To be fair this restaurant isnt worthy of one star but every other review (my previous review included) is based on a restaurant that doesnt even exist anymore. They changed their menu to omit several of the dishes that were their most popular. The limited # of remaining items are so so & definitely not worthy the increased prices theyve assigned. My tender pork belly Classic Eggs Benedict ended up being cheap lunch meat Ham. Really? Ham? Do they think were all idiots & dont know the difference? The Classic Eggs Benedict was $13 & consisted of $2 worth of ingredients... maybe. "But you pay for the service & ambiance" right? Wrong. The service has gone downhill. Big time. From being seated to receiving our drinks was nearly a half hour. We had food moments later. No check back for refills & I had the bottomless mimosa so you know I was trying to get my moneys worth. Ambiance is all thats left, right? Thats what we must have paid over $60 for two people for, right? Wrong. Theyre doing construction INSIDE the building. Were sad because we love this place & two years ago they earned the 5 star rating. Now youre likely seeing higher ratings of a place that no longer exists. Sad. tldr; overpriced & understaffed. Go elsewhere.

Went with a friend last night, Monday night and when we walked in around 5:30 the place wasnt very busy. We sat at the bar and immediately received menus but the bartender never came back to take our order. When the manager (I think) came around, we asked him to take our order. We also asked about Happy Hour specials and he gave us a separate menu which we ordered from. The food was good but there was a real issue with knats flying around the bar, around our food and we had to keep swatting them away. We asked for one last drink which never came so we got the manager and asked for our bill. (Which also took a very long time to produce.) Luckily we had cash to pay because having to wait for the card transaction to go through probably would have taken an additional 15 mins. I can understand if they were short staffed or something else was going on but we never received an explanation or an apology. For being a main bar across from the performing arts center, Bellco theater, and the convention center, I would hope they could step it up a little and provide great, fast service.

We worked with Taylor Thorn to get the details for our 40 person event put together and she was a dream to work with! I got about a week notice from this large group they wanted to do a dinner. After my panic subsided and I thought about the best venues Denver has to offer, I knew just who to call - The Corner Office! We hosted a large event with you guys called Tyler Mesh back in June that was also a complete success so it was no surprise Taylor was able to exceed expectations for us yet again! This morning my group is raving about the excellent service, fabulous food and VIP accommodations. I always appreciate when Im made to look good, makes me a very loyal customer. You guys did just that and more! Thanks so much for making last night such a success, we will definitely be seeing the above and beyond Corner Office team again soon!

I LOVE this place! Great bar atmosphere and super fun kitchy restaurant. The food is really good, mostly american with a twist (ie grilled cheese ciabatta with tomato basil bisque) and the drink menu is unique too (try the espresso martini and the secretary) Ive enjoyed everything Ive ordered here and my hubs and I have been quite a few times. The staff is very friendly and the waitress brought a huge bowl of strawberry flavored cotton candy for us when we went there to celebrate my birthday recently. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, funky dining experience.

The Office Sirloin Burger was good. I just wish the cook knew the difference between well, well done and medium rare. Not interested in a bloody burger. The green salad was killa with nuts, strawberries and strawberry vinegarette. Sesame Chicken was fine and the Local Sausages & Fries is a little spicy. The Dijon they give you is more like Chinese mustard. Combined with the spicy Andoule sausage, wow! Gets your sinuses really flowing. The staff out front seem to be really on top of the work. Ordered , ate and paid in 45 minutes.

The bartender Alex remembered my wife and I from several weeks ago. Struck up friendly conversation whilst tending a busy bar on a busy Saturday evening. We had a couple appetizers instead of just drinks tonight and the food was as awesome as their mixology. Great business, friendly, locally oriented, promote from within.. etc. Awesome place to grab drinks and food. Its safe to say well be back, if for nothing else great conversation with a friendly bartender. Thanks for the continued great experiences at your establishment.

The corner office is a interesting restaurant. Especially with a name like that. They have a retro look and its really friendly! I was there getting breakfast. The menu items have some funny names giving the restaurant a laid back vibe. I ended up getting the breakfast burrito! The green chili made the burrito! It was great, but it could have used more! I would go back for the other food because what I got was very good. I would want to try their lunch and dinner dishes. The prices are reasonable as well.

Great decor, service and drinks (manhattan and martini) we were in a snacking mood, ordered first course off of the special Lion King menu. it did not disappoint, the lentil, pumpkin soup was excellent as was the malata with clams and sweet potatoes. We were excited to try the lobster mac n cheese based on recommendations.... We were thoroughly disappointed. It appears they forgot to incorporate any of the key ingredients: cheese, cream, lobster. I expected more from a $17 entree.

We come here just for the bibimbap. I think now its called sizzeling rice bowl on the menu. It is delicious! You must order it if its your 1st time at the Corner office. It comes in a HOT stone bowl so your food said nice and warm the whole time you are eating. They have great martinis as well. Trendy atmosphere as well. Perfect place to eat at if you are seeing a play at the Buell theater. It can get pretty busy on theater night so I would strongly recommend making a reservation.

We arrived at noon on Fathers Day prior to a play. We were delighted to have Louise as our server. She was attentive without hovering, and made sure all our ordered items were presented quickly and properly. She made recommendations and fully knowledgeable of the gluten issues that some patrons can have. The French Dip was absolutely the best Ive had in a long time, with fresh horseradish and tasty dip. This is our go-to restaurant when attending DCPA events.

It was just ok, first time here and the last. For an appetizer I had the local sausages & fries. One of the saussages was very good the other was awful. The waiter just dropped it off without a word about the brands or anything. For the main course I had the Strozzapretti Bolognese or what it should be called is hamburger helper. There are so many other great restaurants in downtown dont wast your time at this one.
