I figured Id better write this review before I Fuhgidabowdit. So this evening I took my family to checkout this little pizzeria tucked in the corner of a strip mall on Bridge St. All started off well, we ordered our pizza at the walk up counter, and then took our seat in the dining area. The staff brought out coloring sheets for the kids and some interesting cracker like bread sticks. Little did we know they had done as their name suggested, taken our order and Fuhgidabowdit! So after 35 minutes my wife kindly asked about our order, the kids running the place gave her the old, itll be out in 5 answer. 10 minutes later our hot wings came out. They had just come out of the fryer and were blistering hot. The wings them self were of such terrible quality we didnt even eat them all, which says a lot because by this time weve been waiting over 45 minutes to eat and were starving. So again we ask, the dark haired gal proceeds to tell us that nothing there is frozen and they have to cut all the veggies and make it from scratch. Personally I found this offensive, Im Italian, and I make pizzas from scratch all the time. Honestly I can make a pizza in less than an hour if I pick the veggies fresh from the garden, let the dough rise the prescribed time and fire it in a wood oven. Damn! So were up to an hour, pizza finally comes out. Not bad, the underside has some burned spots and the sauce was fairly runny but it was edible. So moral of the story, if youve got nothing better to do then wait for the dough to rise and some teenagers to chop veggies Id stay away from this joint. That gal assured us this is how it always is, ya know because of all the quality and what knot. So if youre looking for a suggestion, you guessed it.... Fuhgidabowdit!

So, I have left my original review below from a year ago for comparison, as it greatly pains me to change my review. Fuhgidabowdit Pizza use to be the best Italian restaurant in Brighton... This is unfortunately no longer the case. Their prices are extremely high (we spent $49 on two pizzas and a side salad, which we ordered for take out and thus paid no tip). The pizza is good but not $25/pizza good. The last three times I ordered the spaghetti, which use to be phenomenal, was awful. The "sauce" was little more than tomato flavored water. I ordered it three times on three different occasions hoping that maybe the horrible food I received the time before was just an off day. It wasnt, the spaghetti stated awful each time. My family and I LOVED this place. Unfortunately I am now forced to concede to the fact that is not what it used to be and due to this we wont be going back. ---------original post below-------- This place is awesome!!! The food is so good! I think their spaghetti with sausage is better than Pinocchios here in Brighton or Olive Garden in Thornton. The pizza is great also! The service is great! People there are so friendly, approachable, and go out of their way to treat you like "family".

First of all, we didnt have pizza. Others talked about the pizza taking forever but people sitting near us arrived after we did and they received their pizza in a reasonable amount of time - around 20 minutes. Maybe they got a new oven - who knows! And, the pizza looked tasty! However, we both had the lasagna pinwheels. We shared a pepperoni pinwheel & a basil/spinach pinwheel. They were both VERY good! The flavors were very fresh. You could tell it wasnt an out of the box sauce or recipe. I dont know how to explain it except to say that Italian sauces & spices have a bite to them when they are fresh and these definitely had a fresh bite! The place is nothing fancy, but they dont make themselves out to be anything but a good ol place with good food. The service was great and friendly, and we wouldnt hesitate to come back or recommend it to friends!

I generally hate to give negative reviews, but man. My family came here at the start of a fun night where we had plans to see a concert among other things. This place nearly soiled that night. After placing our order, our server only appeared 20 minutes later without the appetizer we ordered and with the wrong pizza. The waiter apologized and said hed fix it right away. 20 minutes after that, we flagged him down and asked where it was, he said it would be right out. 10 minutes later, he brought out a complimentary plate of meatballs (10 for our group of 6) and said the order was lost and theyd fix it. After a total of one hour waiting for our food, we went up to the kitchen and asked about our pizza. The kitchen never received the order, so after an hour our pizza wasnt even cooking. We left. We had Mellow Mushroom later that night, it was fantastic.

This Pizzeria needs to just close the doors. Went there on a Saturday night with girlfriend expecting a decent pizza and needless to say it was horrible. The service was nothing more that 2 kids running a place with zero management. The kids cared more about visiting with friends and looking at cars in the parking lot then taking care of the customers. The pizza was horrible. Crust wasnt cooked and the pizza was sloppy and messy. No wonder they have very few customers. This is the first and only time I will visit this establishment and all the good I heard about this place must have been made up because I seen nothing good about it. What a terrible experience and I wouldnt waste your time even trying it out. I would expect the doors to be closed before summer unless something changes. Very disappointed.

While this pizzeria looked promising, my family was disappointed. We ordered some garlic cheese bread for an appetizer as well as two pizzas and we left an hour later, only having eaten some free meatballs they gave us to apologize for the wait. We kept checking on the pizza because we were the first people there and a half hour after we got there the place was full and we were still the only ones without food. They would say that the pizza was coming right out or it was just a few minutes more, but at the end they told us that our order had been lost and was never put in the oven. We had a time crunch so by the time we left, we didnt have time to eat dinner that night. Its a shame, the pizza looked delicious and the staff seemed friendly, but we didnt get to find out for ourselves.

After reading some of the bad reviews it seems like some people dont understand why it takes some time to get their pizza. What I know is that it takes longer because they are that busy. Granted its the best pizza I have had and the staff has always been great. They always let us know how long it will take. I guess I have never had problems cause I always call ahead. If other people cant stand to wait they should go to Pizza Hut where its just chain food. I was recommended by a NewYorker who told me he had not had a pizza like it since he left home. Plain and simple you have people that complain about everything and will never be happy. All I know is that our family and our friends love this place. If you get a chance try their meatballs and cheesy bread.
