Fast, Efficient, Easy, and Correct. I have only used the drive thru, but I have visited this restaurant four times. Each visit was on a different day at a different time of the day. Twice I have been the only one utilizing the drive thru, the other two I was behind some other customers. I have been impressed with the speed at which I have received my order. Almost immediate. I have never been in line for more than 1 or 2 minutes. The operators have never asked me two wait, and I have even heard the change in voices of someone else finishing my order, than the individual who started it, and no issues. They efficiently processed the order with no interruption or confusion. Every time I have pulled up to the window, they take my payment, and while processing it, they already are handing out my order. Badda Bing, Badda Boom, and I am driving away. One last item; I have a pet peeve with other fast food restaurants. I can order a HAMburger, specify no cheese, and receive a CHEESEburger. These restaurants will even repeat my order back to me with my choice, and still make an error. I have also been talked down to by other restaurant workers saying that the food I ordered doesnt come with cheese, and yet... theres cheese! Short Stop has never messed up my order, they have always made what I requested. They have never spoken down to me either. I hope they keep it up. It is hard to find a business with this type of proficiency.

When compared to Wendys, McDonalds, Burger King and even Sonic, which those Big Chain Storew may offer bigger burgers, the owner of Short Stop has a bigger heart. Known for cutting his paycheck short in order to pay his staff, the place and the food if profits that month dont turn out well. I can say Big Chain CEOs will likey charge more or fire staff in order to have more money in their pockets. But not the owner of Short Stop. While Big Chains hire experts to design their menu and suggest ideas. The owner looks to the Customers and ask them what they would like there. Hes truly all about the customers. So support a local guy and dont let one bad day ruin what may be the best experience you can have on another day or after that. I have been coming to short stop to support my local economy and to support a guy who cares about his customers and employee. So I havent ate at those Big Chains for the last 6 months and wont start again.

I havent eaten there in about 3 years because I moved north. I used to get burgers weekly. They were tasty and cheap. Today I ordered a burger and small Sprite. When she said $5.02, I was shocked. When she handed me the sack, I peered in hoping maybe the burgers had gotten bigger. Instead, it seemed smaller. So there I stood, no shelter, noisy cars, a tiny burger, and a small cup of Sprite. I stepped to the window and when they opened it, I handed them the bag and said, "Tell the owner he can keep this," and I walked away. Short Stop has forgotten what made them special. But wait! Maybe they had to increase price because of the high price of gas compared to 3 years ago. Ill bet thats it.

So after reading the reviews my husband and I decided to try it out and unfortunately I got my hopes up. we both ordered the shake combo because everyone was saying the shakes are great. In my opinion the shake was too sweet and just tasted like artificial strawberry syrup, not that great. one person commented on the price being too high for the burger you get and I agree with this. Not only did they get my burger wrong but it was small and greasy. When I get a greasy burger I expect amazing flavor that this burger lacked. The one saving grace of my meal was the frys, they were hot and really good. I dont know if we will be going back, maybe for the frys...

"Rip Off.. I payed over 8 dollar for a small dinky johnsonville brat and large fries and drink, definitely not satisfied with the value! I also asked for light ice on the drink and so they decide to fill the whole cup. This isnt my only bad experience with short stop, but it will be my last. They dont offer anything more special than regular fast food, in fact you will get better value and quality at any other mainstream fast food joint. The only way they get away with this is the good location, I recommend people pass for something better for the money!

So I have some knowledge of the place in the back of the house, which made me never go back again. Well for one whatever meat that has been cooked and is left over at night is held until morning (thats quality ), cross contamination of uncooked food and cooked food, as well with produce. Not to forget to not change your gloves because they are expensive... So if you been cleaning or handling uncooked food, you better not change your gloves. So think about your health first of you and loved ones.

Service has always been good. The food has gotten worse. I went about 3 months ago and the food was cold, fries were hard and tasted like fish. Stopped going there. Decided to go again today and the same thing. I will not visit this place again. Dont know what happened. Maybe ownership change? I wonder if the place is clean also. Who knows.

I came to short stop after I saw their commercial. I really love their milkshakes, one of the best Ive ever had! My boyfriend loves this place to. The staff is extremely friendly and never rude. The food is tasty and they have a good selection to choose from. The burgers arent as unique as I thought it would be, but still good!

One of the worst ever. All four of us couldnt even finish our meal... the burgers are awful, the price you pay not worth it. You would think you get fresh burgers not card board and under cook no less. $28.00 for 4 of us to eat. Not impress... if it was good food then it wouldnt be such an issue... Thanks but no Thanks.

Went today after watchin commercial for 2 months!!!! Too all my hood peeps the area is survivable really!!! Food off the chain!!!! Wanna go back rite now an just left!!!! Im from Chi an this place could stand on its own on the south side any day!!!! Shout out to ROSELAWN!!!!

A hot patty, melted cheese, but still ice cold lettuce on top. Mmm just the way I like it. Prices are a bit expensive for the size of the burger, but they are super tasty. Fries taste just like McDonalds, which is not a bad thing but for $7 I was still hungry at the end.

I just spent almost $4.00 in their Bratwurst and it only came with a brat and a bun!! No mustard or anything... you can bet I would rather have spent that elsware for a better quality bratwurst... Not going there anymore!! I dont recommend ordering that... Mike D.
