The chief is good at not messing up food, its cooked well and naturally brings out its own flavor. However it is unoriginal. The waiters are children who are trying very hard to accommodate the idea of an "upscale" restaurant however since they are without proper training seem out of place. There is a certain amount of something, excellence? Originality? Professionalism? its hard to say, however at these prices its lacking here. If you want them to serve you something delicious, insult the staff. I have eaten here several times, and I must say while it was not my intention to be an arse to my waitress, I was hungry, she was being annoying, and I do not enjoy being condecended to by children. I openly shared how what she was doing made me feel. I had work to get done. Here I believe in an attempt at retaliation, the chief prepared something just for me. A spicy steak with beats, if you like spicy food as I do, I highly recommend it. It is by far the best meal I have had at the bent fork. It was passionate, creative, and delicious. If I ever decided to eat here again, I just hope I dont have to insult the staff to get a good meal. My credentials: From Mizuno to Cherry Creek Bar and Grill and many more. I like good food, I grew up with my grandmother being a professional chef for over fifty years, two iron chef titles, and several restaurants. I was spoiled, what can I say.

My husband and I were looking for a new restaurant and we had driven by this place so much we decided it was time to try it. When we walked in we were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated immediately. Our server, Rachel, was over at our table in an instant with a warm welcome and a sunny smile. She was extremely patient with all of our questions and ready with suggestions that proved excellent. When my salad came out the dressing decided it wasnt staying on the plate and hopped on the table instead. Rachel handled the slight snafu so elegantly and was back with a new salad in seconds. My husband had the buffalo burger and I had the green chili mac and cheese. Both tasted heavenly and were cooked to perfection. As we were leaving we were thanked for our business and given a good night which is a refreshing change from some restaurants where staff can barely be bothered to acknowledge your presence. Overall, dining at the Bent Fork was an amazing experience. The customer service was superb and the food was delightful. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Tonight was my first time eating at The Bent Fork. The food was pretty good but there were mixed reviews from the party I was in. Everyone enjoyed their meal except for the green chili mac and cheese. The service however was rude rude rude!! The female server that we had seemed put out that she had to take care of us. We are super easy patrons to wait on and after spending many years in the industry we have more manners and patience than most. There were only two other tables in the dining room while we were there and when she came to the table she acted like she didnt have time to answer the questions we asked. I think that I would rather have slow service than someone who treats me like I am not welcomed there. Her behavior was completely uncalled for. Because the food was good I would probably go back, but I would only stay if we had another server.

Our server, Tasha, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. We were a little disappointed with the seating situation where we were forced to move due to other customers coming in. Our entrees (New Mexico Ribeye and Salmon BLT) was excellent. The sweet potato fries that came on the side were pretty middle of the road though. We also had the cream of mushroom soup and the caprese, which were delicious. The wine menu was very good, although the food menu was quite large, very Cheesecake Factory like. There is a large list of Martini variants which looked interesting as well. I was very impressed with most of the food at this strip-mall suprise, and would definitely come back again to try some of the other things that caught my eye, like the French Dip or the Pasta selection.

Read reviews, which persuaded me to come here. Was not amused for lunch. First, the menu on their website is outdated. Wife was looking forward to lobster bisque. Atmosphere feels like it would do well for an Old Chicagos. Ordered grilled cheese and tomato bisque. Soup was good! Decent flavor, creamy consistency. Grilled cheese was decent, with soft inner crust, and crusty outer. Disappointed with the fries. Those are heat lamp fries. Limp and dry. The most upsetting, staff were okay with a 6-top allowing their kids to play around the dining area like it is Chuck E Cheeses. For any ambiance this place was trying to have, that destroyed it. I will be back to try dinner some time, but my motivation to do so is a bit lacking.

I am not one to normally leave a review but we are here for dinner last night and I was blown away by everything. it is casual inside but our server was attentive, friendly, and very professional. They split the lobster mac and cheese into 4 dishes so we each could have a taste as our appetizer. It was to DIE FOR! And then our meals, prime rib, Asian chicken with a bbq sauce, scalloped potatoes, and oh my god brussel sprouts. Everything cooked to absolute perfection. All four of us the whole drive home could not believe the amazing meal we had. And for the quality of the food you get, the prices are perfect. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE.

You have to be careful on the times that you go because you will run into a wait. The food is very good, its moderately priced and, the lighting in the restaurant makes you want to sit and stay for a while. This place is great for dates and also good for a nice celebration with friends or family for a joyous occasion. The wait times for the food are pretty reasonable and getting the attention of the waiter or waitress isnt that bad either is there a pretty much back and forth the whole time while youre enjoying your meal. Outside of the staff this is a place to go if you need a new experience or just want something good to eat.

Great food at reasonable prices, a modern clean atmosphere, great service from some long time staff, and most importantly NOT another freakin national chain. My family has been going to this restaurant for many years, even through a few different names. If you go, you absolutely must try the Spicy Penne pasta. Ive tried to recreate it at home, with some success...but nothing beats the original. Its just good to see a restaurant thats not just another chain or another "hole in the wall" bar that just happens to serve what they call food. DONT MISS THIS HIDDEN GEM!

One of my favorite places to eat for a couple of reasons. The service is always awesome. And I sincerely mean that. The food is even better. A couple of suggestions: 1st, the cheese plate. Cheese plates are often overlooked. This one is pretty darn good. Second, the salmon BLT. I wasnt sure Id like it... but I love it. Third and finally, the Asian fried chicken. A half chicken marinated in a spy ginger sauce, then fried without any batter. Its AMAZING!!!
