We visited this establishment last night. Although we arrived at 445 they were extremely busy, but we understood and waited 30 minutes with two toddlers. The manager kept coming to the front to see what was going on with the tables. This made the wait less long, however, after he would step in the back the staff would roll their eyes and make comments. Very unprofessional. After we were seated, we were ready to enjoy a family fun dinner. Our waitress, Janelle, was not to be included in the "fun" night out we were hoping for. She was extremely rude. I believe she was overwhelmed. I ordered a cheeseburger kids-meal for my son, with just ketchup on it. When it came it was a hamburger. When I asked about the cheese she argued with me and said that "just ketchup on it" meant that there was no cheese on the cheeseburger. It wasnt worth arguing over, so he ate it. We had no silverware or napkins and asked for those and a side of mustard. She seemed quite irritated to be bothered with bringing us those items. We never received drink refills. She brought our checks before we were done and we wanted to order dessert. Again, she seemed quite put out when I added dessert. She dropped and shattered a large glass of beer on the table next to us. I mean, it was in the ladies hair, down her shirt and all over everything. Glass ended up under our tables, beer on my legs etc. She never apologized. She made it seem like it was quite the inconvenience to clean it up. When another server was sweeping it up, I pulled out my chair a bit and pointed to the glass under the table. He swept some of it and I told him it was all over and he said hed clean it up after we left. I repeated it back to him. Did he say he was going to clean it up after we left? We told our 2 and 3 year olds not to go under the table because it was dangerous. I pulled glass out of my 2 year olds shoe and I stepped on a piece of it after it fell off my jeans and cut my foot on it. :/ When we paid (at two separate times!) she got the checks wrong. My friend, her husband and child paid first while I put my infant into his carseat. Then, five minutes later I paid for my familys meal. Even though my friends had already paid for their meal, I was charged for theirs. I noticed and called her over and had her rering it. Now I have three separate charges on my card from last night for three very different amounts and my friends also have two different charges for two very different amounts on their cards. The only reason they are getting 2 stars instead of 1 is because when I pulled glass out of my toddlers shoe, I called and spoke with management. The manager I spoke with, Chris, was very nice about the situation and has offered to send a gift card in the mail. He was uninformed about the glass incident.

There were maybe 5 tables full when we arrived and the hostess sat us right next to one of the full tables. Ok, not a big issue. But she had to take the time to put two tables together to fit us (a party of 3). She half pushed the tables together, leaving them crooked and not even completely together with one table shoved way into the booth seat and the other table about 5 inches farther away. So we had to finish moving the tables ourselves, because she just walked away. Slightly annoying, but again, not a huge deal. The worst of it was: after bringing us our food, the waitress never returned again. Not to ask us if our food was ok, if we needed refills (2 of the 3 of us had completely empty drink half way through the meal), nothing. Red Robin has "bottomless fries" so they serve you a really small portion and you have to ask for more. If your waitress ever returns, that is. She did visit the table next to us 3 times without ever looking our way once. We tried to get her attention once, after she took the time to deliver balloons and a desert to the table next to us and sang happy birthday to the guy at that table. She didnt notice and walked away. After we were completely done eating and sat there for another 7 minutes (and I had slurped down the juice that was left from my fruit side since the sandwich made me thirsty), she finally came over with refills for the 2 empty drinks. We told her no thanks, we just wanted the checks.

Drove 35 minutes to eat here everything went well the whole meal. It came time to pay my bill was $37 & some change. Waitress Haley asked me if I would like change back I said yes. Ok fine, she comes back slams change on the table and says here you go. We sit there for a while longer, I needed a to-go box as my child didnt eat her food. We get no recognition to the fact we are there at all after the point of paying. So needless to say Im guessing I got the cold shoulder for asking for my change back of $2 & some change because I was planning to leave $5. She ignored us fully though. So I see it I lost out on the $5 worth of food for my child so I didnt leave her anything. Funny thing I could hear her being sweet as ever to the people in the booth behind me. Didnt expect to drive 35 minutes from Penrose, CO., to have a rude and inattentive waitress.

My family and I have food allergies. Weve found even with chain restaurants the ability to accommodate us can vary widely. So far Red Robin has been one of the most consistent in meeting our needs, and this particular one is no exception. They brought out the printed gluten-free menu quickly, and our server was very conscientious about noting I also have a dairy allergy. Our food arrived on time - the fries that came with my burger werent hot but Im willing to overlook it given the first basket of fries they brought out were definitely fresh out of the fryer. My husband and I agreed the burgers were the best ones weve had at any RR - you know its good when it takes three napkins to clean up, LOL. Our server, again, was exceptional, took very good care of us. I plan to give him high marks when I fill out the RR survey for sure.

I have celiac disease & its always hard for me to go out to eat. I was so surprised by the wonderful gluten free menu list they have. For the first time in months I was able to enjoy a dinner, had fries, even a gluten free beer. Usually gluten free costs a lot more money so I was also happy to see the decent prices here. I was also so happy to be treated nicely by the entire staff. I usually get made fun of but not here. They understood its more than just a "diet" for me & they were wonderfully helpful. This place has always been a childhood favorite and Im super excited to be going back. Definitely my new favorite spot. :) :) :)

My husband and I ate here and I have never been disappointed before until I ate here. The burgers we got were supposed to be spicy and the flavor just wasnt there. We waited 30 minutes for a refill on our drinks by the time we finally got them we were already done with our meal. We ordered dessert to hopefully better the already awful experience. We got the brownie fudge sticks and they were the worst thing Ive ever ate. They were just frozen sticks of chocolate that wasnt even good. It was like they just took them out of the freezer and put them on our plate. Bad service and bad food.
