My husband and I were on a day trip date and before heading home we stopped in here based on reviews. Let me say we were not disappointed! We ordered 2 dishes the Chicken Korma was simply devine. We did not see my husbands favorite dish of mutter paneer. We asked if it was possible to get it and they were more than happy to comply. The service was simply outstanding and the food was equally good. We are just sorry that this place is not in our town. Will be returning again next time were through downtown Santa Cruz.

Went there with friends going by the good reviews. But was disappointed by the food and service. First of all, this was one of the hot weekends and they dont have air conditioning! It was quite hot inside. The food had American influence, and tasted sweet. The naan was prepared earlier and reheated - they did not taste fresh. All in all, the experience was not worth it.

Lunch buffet was nicely presented in enclosed servers and reasonably priced at $10.95 all you can eat. Dishes included vegetarian, as well as meat dishes (goat & chicken)...very tasty. Loved the dipping sauces and the naan came warm and delicious. Server & staff are very polite and kind. Will definitely return to my new favorite Indian restaurant.

Ordered starter, entree, side of raita and to be honest all of them were well below average Indian restaurant food in general, usually there is some taste and even spice explosions in your mouth when eating Indian food, all of that was missing, very very disappointed my 30$ would have been much more well spent on the diner across the street Im sure !!

I ordered the lamb vindalo, rice and garlic naan and chia tea. Authentic Indian cuisine with marvelous seasonings to tease the palate. The staff was very accommodating and the dinning area was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I am looking forward to sampling their lunch buffet.

Ive only ever been here for lunch buffet, but it is delicious. Its a couple dollars more on the weekend and comes with a drink. The staff is polite and well-meaning if a little clueless at times. Well worth adding to your rotation.

Try lunch buffet (vegan & vegetarian options!). Be sure to ask for Roti instead of naan since its made w/out butter. There are at least three #vegan items available. Spicy green chutneys available on request.
