of us who opened a bar tab had to close our tabs because the bartender would not take drink orders from us and we couldnt take advantage of Happy Hour prices any longer! I have never in my life been to a restaurant that has double standards on drink prices during Happy Hour! If I had known, I wouldnt have ordered the burger from the dinner menu for $20, I wouldve ordered the mini sliders (2 for $10) from the bar menu! So those who ordered food refused to pay full price for a drink during Happy Hour and ended up drinking water the rest of the time. The restaurant is foolish because they certainly lost money! The outside area is not that big and only has a couple places for someone to sit and eat if they order an app from the bar menu; so, be warned, dont sit at a table if youre outside and order from the bar menu because youll be told the tables are for dining patrons only! RIDICULOUS (and they watch like hawks)! A paying patron is a paying patron, whether their buying drinks or apps or an entree! Also, their appetizers are extremely small for the price and nothing to rave about! Bottom line....the restaurant should honor Happy Hour prices on ALL drinks during the prescribed time frame whether youre sitting at the bar or sitting at a table; the food isnt anything to rave about; and check your bill, because they overcharged several of us and had to correct the charges! IMO, its not worth the hassle. Except for the view, we were VERY disappointed and many of us agreed we would not return!

One of the great stuff of being in Miami is that it can be "Winter" and you still can have a nice meal in a outdoor restaurant, me and two friends decide to have a nice lunch in this restaurant because their heard wonderful thing about the food and server of this place. We arrived the hostess find a perfect spot for us with a nice view to the city of Miami. They have a great lunch combo special that include a Appetizer and a Entree, but depending on the entrees that you order the price may vary few bucks. You have the option from a great variety of appetizer from good salad to a good plate of veggies; I went for the option of the Calamari al Pepperoncine Flatbread. The FlatBread was absolutely Delicious! Chopped up bits if pepperoccine mixed into whole circular pieces of perfectly seasoned calamari on top of a flatbread cut into six pieces. Great option to started. For my entree I chooses the churrasco absolutely delicious and cook Medium, which was served with sauces and French fries on the side. Although this dish is totally delicious, I regret not ordering the Filet Mignon, which was order by my others friends, I was able to taste a little of it, and this was taste better than the churrasco, not that the churrasco had a bad taste is that the Filet was much better. So next time I know what I going to order. The server was extremely on top of things, knowledgeable, friendly and generally had a lot of common sense.

Preis/leistung stimmt. Essen i.O. obwohl weder die feinste noch die italienischste Küche. Entree, Bar und Restaurant sind in dieser Reihenfolge abnehmend originell. Alles sehr voll, alles sehr laut (viele Gruppen, die hier auch unter der Woche ihre Geburtstage, Verlobungen, etc. feiern), alles sehr Latino, alles sehr Miami :-) Die Eigenwahrnehmung des Personals ist besser als der Service und das permanente Nachfragen des Chef de Sevice nicht nur künstlich und bemühend, sondern schon bald der running Gag des Abends. Sicher ein guter Tip für die lokal aufstrebende Jugend umd ein Farbtupfer im Tourismusführer, aber nicht unbedingt die erste Adresse für einen kultivierteren Abend.

Yesterday 11/11/2010 I was very surprised and happy when I husband took me for a dinner @ Crazy about you. The Decor is beautiful, the service is excellent, the views are spectacular and the food is marvelous. Now the best part of all is the prices ….it so cheap! We had 2 entrees (if you buy an entree you are obligated to get an appetizer witch you can also take home if you prefer all for $20 bucks) The croquettes that I had where really good, my husband ordered the Chihuahua cheese which was also very good, and we order a bottle of the house Merlot ($13) we didn’t like the wine it was a little too sweet. When we finished the first bottle we order another bottle of an Italian Chianti ($30) this one was GREAT! Then for entrees I had the Mike’s slow braised steak that was AWESOME and my hub got the Pork Ossobuco that was fantastic. To finish it all we order for $5 the message in the bottle dessert and it was sooooooooooo good! The best part, we paid $95.00 and we couldn’t believe it! After all these food, great service and two bottles of wine it is very hard to compete. We loved the experience and will for sure be back very soon! (OBS: They don’t have parking so you have to pay Valet which is $8 but it is well worth it!!!)

I can say that the place is beautiful but the service kills the vibe. My boyfriend took me there the last valentines day and they made us wait for 3 hours to be seated. then when we got inside, they started saying that they didnt have any churrasco or chicken. so we ordered some shrimp risotto with mushrooms. wile we were waiting for our food they brought us some appetizers, which were amazing. but then they came with the news that they didnt have any shrimps. we got super upset, of course. the manager told us they could give us some risotto with double mushrooms and chicken, I mean, some old chicken that they had. which we didnt want. also I asked for a lemonade and they told me they didnt have lemons, unbelievable! we got so upset that we just left the restaurant hungry and disappointed. they ruined our valentines night. we couldnt believe that an expensive restaurant in the middle of downtown miami could be such a disaster. I dont think this place should have the reputation it has. sincerely I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. I HATED IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night we went to Crazy About You for my friends 26th birthday. I made a reservation last week on open table. When we got there, we had to wait over 30 minutes for a table, even with the reservation. The kitchen was a little backed up they said. But the hostesses and one of the managers on the floor were all very accommodating. Once we sat, our waiter was extremely helpful. He explained the menu since we hadnt been there before, and helped us order. We were a party of 6 and pretty much ordered different things. The timing of the food was great. We spent our time talking and didnt really sit impatiently for our food. The food was amazing. We were all so happy with our choices. I got the calamari flatbread and it was amazing. House chardonnay was very nice also. Our waiter was extremely nice and funny, and even the floor manager came over to ask how our experience was. A great place with great food and atmosphere. We will surely be going back soon!
