We decided to give this place a shot despite some of the reviews and I am glad we did. We went at noon on a Sunday so we thought wed wait but we didnt. Service: I read the review about the poor service so I was hyper-aware of ours. We were greeted after only a few minutes. It took us awhile to make up our mind but he kept checking on us. Our food came out 12 minutes after we ordered it. Either we got lucky or the other reviewer wasnt. I didnt see anyone doing anything unprofessional such as smoking and they all seemed consistently busy. There was a line by the time we left (~12:45). Food: We got two kids meals and three burgers: the Colorado, the Cubano, and the New Mexico Relleno. We tried the regular fries, sweet potato fries, green and red chile fries, and the fries with the Truffle mayo. We also tried the shake with the bacon in it (Elvis something). Everything was delicious. The standouts were the Colorado burger and the sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were among the best Ive had but I cant put my finger on why exactly. The Colorado burger is made with a couple types of lamb and has phenomenal flavor. All the ingredients seemed fresh and top notch. The Elvis shake was great too. Ive been wanting to try a dessert with bacon in it and I wasnt disappointed. Decor: Everything was clean which is all that matters to me in a restaurant. Tips: - Order less food than you think youll need or better yet, split a meal. Some loaded fries, a burger, and a shake would be more than enough for my wife and I and easier on the wallet (see below). We walked out with the equivalent of a full adult meal uneaten. - Eat your burger with a knife and fork. Im not a prude. I tried to eat it with my hands but the burgers are so loaded (especially the Cubano) there is no way to not look like caveman. I used enough napkins to hand wash a Prius. - Take an extra 20 out of the ATM. The burgers and the check are gourmet. A burger is around 10 dollars, drinks are 2, and shakes are 5. It was worth every penny.

My family and I have been here several times. I love trying out the different burger and shakes. Theres a such a large variety that anyone would enjoy. You can also try your burgers on a bed of lettuce instead. They also have wonderful sandwiches (the Kentucky is my favorite). Their fries are delicious with parmesan truffle, regular and sweet potato. I also stay up to date on what is their speciality burger. They last time I was in they had the Turkey Gobbler for Thanksgiving! All of the shakes are delicious and they have adult shakes if you prefer those. Crave just started a rewards card and we definitely use it! They also have a nice kids menu with lots of variety and a healthy variety I might add. Oh! I also love their salads. They are large and the best quality of ingredients which I definitely didnt expect from a burger joint. I dont think there is one bad item on the menu and we never had a bad experience with the wait staff. Interesting and unique places to eat are hard to find out west. We should know were originally from the south where great places to eat are on every corner. Just like the churches! lol! Go and have a wonderful experience for your taste buds at Crave!

I been here, I got my shirt here so yes I been here a LOT. The decor is a joke, and the place is an echo chamber. Came in under my recommendation for a business meeting, it was one of the loudest times in there and they were not even packed as we walked right to the large table on the left. We sat down, they kept turning the music up higher and higher to the point we had to yell to talk. We asked for them to turn it down which they DID, but 5 minutes later they turned it back up again, we asked probably 5-6 times each time it went down then minutes later it went right back up even louder. I had a 7 month old with me, she after a bit started to pull at her ears...come on people STOP TURNING IT UP so loud people come to eat and talk not to listen to cr apy music. The food is great, but the design is a joke. The owners have done well...so add some sound deadening materiel you cheap bastards. Im laughing as I know look at other reviewers saying Decor is Very Good...huh!!! Its plywood benching with a clear coat...the whole place speaks CHEAP when it comes to decor....LOL Must be employees being paid to leave reviews, a common feature of businesses to do ;-)

We have been there twice. Both times were great. Last time we went was for my sons birthday. We went rollerskating that night and decided to eat extremely late. We got to the restaurant 15 minutes before closing. Surprisingly, there were a few people left still eating. But we walk in and we get the stare from all the waitresses. I am sure it was because we showed up 15 minutes before closing and they had high hopes of closing immediately. Just so you know, staring at customers and gossiping about it, doesnt give you tips. I didnt tip because of their complaining, and yes, I could hear them and they werent talking far from my table. Were they friendly? Sort of. But they didnt come to check on us to ask how we were doing, or to fill up on our drinks when we wanted it. So... Customer service wasnt all that great, regardless if we are there a little late, it is still opened and you still need to look and act like a professional. I have a degree in business and customer service is what I am also certified in, and that service, was not proper.

THE BEST BURGERS OF COLORADO SPRINGS....NAY, DARE I SAY....THE U.S.A. Seriously folks. I love these burgers. Ive been there at least once a week for over a year....tried every burger on the menu and have not been disappointed once. Their chef knows how to use the basic essentials of a good classic American burger and bring out the subtleties of flavor previously reserved for the gods. The most important aspect of this joints burgers is their use of bacon. Do they have vegan options? Yes. Can they substitute options on their menu? Yes. But if you taste just once slice of their candy-caramelized bacon you will surrender yourself to whatever power they have harnessed in the kitchen to create these delicacies. Seriously...a Lovecraftian god could be responsible for this restaurants burgers and I would still keep going back for more. If its your first time then just start with the menu options with the trophies. Those are their award winning burgers that will get you hooked.

The good: Fantastic and unique burgers, fries, and shakes. (which can have alcohol!) This is my favorite burger joint! I highly recommend the Drunken Onion and Wiseguy burgers. The Buddha Belly is the best teriyaki burger Ive ever had, but is only available occasionally. As far as the fries, the truffle fries are the way to go. The service is fast and friendly. The bad: Theres no beer on tap and the prices are a bit high. Some of the shakes have chocolate even though it doesnt say so on the menu. This was very disappointing, so if you cant have chocolate be sure to let the wait staff know before you order a shake. Ive tried most of the burgers and my least favorite is either Sin City (too sweet) or the Cubano. (Too big, the flavors arent able to blend and it lacks a clear flavor theme) Overall I highly recommend Crave. Its a nice twist on the traditional burger place, and it gets all the fundamentals right. (Besides draft beer)
