The food is good, so I took my mum here. Even I am a Chinese I think I should speak out(in Chinese and English). The girl asked me to pay 10% to 15% tips even she did AF. 这边都要给10-15%小费的。 I feel so silly now because I did. Last time, I came with my friends,an elder women serve us, she is so nice. But today, that short hair fat girl (sorry, not being mean to her outlook, just want to specifictly point out who did it to us). When she talked with us, she used Chinese, my mum said "you speak Chinese also". Mymum is surprised, but the server looked at my mum like she is an ET. I thought she knew we are new here from my mum, that may be the reason why she did that. I felt so bad when I saw her face express. I think tips is paid when you like her serves, I pay addition 2-3 as she gave us a drink when we ask her to do and gave us box. But I dont think she deserve that 2-3 dollar tho, dont like her. I paid her 10% at the end and felt so bad. What do you think, I am curious about what the American think. I saw some stores already count the gratuity but they did serve us carefully, what do you think about it-those had gratuity include in your check? Back to the story, when she asked me to gave her tips I am so surprised. I have heard some similar stories in some Chinese stores. Now I wrote it down because I think those Chinese thing should be stopped.

Decent food, but order it to go. The restaurant is super tacky inside, in a very austere, cold way. The lighting is also very strange, a mixture of orange, red, and blue lights that dont make the food look especially appetizing. Its stuffed with tables, but when Ive been there theyve been mostly empty (for lunch). There isnt any WiFi, so dont expect to respond to any emails while you eat. I think the spiciness of the food is perfect, but I really like spicy food, so it would probably be too spicy for a lot of people. Also, youre going to be sad if youre trying to avoid eating rice/carbs. When I ordered the Szechuan Chicken with veggies instead of rice I was disappointed, and I left hungry. (See photo.) If youre looking for a quick Chinese lunch in the area, Id recommend going to Tokyo Bowl instead (on Evans by the Ben & Jerrys). Or, if you want to sit and talk with a friend, check out Jasons Thai across the street.

came here for some dry hot pot. food was ok but very pricey. rice is extra, which they didnt mention when we ordered (never been charged extra for rice at a hotpot place). The basic pot only has 4 veggies and everything else is extra and quite expensive (3 dollar for some pin mushroom, for example). They messed up our bill as well. prolly wont be back.

Pretty authentic Chinese food. Good enough that I usually see Chinese students from the University of Denver eating here. Choose the "spicy and hot" spice instead of the "spicy" spice -- its just a flavor difference and you can still get a mild version of "spicy and hot" if you want. More convenient than going back to China to eat.

I thought this place was a typical "dollar a scoop" kind of Chinese restaurant, but its SO much more. If youre in search of authentic Szechuan hot pot, youll get the flavors here. Dont let the small store front trick you, this is a sit-down restaurant for spicy, spicy food lovers.

We got the griddle cooked dish with lamb and bullfrog. It was great! This was one of my favorite styles of dish when I lived in Chengdu China, and this version definitely took me back there.

Worst place Ive ordered from. I wish you could see our plates. I got an order of pepper shrimp and an order of broccoli beef and we barely took 3 bites each. Nasty as f***
