Just plain awful. Our experience started with a basket of stale chips and watery salsa. I noticed on the menu that the first basket is free, subsequent chips are $2.95. Dont have to worry about that. Service was lethargic and disinterested. I ordered the "Westword Best of Denver" Tamale plate. Then we wait and wait and wait. I get through two flat Dos Equis and when the waiter asks me if I want a third beer, I say no I would like to get my food. When the Tamale plate arrives, the tamales are so hard I cant cut them with a knife - they are literally like dried up sticks of wood. I send them back, the waiter doesnt argue or apologize. I ask for the check and the waiter tells me that I wont be charged for the Tamale plate. Well, thats good, because I had absolutely no intention of paying for them anyway. There are some great Mexican restaurants in Denver, this place is hands down the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. Skip it.

Ive been eating at this place since I was 9 years old. First thing I tried were the shreaded beef tacos! Im 18 now and been back dozens of times and I have yet to change what I ordered the first time! My family and friends all love this place and its all ways a treat to go (even though its not expensive at all). My dad usually orders the shreaded beef stuffed sopapilla which Ive had bites of and think its great. The place is small but feels comfortable to me. Service is good and food comes quick. Shreaded beef with anything is the way to go here. Also they have the best flan you can get in colorado! All dessert is good at this place. Been my favorite restraunt since the first time I went and it continues to be!

Im giving the chef all the stars. The waitor was kind o a jerk. I was nearly ready to walk out but my family wanted to eat here. He Walked away from us ordering drinks didnt ask what my 3 year old wanted to drink. I asked from accross the room since he didnt come back to the table. This guy didnt give a $#i+. I felt like I didnt belong there. Lessoned learned. Anyway... You can tell im still stewin about this. I hated that I spent 70bucks on that kinda service. Ugh! I feel juked. If you dont give a $#i+ about how youre treated the food is good. Im sure thats not how most others feel but most others arent my style or race of person that come here.

Great family run, everything but chips taste like homemade in the joint! Everything is fresh and flavorful, salsa can bring tears to even the most hearty of hot and spicy lovers, tiny 10 or so table space can be hectic and noisy when busy, but by far the best Mexican food on Capital Hill/North Capital Hill. They definitely do NOT open a can of Old El Paso and pour some Velveta cheese on my plate or serve the lettuce buried slop served at most of the "Mexican" restaurants youll find in these neighborhoods. Only wish...bigger margaritas.

layout is small and cramped and not wheelchair-friendly - margaritas were very good. the food however, we couldnt finish it it was so bland and bad, we had the stuffed sopapillas and i also had a bowl of green chili (which i had to remind the waiter of), which was very thin and watery, nothing like the traditional consistency of green chili. the two small tortillas provided with the green chili were stale and hard in spots, cold and old. after lunch, my tummy was groaning for hours. next time were going to las delicias.

This wonderful, friendly, family-run, authentic restaurant has our favorite green chile, tamales, chimichangas, and soft (i.e. real) chile rellenos. The food is consistently uniquely wonderful and delicious, the service is consistently friendly and efficient, the environment is perfect, the patio is always tempting, and all three generations of the family that owns and operates La Pasadita are beautiful people. We sometimes err and try other Mexican Restaurants, but we always come back to La Pasadita.

Ive been going to La Pas for maybe seven years now. Huge fan of mexican food and though Ive been to a few other places that were comparable, they were around $14 a plate. Cant beat La Pas on price, and its just about as authentic as it gets. Small, great atmosphere with a fantastic outdoor patio for warm weather. Cant say enough about this place, anyone who complains about the food is simply looking for the equivalent of a Red Lobster for mexican food. Seriously, this place is legit.

We have been going to this wonderful little place for several years. Family owned and operated, this restaurant is humble but fantastic. I would characterize the flavor as Tex-Mex, with our favorites being the chile rellenos, guacamole, the unexpectedly-good margaritas, the outside patio and the family who always make us feel welcome. La Pasadita is quietly serving some of the best and most authentic Mexican food in town-- and they have tacky artwork as well.

Sweet atmosphere, cute building. I really wanted to like this restaurant. But there is virtually nothing for a vegetarian. No black beans, only pinto in lard. Rice is cooked in chicken stock. If it were only vegetarian unfriendly I would not mind...most restaurants arent great on that front. But the kicker was salt, salt, and more salt. Im not sure I have ever had this much salty food. Maybe an off night for the cooks...but that was my experience.

Im from Texas and Hispanic, I should be trusted with the opinion of Mexican food. I have been on a 7 month long search for a GOOD restaurant here in Denver. La Pasadita Inn, has surpassed that, and proved to be a GREAT place here in Denver. Like literally, every where else SUCKS...so dont waste your time when youre craving some great Mexican good. Thanks for ending my suffering and search La Pasadita Inn.

Have been going here weekly for years. Classic Denver mexican; chili "rellanos" are really just fried tortillas with a strip of chili, the salsa varies from mild to mind-blowing, the tall waiter has zero personality. But two people can eat dinner here (w/o drinks) for $8 each including tip, the patio is wonderful, and the chips and salsa are free. Hard to go wrong.

Wonderful find! I am from San Diego and this is fantastic Mexican food. I love their Machaca. The best Ive found in town. Creamy/buttery frijoles, thick/rich guacamole, and excellent tortillas. Small little hole in the wall (actually on a triangle corner). P.S. Is it right to slam a restaurant if youve only been there once? I dont think so...

My partner and I go out of our way to eat here and love it. Weve always had good service and the people are friendly. The chips are awesome and the beef flautas arent to be missed, we usually order the melted queso on top. Their rice and beans are awesome. Its affordable, laid back, and a little quirky. Best Mexican in the area on my opinion.

Good, delicious Mexican food, great service, friendly atmosphere and very reasonable prices. The fajitas are great, as is the green chili. The inside of the restaurant is small and modestly decorated. The patio is great in warmer weather. This restaurant is the opposite of what you find at "chain" restaurants: GREAT.
